Candlewood Suites Syracuse-Airport by IHG

No untensils, plates or cups in thr suite. Parking was easy, great location. Staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Currently getting renovated... There were bare electrical wires sticking out of the wall in my bathroom and the faucet wasn't really secured to the sink. I get that they're renovating, but it seems like they might have been able to do something better here. We arrived late and only stayed one night, so I didn't bother complaining to the desk people but she seemed nice.

The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Many of the small kitchen items are not there yet. The staff was able to give us a set of dishes for two when we asked. They are also waiting on replacement items (like refrigerators) to arrive. The current fridge was roomy, but the ice maker did not work. The microwave and dishwasher worked fine.

I had an early flight and required a nearby hotel. The hotel is clearly on the older side and scuffed up a little bit, but it was clean and convenient to the airport.

Returned from our flight 3/10/26 @ 11:10 pm and was unable to reach anyone at the hotel for the shuttle to return to our car at the hotel! I tried numerous times and we had to pay $22.50 for a taxi to get our car. Very disappointed with being unable to reach the operator!!
