Hotel was very clean, my sons used the gym and it was nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Loved the bathroom setup. Staff was true to the south, super nice and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

This is what the doctor ordered. I needed a quiet refuge for two days. Along with it having a great lobby area, gym, laundry facilities, and an assortment of snacks and beverages sold at the front desk. A nice movie theater in walking distance with a bowling area attached. There was an amazing coffee bar within walking distance also.

The property was very clean bright and airy. The reception area was bright with different sections for various activities. There was a pool table and lounge area. The breakfast was well stocked, and kept very clean, and the all-day coffee was always piping hot. Rooms were very clean, bright and airy. Bed was very comfortable, sheets very soft. Overall very pleased and pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel.

There's something about Tru that makes me happy. Very uplifting in its decor. Staff is friendly and helpful and keep information boards near the elevators with essential local details for dining, attractions, and more. How many hotel lobbies have a pool table??

The sheets had long hair over them. My niece had to go down and get clean sheets. We had to put them on because there’s no housekeeping at night. We were told we could change rooms but we were unpacked and I was in pajamas. Then when I had walked over the floor in my socks, the socks were covered in long hair. It was disgusting and sickening. I will be calling the customer service in the morning.

Staff was great. Noise noise noise in my room. Couldn’t sleep. Was awoken multiple time throughout the night from highway and strange sounds in the room. I’m pretty sure it was plumbing and hvac. The showers next door and even in our room made a LOUD LOUD noise. It was pretty terrible. Bad enough for me not to stay here again. Food was subpar at restaurant but staff was good.

The staff was exceptional. The property, however left a lot to be desired. The rooms were the absolute bare minimum (apparently by design). I wish i had known about the lack of amenities in the rooms ( no desk, no chairs, no carpeting or dressers) before our stay, i would have chosen a different hotel We stay at Hilton for the comfort and the Tru brand does not fit that bill.

Staff very nice. Property convenient location. But beds are not very comfortable and the worst is there are no curtains in the room, only a see thru pull down shade. So at night you constantly see traffic and lights and at the crack of dawn your room is filled with sun. Either is conducive to sleeping.

Cold shower and front desk response was extremely upsetting. Hot water not working, but I had to take a shower and leave on time. Sunday morning desk person escalated the situation by claiming I yelled at her and was disrespectful. Truth is I assertively registered my complaint as well as anyone who is freezing cold out of a shower they paid premium rates for. She seemed more concerned w the respect she received and how people should be allowed to speak to her. In light of situation I said sorry you have to deal w me and I know you don’t control these situations, but this is no way to handle it on your end. She continued to argue w me saying I was yelling and disrespectful. I know how to register a complaint. My tone was not soft or nice, but it was not loud or disrespectful to anyone personally. Plumbing is in need of repair and it’s a known situation according to discussions w manager. I was not made aware prior to my cold shower, but I found out the hard way.

Staff at check-in seemed clueless since this was booked via hotels.com. Upon checkout a receipt was refused to be given as this was booked through a 3rd parts source. Upon reserving the only request I made was for a room with a tub - at check-in I was told new blinds were being installed in all rooms with a tub and were not available.

The lady at the frint desk was rude from the moment i walked up to the counter. She kept looking back and forth from me and my boyfriend. Very awkward. Didnt smile and no customer sevice @ all.

Hotel was ok. I left something behind, tried calling and got no answer or return call from message. Very disappointed they didn’t call or anything. So, make sure to not leave anything behind or it’s gone forever.

The staff is the best of any hotel I've stayed in. They couldn't make cards for room entry so they were going and letting everyone in and never complained. Anytime im in Oxford this will be my go to hotel from now on. Every staff member deserves a raise.

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times at this point. This hotel is very clean, the staff are super friendly and they also are extremely accommodating. This past trip, our flight was delayed 12 hours and they ensured that my daughter and I could check in early and get a little rest. The desk clerks are very knowledgeable about the area.

Very disappointed with the breakfast time and communication. Was not told by the staff about the breakfast time being shorter during the week. Went downstairs at 9:15 and they literally closed off the breakfast as I walked up. Other guests were just as upset as me. The only sign about breakfast hours was a very small one to the far right at the check in desk. Nothing posted at the breakfast facilities. Ended up having to go in a college tour without anything to eat. I will ask from now on but the front desk staff should tell people when they check in too.

Everything was wonderful. The only thing I don’t love is the breakfast. We’ve stayed there multiple times and it never varies and there are not many healthy options. , mainly just carbs like toast, bagels, pastries, cereal, pancakes with toppings like Oreos, m&ms, etc, and other prepackaged foods. My 11 year-old loves it. I would love to see fresh fruit, already prepared oatmeal, etc.
