Comfy bed, soft pillows, continental complimentary breakfast. Parking space was weird as you had to go down a tight alley, but once in it was ok. Housekeepers were friendly and helpful. Good stay for the money!!

Best Western Sundial is conveniently located at the north end of Old Town. It is however right across from the Nightclub section and so music can be heard into late night. The facilities are clean but dated. We had hoped to use the pool and hot tub. The pool was not heated during the first week of November and too cold to use. The hot tub was broken. Staff are great however, and the included breakfast offered enough variety that you did not have to venture out and spend extra money.

Excellent hotel overall, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast included. Nice rooms. Good pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, there is a night club district quite close by and the rooms along the main road get a lot of noise. If I stayed there again I would request a room at the back of the hotel. The one annoying thing within their control is that they charge for parking. This is not a cheap hotel, so the parking fee is unwarranted.

Expedia booked me a handicap room. This meant a little more space but also that the bathroom shower had no boundaries leaving water everywhere when my shower was done. This would have been okay if my room was serviced each day providing dry towels. There was a third of the wall in the room where the wallpaper was missing and it was obvious. The sheets were super soft probably due to age as they were also a dingy white color. The carpet had a good number of stains. Breakfast was very odd. You stepped up to counter with a decent menu displayed. You asked for your items and gave your room number. My breakfast burrito was nuked within an second of its life and took 5 minutes to call enough to eat. You apy $10/day for parking but its simply a flat lot behind the hotel.so.it feels like a money maker and not a necessity. Staff is very nice but this doesn't overcome some of the not so nice things.

We had a fabulous stay here! Everything was clean and functional. Close to nightclubs, but when we were ready for bed, the A/C unit provided the white noise to drown any exterior noises out. The staff were truly exceptional- one of the best experiences I’ve ever had truthfully. Excellent breakfast provided as well. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable - downtown Scottsdale, the canal area, shopping as well as food and drink. Our one minor disappointment was that the hot tub was out of commission when we were there. We definitely enjoyed the pool area though! Would definitely stay here again!

There was no outlet at desk to plug in computer. I was traveling for business. Light bulbs flickered constantly. Coffee pot had to be moved every morning to find an outlet to plug in. The patio door would only lock if the door was cracked open. The remote control didnt work and there is no cable.

Stayed 3nts in the sky suite. Very spacious room, private balcony overlooking Camel Back Road. Great location, close to restaurants/nightlife and shopping mall/old town- all within walking distance. Breakfast was complimentary and good selection. The breakfast burrito was tasty and filling. I would stay again. There is a pool area too, looks very inviting but we did not have time to use.

Nice facility, much better than most BWs I’ve stayed in lately, but it’s a very noisy neighborhood, at least on a Friday night. Also had problems getting the room really dark. The management has you sign a long list of rules for staying there. I felt like I was back in school. Very clean and good bed but kinda weird.

Hector took care of us from check in the night before to check out the day after. He was extremely helpful—he stepped away from his desk to go outside and help direct me to the hotel parking lot. The breakfast staff members were kind and courteous, and the food was tasty. This was the best Best Western hotel I have ever been to. Thanks Hector and Team!

Hi there I recently stayed at the property with my sister and 2 nephews. The property is beautiful, the pool is awesome, close to restaurants and nightlife (lots of clubs across the street) The front desk people and the breakfast lady were awesome. The manager (I think he was but he refused to give me his card was absolutely awful). Our second night we came back to our room and my sister needed to do laundry. We asked the manager how much the detergent was etc and he said $1. (My sister's luggage got lost and my nephew needed to get his clothes washed) We had nothing less than $20. I asked him if we could charge it to the room and he said no. My sister thought it was a weird rule but tried to pay for the product. He said he can't give us change. He than looked at my sister and said she was a miserable person and went off on her. We went back to the room to find $1.My sister went back to buy the product and asked for a receipt for the purchase and he said I'm not selling you the soap. My sister asked for his name and business card he refused and threatened to kick us out of the hotel. My sister asked for the soap (my nephew soiled his clothes). She told him that their luggage got lost flying to Arizona and there was no extra clothes for her and her youngest son. She told him that she needs to buy the soap and he said 'people like you don't deserve to be a mother'as he threw the $1 at her. We did not feel safe in his presence and his reaction was not warranted. Terrible

