Super 8 by Wyndham Oxford MS University Area

The hotel is very dated. The door locks did not work as well as the TV only got a few stations and was often scrambled. The front desk staff was friendly and wanting to serve. They were the best part of the stay. Overall it is a hotel that is need of a major upgrade especially in the city of Oxford where there are some nice hotels for the same price.

Great helpful staff. Hotel is terribly outdated. Water running all night. Crazy to pay >200 for this but you live and learn.

The room (and hotel) smelled strongly of smoke. The sheets were stained (but did seem clean). The room overall was very dingy. The breakfast was terrible. As my husband put it, ‘fresh paint and wallpaper cannot save this hotel, only a bulldozer can’.

Only purpose of my stay was rest. My room was outdated, furniture from the 70's. It had mildew smell. Lot of noise, kids running, hitting walls throughout the night. Bed sheets had cigarett burns, office chair was broke, cushion chair smell like a thrift store return, bathroom light switch outside of bathroom. This place needs serious upgrades and should only serve as alternative to homeless. This hotel in it's current condition, I won't suggest to anyone!! I do feel the rooms on the inside are a lot better, but there are not that many and didn't see anyone checking out of those, probably were for the staff as far as I know.

Hot tub was the perfect night cap!!!
