Stayed here with family for an Ole Miss game. Very nice hotel with huge lobby area with lots of seating and games (pool, cornhole, etc). Good selection of food and drinks to go. Buffet breakfast. Easy self park. 15min walk to the Square. Highly recommend!

The only issue we had was backing out of the parking lot in a big vehicle with two vehicles either side that were big and a big one across and behind ours. Not enough room. It took pulling up a few inches and backing a few inches several times with the backup camera cautioning red every time

Great place to stay. The lobby is big and welcoming with lots of comfortable seating . The lobby also had a nice pool table and a foosball table and some retro games. There was always coffee and a decent breakfast selection. The pool area was private and only lacked shade to make it better. Very nice comfortable place to stay.

Clean and quiet. Basic amenities. Lobby had free pool table and video games for passing time. Coffee station could have been watched a little closer. In the room, the coffee maker/fridge/ice bucket was behind the open bathroom door — a little annoying but can live with it.

We stayed two weekends with in three weeks for Ole Miss family weekends. The location is great. Not walkable but very convenient to town with very easy parking. Very clean! The free shuttles to the Grove for Ole Miss football games are incredibly convenient! It is very expensive on game weekends, but would definitely recommend staying again if you book far in advance for the best price possible. Excellent service with goodies in the lobby and everyone’s super friendly!

It was better than expected with a few really nice extras. Loved having the pool table, foosball and video games in the lobby/gathering room. Fun to meet up with people and our other family staying there. Staff was really great and made it a nice stay for the crowded uga game weekend.

We stayed in room 205 the nights of May 31 and June 1. When getting back to our room late Friday evening I discovered boogers on the walls (yes, I said boogers) in 2 different places. Although thoroughly disgusted, we were exhausted and my son had already gone to bed, otherwise I would have asked to change rooms…although I question the overall cleanliness of every room after seeing this. The carpet had obviously not been swept and there were other mystery smudges on the walls. The carpet in the hallways had also not been recently vacuumed and there were stain marks in many places. If I had known this prior to our stay I would have NEVER chosen this hotel. This is what I would expect from staying at a place for $60/night…that is what this was worth. I told the front desk employee the following day (as well as showed him photos) and he said he was shocked amd that they are the highest rated LaQuinta in the territory and the housekeepers know what they are doing. That means nothing to me when I see a nasty room. And not a mention of “so sorry, what can we do?” Just defensive. That will be my last stay at a LaQuinta.

I usually stay on the first floor. Maybe that was the difference. The elevator smelled of rot leaking out of garbage bags. The floor was sticky. The hallways were filthy with bits of food. The room needed a broom and a vacuum. The sheets were so old or worn that they were textured with polyester fabric pills. The upholstered chairs were stained on all sides of the cushion. Yuck

Our stay was awful.....We were moved to 3 different rooms and finally just gave up and went to sleep. Rooms looked like somebody tried to repaint with a different color, old items left in cupboard and clearly weren't cleaned, room as a whole was not cleaned, dirty under everything, hairs on towels in several rooms we stayed in, even the lobby and elevator had broken trim pieces. At midnight we couldn't take it any more and had to be moved from room 2 because the AC smelled like mildew so bad it was making us nauseous, plus my daughter was itching while laying in bed. The floors were so dirty that after walking on the floor 10 minutes after a shower my feet were so dirty I had to go clean them again. The staff was accommodating and apologetic each time when moving us, but the hotel was so bad that we just couldn't get over it.

For being a newer hotel the rooms/bathrooms were not very clean. Towels had black embedded hairs in them and shower needs a good scrub down. Hairs everywhere in bathroom. Wore my flip flops on floor. The La Quinta needs a new cleaning crew.

Clean and nice staff. Conveniently located. Complaints with some of the noise. Rooms above and hallway noise could be heard easily from the room. I would stay again in a pinch but would probably look to a more quite hotel next time around.

The overall stay was good. The location was great and close to downtown. The staff was friendly and the room overall was comfortable. The room had some sticky spots on the desk which made me question the overall cleanliness of the room and the walls were thin so I could hear the neighbors on both sides talking.

Very nice hotel in every area. Cleanliness was really good in all the spaces in our room and the common areas. Comfortable bed, nice towels.The only slight problem was that we could hear the conversations from next door- from the vent in the bathroom. Not in the bedroom, just in the bathroom. The people were not loud and didn’t talk much, so it wasn’t really a bother, just a little odd and felt weird being able to hear their words clearly. It really was a nice place and we would stay there again for sure.

