comfortable indoor spaces, clean, large room. great outdoor spaces with live music, pool, bar, fire features, variety of seating options. the grounds were very well kept that gave it an upscale atmosphere. Onsite restaurant was great, fantastic bread service, helpful and kind staff. Coffee shop had great offerings for grab and go morning. Highly recommended.

While this hotel is a bit of a drive into downtown Lake Geneva, it's my go-to for when we visit, as it's only about 5 minutes away. The saltwater pools, hot tubs, sauna, and steam room are great. There is a shuttle service that can take you to a putting green or other golfing at another resort that's a part of the collection. I appreciate that for this stay I requested a room close to the pool and it was honored.

While the resort was under construction in part- I found that all the amenities we needed were still fully accessible. Had a great meal at Crafted Italia. Used the pool and coffee cafe in lobby. I will say while I know a lot of places are short staffed- the pool could have been a little cleaner. Not “dirty” but just needed a good going over.

I was married at this hotel with a previous name, so a stay here is always nostalgic and fun! I went to the amazing pool, had great drinks/food by the pool. The staff are kind and supportive!

Shoddy room that stank with dubious stains on black couch. Soulless. Staff ok upon check in fine but could tell quickly place was half way through a refurb. Corridor carpets dirty exit areas near stairs smelt. Clubs or hair leaves and dirt in indoor pool. Crappy breakfast option and a general feeling that they need to hire another 20 people in order to provide and acceptable level of service and cleanliness. House keeping knocking on my door at 9am on check out after not seeing them at all during my stay. A perfect example of why when it comes to business just stick to the main chains. I can’t tell you how bad my room stank but if already checked in and unpacked, plus the lady had run down stairs to “check the room for me” as house keeping wouldn’t respond so she clearly thought it was acceptable. There was a time when places like this were lovely. Shame.

We enjoyed the property grounds (pool, views, cafe). There was a very loud noise in our room that went on all day, it made it difficult to sleep at night. There was no ice available on our floor. We had to go down a floor to get ice. Room was clean but carpet was noticeably dirty. Convenient location. No towels were available at the pool which was inconvenient.

Everything was incredible on the trip. I enjoyed my stay while I was there. The room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the lake. However, when my boyfriend and I went to our room to check it out, we noticed something on the wall that made us a little grossed out, which was a bloody booger on the wall. We didn’t let that stop us from enjoying our stay. The environment was amazing as well with an amazing indoor pool and hot tub. Thank you all for a wonderful hospitality, I would love to come back soon to stay at this hotel again.

Overall the stay at Lodge Geneva National was enjoyable for myself and my children. However, for the price we paid, the shower had very little pressure and the half of the jets did not work. And the sofa bed had crumbs and dirt on it and only a sheet with no extra blanket or pillows. I would've given more stars but those elements made the room seem a bit dirty.

My wife and I stayed for Labor Day weekend. Check in was quick and easy, we stayed in a king suite. The room was a disappointment, the paint was chipping and faded on all the furniture. The carpet needs to be replaced and there were big scratches on the walls. Great view but the window was so dirty you couldn't really enjoy it. The bed was super uncomfortable. The shower was great but the towel rack was almost broken clean off. For over $300 a night you'd figure you'd get a microwave, but nope. For the price there's way better options. The pools were nice but there we a million 🐝 🐝 that even the staff were swatting them away every second. For that big an issue you need to call pest control or something. Also the tables at the pool bar were never cleaned, really gross. The Hotel could be great with a remodel and some cleaning standards.

We had one of the rooms that have not been renovated and the AC was loud and disruptive all night long. The outdoor pool is great. The indoor pool could use a refresh as it seemed dreary and sad. The staff was great and very helpful, but options were limited for them based on what rooms were available.

The lobby is stunning! It was a little bit of a let down when we got to our room. Decently clean but just lackluster compared to the lobby and the shower water pressure was terribleeeee. Thank God I didn’t get my hair wet in the pool to wash it in that terrible pressure. Husband got mocha from the coffee shop and said it was decent but a little milky. Some things I love is that there is a pool table and foosball table and games in the lobby (guess who, jenga, chutes and ladders, etc). The pool and hot tub were pretty nice but kinda hard to find. The outdoor pool and hot tub— ummm not great on a 37 degree morning! lol the hot tub outside was not hot, just like a normal pool temp and the pool was pretty cold even though it’s ‘heated’. It would probably be great on a 55 degree day but it was fun to test nonetheless. Decent place, nice fireplace outside, I do wish there were “do not disturb” signs for the doors. Didn’t try the restaurant but overall happy with our stay. Just wish more amenities were available but not all are during certain times of year.

It looks like someone bought a fleabag roadside motel, spent millions renovating the lobby area, (which looks beautiful) ran out of money and had to skimp on the rooms. Looks like the furniture came from IKEA. And very sparse. The mattress was very comfortable though.

The room was nice and clean. We had a view of the parking lot which was not desirable. There were several wedding/ events going on people were screaming and clapping thru the halls after 1 am which was very disruptive. There was also a dog that wouldn’t stop barking. Had I know n this hotel was dog friendly I may not have stayed as I am allergic to dogs. In fact I woke up with my eyes a bit swollen this morning and maybe this is why. Another negative was the grounds this morning was covered in garbage laying all over outside from people’s parting. Why wasn’t this cleaned up. When you spend this kind of money for a room at what is supposed to be a higher end hotel, you would expect a little more.

