The parking company is absolutely atrocious. I scanned their QR code but accidentally had a typo on my license plate, within an hour I had a $15 unofficial citation on my windshield, I went to the front desk, and they helped me add the correct plate #, which then had me paying for 2 parking permits for the same car. I woke up the next morning, and there was another unofficial citation for another $15 despite me being correctly registered, what a joke.

The online website for the hotel said airport shuttle service was available but found out during check-in that it’s only available at certain times so we couldn’t use that service. That was a main reason I picked this hotel. Since there was no shuttle, we had to keep the car rental for an extra day and then was charged for parking! Everything else was perfect and the room was great.

There is major construction ongoing at this property that neither Expedia nor Hilton acknowledged at the time of this booking. The entire atrium (central courtyard) of the property is a construction zone with heavy machinery, with resultant noise, in use from 8 AM to 6 PM. There is construction dust only separated by the hotel guests by plastic taros This should be closed until construction is finished and should not be accepting reservations

Absolutely disgusting. Bed had sheets with seeds, fruit, and nuts in it. Shower curtain had hair and pubie hair all over it and there was an opened bar of soap with pubie hair on it in the shower. Disgusting. Everywhere was closed due to remodeling the building. Breakfast was very subpar. Food was gross Information was not given out like it should be. Was very upset with visit as this was our first vacation getaway in two years. Very disappointed.

The room was çlean, and properly stocked. Each time we ran into housekeeping they asked if we needed anything from towels to coffee. The breakfast crew of service workers were very nice, and the food was great. I would recommend this hotel to others.

I requested an early check in that morning but that wasn’t available (understandable) but when I showed up at check in my room still wasn’t available. It wasn’t ready until 45 minutes after check in time. My hotel room had mold and even though it took an additional 45 minutes after check in to have the room prepped, there was no shampoo in the bottle that’s attached to the wall. I didn’t know until I was in the shower. Room service was advertised everywhere, yet it isn’t available. The indoor pool and free breakfast were enjoyable, however I really wished the room I was staying in was properly cleaned and prepared for us.

If I had a significant other or family I would never stay here. Staff were constantly on their phones, chatting with each other. Meanwhile I stood there for 20 minutes not knowing where to check in or how to get help. They didn’t care at about me at all. My room had mold in it and smelled like smoke. I have $1000 in clothes that are now ruined because someone came in and stomped on my clothes. I’m also missing sunglasses. I will never go back to this place in my life.

Ok the people that work there are really nice !!! They have to clean this place up. Carpet needs to be replaced. It is very dirty and smells bad ! Furniture in the room we were in was had torn fabric. Bugs running around in the bathroom. Come on Hilton get it together !!!

The hotel entrance and ambiance coming in was good. However the carpet in the room needs to be cleaned. The room reaked of smoke, and all the draws were open. The cushions in the couches were all placed vertically. I had to put them back and the bathroom curtain had mildew on the end closer to the shower. The faucet by the coffee machines did not work.

Embassy reception is far less interesting than i recall it being. Only stale chips and sweet salsa. Really disappointing. Breakfast was ok. Omelet was great, the other items were not impressive. This property is very dated.

The walls are paper thin and the hotel could use an upgrade/makeover. The room furniture is old and it does have a musky smell We were here for one night …I don’t think I would stay longer than that

Embassy Suites cancelled my reservation while i was mid flight..about to land in 1 hour in Charleston..i specifically called 3 days prior to note on my reservation i would be flying in and checking in at 10:30 pm UNACCEPTABLE for my booking to be canceled by Embassy Suites with such short notice..reservation was paid in full

This is my go-to hotel for travel in and around the area. I have deemed it so just after two stays. Everything's close, parking is ample and easy, and there are staff members that exceed expectations. Of those, Tamarra at the front desk and George in engineering stand out as they help me resolve and issue with the phone in my room. Above all, however, one particular member of your food service team Judith went out of her way to serve me all of the breakfast guests with delight. For two days I saw the smile on her face...and the pride in her work...Judith enjoys her job and she's outstanding at what she does!

No shuttle from airport after talking with hotel and waiting 45 min we finally got a taxi. Booked a King bed they gave us a double. When going to the desk to inquire they said they only had a handicap King room left and couldn’t give it to us. We had a room booked for the next day. We had to leave the property with our luggage and return later. Kevin drove us to get our rental car and when we told him how our service had been he held our luggage for us so we would not have to haul it all day. Disappointed to say the least. King rooms do cost more never was even offered any money back for difference, wasn’t on your staffs radar.

First time at an Embassy Suites and wont be the last. From the hospitality, to the free happy hour to free breakfast including a made to order omelette station plus very friendly staff. Go see Manny at the lobby bar, one of the best bartenders and all Around good guy you will Ever meet. Also to The front desk staff for being on top of the situation when we came back to Our room About 8 and found housekeeping inside cleaning out our refrigerator because they said they thought we checked out. Could have been an honest mistake but still creepy, front desk And management were very helpful and even gave us a 50 dollar drink and food voucher. Can not say enough good things about this hotel....

Can't read rate the hotel, as I didn't get the chance to stay there. Arrived at 2pm to see if a room was available for check-in as we had an event. No clean rooms I get it we are early, no big deal. The lady at the desk assures me she has a room for me on the 7th floor after 4pm. Great. I tell her we will be returning late as the event ends after midnight- will someone still be at the desk- I am told yes mam no problem, i noted your late arrival. Arrive to the hotel.at 1am exhausted. Just want to check in and sleep. A new clerk at the desk asks what I need. I tell her to check in. Do I have a reservation? Yes- told her I had been there at 2pm. Zion had checked me in, put me on the 7th floor and noted my late arrival. She gives me a look, says the other clerk is new and they have no rooms avaliable. They are sold out. I ask how thats possible, and I am told again the other clerk is new. Mind you no.apology or anything. Tells me to contact Expedia for a refund and she won't fight it- like she is doing me a favor. Worst customer service ever at a hotel. Ended up driving 2.5 hours home at 2am exhausted.

Waited a hour in line for the front desk to be told they had no clean rooms to give and that I could wait an indeterminant amount of time for a room. I was told people before me had already been waiting a hour and a half and still didn’t have a room. You couldn’t tell me that at the front door as I walk in? Poor service and a waste of our time. 0 stars across the board.

Hotel is in the perfect location, walking distance to many venues or driving distance. We made this our place to stay at when coming to Charleston. The bed mattress probably needs to be replaced, we both felt aches in the morning. That was the only drawback for us.

The breakfast was not on Embassy Suites standards. Eggs didn’t taste good, French toast hard and cold, potatoes were also cold. Fruit selection sad, and poppyseed bread dry. Overall, very disappointed 😔

Check in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and spacious. Happy hour was different than what I expected from other embassy, the drinks was limited and snacks was chips, dipped and nuts. Breakfast was good as usual. I would stay again.