I never knew that Laquinta Inn would be so nice. I felt like this was a brand new hotel but I know it’s not. The staff were all extremely friendly, professional and treated us as if we were family. There was a sweet lady at the desk named Joy and we talked like we have been best friends since childhood. Another lady that checked us in and out was very kind and gave us just the right room in just the right location and one morning she heard someone say that the coffee want hot. She looked at me and asked me if I thought it was hot. I told her no it was like warm at best. She went immediately to the kitchen and told them to get some fresh coffee and less than a minute later out comes fresh brewed hot coffee. Thank you ladies so much for knowing the true meaning of Hospitality. P.S. my husband and I were in the hotel business for 30 years. So we know what we are talking about.

If I could give 10 stars for the staff I would!!! We went up for band parents weekend to see our freshman and a game. The property is at a great location and they roll out the red carpet in so many ways! Great food truck, beer available and what a breakfast! Free video games for the kids and pool and food ball helped pass the time waiting on an Uber. The property is clean fresh and the room was comfortable. Dove toiletries so not bad. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge which was nice but we did not use it. The golden crown of this property is the staff. From the moment of check in to check out and absolutely every interaction in between great energy and service. I have stayed at some of the best brands all over and was not expecting to find such fantastic service and energy. Greeting to farewell they were all on point. This will be our goto when we hit Oxford again!!

After staying at the LaQuinta for 4 1/2 years through my daughter's college experience, I have to say this was the most disappointing experience by far. My daughter needed a late check out on Sunday. I have always had late check out here. Check out was 11:00. I asked for a later check out. They would not do it So I had to pay for an extra night for my daughter to check out at 3:00. We asked for a late check out because my daughter was having senior portraits taken at 1:00 and couldn't lug all her luggage around campus.

This was not a good stay. We watched the staff every single day just sit in the lobby on their phones. We watched the manager parking in the handicapped parking spot every day without a handicap tag and then she walks on in without any trouble. The breakfast was always less than mediocre, and the woman in charge of the breakfast mostly sat at one of the eating tables and played on her phone. One night, they checked someone into our room at 1am. We were scared half to death when our door unlocked and people tried to walk on at 1am. When I was told we’d be compensated for the trouble, I still haven’t seen any refund. I have been working on it for three days now. Each time that I try to call the manager, I’m told he’s “in a meeting” or gone for the day.

When I was told we’d be compensated for the trouble, I still haven’t seen any refund. I have been working on it for three days now. Each time that I try to call the manager, I’m told he’s “in a meeting” or gone for the day.

The staff and General Manager in particular were exceptional!! She talked to every guest at breakfast and acted as guide to all things Oxford! Her team kept coffee and waffles flowing and the place spotless! You can tell everyone likes her! Stay here in Ole Miss land!

Room had not been cleaned that they gave me. Housekeeping had not been in. I asked for a refund so that I could book another hotel, front desk worker did not know how to do that. I had to wait 20 mins for the manager to return to the property who was gone to the bank. When she got back, she also did not know how to refund without a cancellation fee being charged to me. I waited a whole hour there before I was told, it shouldn’t charge my card, however I showed her where it had already been taken out of my account. The manager said I should wait a few days and check again, because it should only be pending. The money is still not in my account.

We have stayed at LaQuinta in Oxford about four times in last three years and usually we have a great experience. Unfortunately this stay we had two issues, however the GM did his best to correct. First was room 103, it is a heavily used first floor and we requested a second floor room which was accommodated and exceptional. The beds were very comfortable, pillows too. We enjoy the free hot breakfast and convenience to Oxford Square and OleMiss. The second issue was they accidentally charged us in full on check in on debit card but did a full rate hold causing a $4,000 debit/hold and inconvenience. The account fixed the mistake three days into our five day stay, luckily we had other funds for restaurants and other plans. Overall it was a good stay afterwards.

Stayed here with family for an Ole Miss game. Very nice hotel with huge lobby area with lots of seating and games (pool, cornhole, etc). Good selection of food and drinks to go. Buffet breakfast. Easy self park. 15min walk to the Square. Highly recommend!

The Oxford shuttle service (bus) that picks up in front of LaQuinta to shuttle to Grove / Stadium is not dependable. Very erratic times it shows up for pickup. The LaQuinta does not control this, but it is the only shuttle type service available at this location. Uber / ride share to the Grove / Vaught Stadium is best. You will wait a long time for the Oxford shuttle bus to pick up out front of LaQuinta! I will stay at this LaQuinta again, but will not wait on the Oxford bus shuttle.

Checking in with personable staff member. Nice pool area. Breakfast had good choices but things were not refilled and available the second day.