I did not like that the rooms did not have a balcony, and for that reason I would not stay there again in the summer. Also there was a very foul smell in our bathroom, some sort of toilet problem. The out door pool was jammed with kids and no life guard on duty. I feel that the room charges were way too over priced for all those inconveniences. Also no microwave in the room. The room was very clean and updated but overpriced due to missing items I mentioned.

Some of the rooms are updated. Ours was just painted but not modern. Staff was friendly. Pool area great. Faucets difficult to use- hot cold backwards. Walls very thin- could hear everywhere around us.

This is basically a glamorous refurbished motel. Pros: clean, convenient to Lake Geneva and Lake Delevan, great outdoor bar and patio. Cons: we updated to a room with patio but it was terrible. Behind an overgrown bush so no view and you are inches from your neighbor because there are 4 chairs shared on a small patio so no privacy.

When we arrived there was no one to check us in. Once checked in went to room. Minutes later a person came to our door and opened it thinking it was his room. They had given our keys mistakenly to him. So they canceled all keys. We took a walk hit back and couldn’t enter our room. Had to go down to desk to get new keys. They did comp us $25 dinner coupon at their restaurant.

Property and Expedia did not share it was being renovated! Access to parts of hotel (pool) was not good for those with special needs. Same for parking lot to rooms-actually had to go through construction to get to elevator. This property will be amazing once finished with renovation!

I went to check out… and then called within 10 minutes to let them know my daughter left her bag in the room. The person said oh yeah no problem we will have someone go into room and get it. When I came back to the hotel the front desk had no idea what I was talking about. Then he went to ask if something was found in room and said no. He said oh wait no one has come into the room to check in. Let me go check if something is there… there was nothing. I find it strange that the housekeeper was outside my room with her daughter and then no one else came into room. Sad that this happen. He then said I will talk to housekeeping tomorrow… well I’m still awaiting phone call. We have stayed at this hotel for many many many years and we have forgotten stuff by accident and is always there. This time wasn’t the case. My daughter lost her summer memories in her water camera. So sad that no one knew nothing.

The lodge was beautiful with a great view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating. They upgraded us to a room with a view of the lake. Nate was very nice with out check in. The restaurant was also very. Nice.

Great location, central to a number of local communities from Lake Geneva to Delevan Lakes to Williams Bay and Elkhorn- it’s also a bit off the main path so you’re not bombarded by a bunch of other tourists. Highly recommend. The service was kind and polite and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay

Nice comfortable hotel without nice pool, suna and steamroom. Service was greqt without being overly fussy and ypu have everthing you need. Great location to exploir lake Geneva and Town. You must also try the Mars.resort a mile away... old school dinner.club with amazing views

While this hotel is a bit of a drive into downtown Lake Geneva, it's my go-to for when we visit, as it's only about 5 minutes away. The saltwater pools, hot tubs, sauna, and steam room are great. There is a shuttle service that can take you to a putting green or other golfing at another resort that's a part of the collection. I appreciate that for this stay I requested a room close to the pool and it was honored.

While the resort was under construction in part- I found that all the amenities we needed were still fully accessible. Had a great meal at Crafted Italia. Used the pool and coffee cafe in lobby. I will say while I know a lot of places are short staffed- the pool could have been a little cleaner. Not “dirty” but just needed a good going over.

I wouldn't recommend eating at the pool deck/bar. The food was not good, especially considering the prices. Other than that, it's a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The staff pleasant and professional.

For the price, I expect several things to be better at this hotel. First off, all the stairwells/entrances coming in from the parking lot were dirty and very run down. It is the first thing a guest sees when heading to their room -should be clean, comfortable, etc. Secondly, the breakfast option is less than ideal. For the $450/ night I paid for my room, I would expect continental breakfast. This hotel is several miles from town with no real restaurants any where nearby. When staying at a resort, guests want a convenient, fast breakfast-to wake up, get their breakfast, and then go about their day golfing, siteseeing, kayaking, laying by the pool, etc. This hotel offers a coffee shop for breakfast with simple items like egg sandwiches and coffee. The line was long and they ran out of everything. The employees were working very hard and were friendly but they did not have the resources to do the job efficiently. Also, the breakfast food was sub-par- basically just thrown in a microwave before serving. If I were paying a more reasonable price of $200/night, I would not be writing this review. I just feel like things should have been a little more luxury for the price. As far as the outdoor pool and bar... I was happy. Crafted restaurant was just Ok. Service overall was very good.

Always love the ridge. Great pool area and nice rooms. Would love the ability to eat a meal there, tho! No coffee until 7am and only breakfast sandwiches from a snack bar available. No sit down restaurants for breakfast or lunch. Very disappointing!

We had a great stay, the staff was friendly, the outdoor spaces were gorgeous and the food at the italian restaurant was outstanding at accommodating gluten-free dinners. Beverages were fantastic. Would definitely stay again!
