The property did not hold up to other Hiltons that I have stayed in before. There was a definite lack of polish. One elevator was broken, the pool was out of service, there was mud in the stairwell for the entirety of my stay, and the snack bar was half filled. On my hall there were bleach stains on the carpet and peeling wallpaper. I missed a day of room service (the front staff said that they only come every other day but there was no note to that effect and I did get service two days in a row so I don't believe that was accurate - I believe the room was just skipped.) When I did get room service, they only replaced towels and made the bed - they did not refill coffee bar or replace the coffee cups for in room coffee. All of these obviously are first world problems - and the front desk staff were friendly and did replace items for me when I asked, but this property certainly did not live up to the otherwise stellar reputation of a Hilton. It was more like a run of the mill roadside Holiday Inn at best.

Just finished my stay here. I arrived at 3pm and was told they had no clean rooms due to staffing. I waited for 4 hours before they had a room available and had to change cloths in the bathroom before my event. They had the bar open but I was told they were unable to serve food. I asked if my room could be discounted and there was no manager on staff. The lady working the desk was very nice and did the best she could but it is obvious this hotel has poor management. The room was clean when I was able to check in, the ice machine on the floor was broke and there was no vending machine. There was a large group of people out the front enterance who were shot gunning beers and had it spilled all over the side walk. The atm machine in the lobby also is broken. Would stay somewhere else.

Service was excellent. Quick/friendly shuttle service to the airport. I only wish the light bulbs in the bedroom were a warm color. They were so cool that they woke me up while I was trying to settle in for the evening.

Advertised as 24 hour shuttle to airport. Incorrect. That’s why I booked..for 5 am flight departure. Shuttle starts at 4 am. No chance to arrive on time based on that. Had to arrange Lyft which cost an additional $30. Disappointed. I will continue to stay at Sheraton 4 points. Thanks.

Restaurant food and service and hotel employees were great. Gym and bedding were great. Hotel needs a deep clean. Carpet in room was awful and crunchy. Ick. Usually love a Hilton Garden Inn but this one needs a very deep clean. Restaurant food was outstanding and better than higher ranked hotels.

I did not like how the bathroom floor looked as if all the dirt was pushed to the walls or corner. Did not like finding long hair strands on bathroom floor and bathtub walls. Under beds had visible garbage can tell never clean under beds. A big hair clump hanging off the phone near the desk area. I would not recommend this place.

The pool/spa was suddenly “under maintenance” the morning after our first night. This was not communicated to us when we booked the hotel or when we checked in. The place was filthy, including our hotel room, the elevator, etc..

Once you enter the hotel it looks nice, clean, and inviting but when I went to our room on the fourth floor the entire floor smelled like must. Idk what they use to clean the carpet but the smell was terrible. When we arrived at the room there was a medium sized roach there to greet us which my partner had to get rid of before I would enter the room. The room itself was okay, no complaints other than the iron had burned fabric on it so we had to be careful ironing our clothes for the wedding we attended. Great place for an overnight trip but no extended stay. We ended up leaving extremely early because we just didn’t trust taking a shower there so we went home once the wedding we attended was over.

Please note…this isn’t a negative post…I just didn’t get a chance to explain these issues to the front desk before leaving this morning. The front desk agent m was great! I really appreciated the fact that our room number wasn’t shouted upon check-in. Extremely pleased with housekeeping as well. Issues…the bathroom was subpar. The vent was inoperable, the shower head was damaged (water spraying a lot. I tightened the shower head and that helped a bit but didn’t stop the leaking. The tub stopper was broken. We just left it on the corner of the tub. The toilet seat could be replaced with new, a lot of dings on it. The mattress was HORRIBLE!!! Super noisy (sitting / positioning…nothing else). And it was not hard nor soft…just existed. Not a good nights sleep at all. Overall, it’s OK for for an overnight sleep and morning shower. But anything more, the front desk would have been called during the entire stay. But service was amazing!!! This has nothing to do with the service received. So, I must say thank you for the awesome and personable service we received while staying here.

Book a room with 2 queen bed, but only had 1 king with pull out when we got there. We told it was a hotel and things like that happened. Didn’t offer to try and fix this situation or anything. Pull out slept like a rock. The Wi-Fi was awful, so forget about doing work. There were no USB ports for charging electronics. Very disappointed considering the price.

The hotel is very close to the airport and is a quiet stay. Hotel staff is quite nice! Gave us extra towels and bottled water when we asked. Cell phone reception for some reason was very weak (within the rooms). Lobby and outside no issues.

The hotel staff was great, especially the people who were there when we checked in! They were awesome! We had a long day prior to checking in, and arrived at around 11pm and they were awesome to work with! We had a very short stay due to catching a plane home in 4 hours after checking in.

Tarike, is one of the best workers you have there!! She is nice and willing to help. The people at the front desk are horrible and need and attitude change. They act like they are being forced to work. You need more employees like Tarike.

The stay was exactly what we needed and was in super close proximity to the highway and airport but still was quiet. Bed was very comfy. Experienced some issues with hot water being fleeting over our stay but overall a decent stay.

We have stayed at several hotels in this area when we fly into Richmond late at night or have super early flights. This is now my favorite -very clean and has a bar and restaurant. We were able to take the shuttle to the airport at 4 am for our 5:15 flight which was very convenient.

Mallory, at the front desk, was welcoming. Desired room wasn’t ready and she upgraded us to a suite with a jetted tub. She had all the answers to our questions as we had not stayed in the area before. We appreciated her knowledge and assistance. Plenty of parking. There are four hotels on the same property. The shuttle service to and from the airport is easy and close. The hotel has a bar/restaurant open from 5-10pm. The breakfast cost $15 a person. It did serve until 11am which is nice. We got there close to 10:30am, and most items were luke warm, or were unappealing. The hotel has an indoor pool/hot tub and an exercise room. We did not use either. Overall, this property served us well. We would stay here again.

The biggest downside was not having breakfast included. It was a bit pricy and then to charge $15 for breakfast seemed outrageous. Include free breakfast if you’re going to charge more than Holiday Inn Express.

With this being a Hilton hotel I expected better . But the fact I paid for breakfast ( extra) when booking my stay and got charged 10.00 for 2 scrambled eggs !! Then I have to pay for parking 10.00 a day. Which is ridiculous! You are already paying a good bit for the hotel room that is definitely out dated . The only thing good of the week long stay was Tiffany at the front desk .