It was overall a very good experience, although we only stayed one night. The property was clean and neat throughout. The man who checked us in was very cordial and helpful. The room was clean, roomy and quiet. There was only one hiccup; I registered 3 people to stay in our room with two queen beds. When we came to the breakfast area on April 25th, we checked in at the breakfast ordering station, where the lady on duty told me that our room showed only 2 people on the reservation, so we would be charged for one breakfast since there were 3 of us. I said that was incorrect, and the lady sent me to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk also told me that only 2 people were registered for the room. He further noted that since I booked the reservation through Expedia, that it only transferred to their res. system as 2 people. so I would indeed need to pay for one of the breakfasts. The reservation that I booked clearly noted 3 people, and we fully expected a made-to-order breakfast for three of us on the 25th. It had nothing to do with the money, but the reservation that I booked clearly was for three people and reservation noted that breakfast was included. It was very irritating, embarrassing (like I was trying to get something for free, and was being a problem guest as I spoke up about their error) and there was no cordiality from either the “breakfast lady” who was “only doing my job” speech, nor the front desk (MOD) on the morning of Apr. 25 @ 9:00am.
It was overall a very good experience, although we only stayed one night. The property was clean and neat throughout. The man who checked us in was very cordial and helpful. The room was clean, roomy and quiet. There was only one hiccup; I registered 3 people to stay in our room with two queen beds. When we came to the breakfast area on April 25th, we checked in at the breakfast ordering station, where the lady on duty told me that our room showed only 2 people on the reservation, so we would be charged for one breakfast since there were 3 of us. I said that was incorrect, and the lady sent me to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk also told me that only 2 people were registered for the room. He further noted that since I booked the reservation through Expedia, that it only transferred to their res. system as 2 people. so I would indeed need to pay for one of the breakfasts. The reservation that I booked clearly noted 3 people, and we fully expected a made-to-order breakfast for three of us on the 25th. It had nothing to do with the money, but the reservation that I booked clearly was for three people and reservation noted that breakfast was included. It was very irritating, embarrassing (like I was trying to get something for free, and was being a problem guest as I spoke up about their error) and there was no cordiality from either the “breakfast lady” who was “only doing my job” speech, nor the front desk (MOD) on the morning of Apr. 25 @ 9:00am.

Disappointed in the overall aspects of this property. From arrival to departure, the front desk was never there and had to always wait 5-10 mins for someone or go walk around and hunt domeone down. Our room wasn't the cleanest (floors and toilet), our toilet clogged twice day 1 we were there and we flooded the bathroom floors. We had to wait until morning to call and get someone to unclog/ get new towels. Called down to the lobby to get transferred to corporate which was no help, then back to the hotel finally. The surrpunding bar area was loud and rattled the windows which has been noted before, however the ac sound blocks out the noise at times. The sound is quiet after 2pm. Will not stay again.

Great location and price. Since booked through app and not direct there were different charges which I never received a receipt for just a $108 charge after the fact. I can assume $60 was for $20 day for my dog which was expected. Their link offered $20 for late check out the request online and even text went unanswered so I went to the front desk. They said it’s $35 because I booked through an app and not them but nothing to show that in policy. They did offer if I only checked out at 12 instead of one they would comp it but checked out at like 12:15 as couldn’t get back from brunch in time. Didn’t like that they advertised one fee to charge another. $95 should have been my additional charge but without getting a receipt I have no idea what the difference was. Hence why service was a 3 because I was supposed to be emailed a receipt and curious what the difference is. I’d stay here again but know now what to expect and will ask for a printed receipt at check out. They do have what seemed like a decent breakfast options that you actually order at a counter not a buffet style that next time will take advantage of but didn’t this trip.

The Hotel location was convenient to the Fashion Mall and Old Towne. Breakfast was good and had enough options. My complaints are: that they never cleaned our room during our three night stay and the dryer in the laundry room didn't work. I had to dry my clothes at my mom's hotel which was an inconvenience. Management should fix the dryer. Also, the bathroom door is not a solid door, so you don't get a lot of privacy. You can hear everything the person is doing in the bathroom. I suggest that the hotel install solid bathroom doors. There's enough room in the hotel room to put a seating area with a table and two chairs instead of that awkward seat with an attached tray table.

Excellent hotel overall, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast included. Nice rooms. Good pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, there is a night club district quite close by and the rooms along the main road get a lot of noise. If I stayed there again I would request a room at the back of the hotel. The one annoying thing within their control is that they charge for parking. This is not a cheap hotel, so the parking fee is unwarranted.

Be aware... Our room and service were good, and the morning breakfast was very good. What we found out AFTER we booked and stayed there is that this hotel is directly across the street from several very, VERY LOUD night clubs that did not stop pumping music until 2am EVERY NIGHT! As we had plans each morning, we were tired as we werent able to get much sleep =(

This hotel was amazing, not fancy- just a wonderful place to stay with amazing staff - rooms were sparkling clean breakfast and breakfast staff were fantastic. Super safe , parking was wonderful we will definitely stay again !!! If I could give more stars I totally would.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was substantial and quite a bit of variety. The hotel is on the edge of Old Town Scottsdale and is about a 10 minute walk away. My only complaint is the bathroom door of our room. The door is made of a thin wooden blind type material and doesn't allow for much privacy from the other people in the room. Other than that, I would recommend the hotel.

The hotel is across the street from a club/bar area so at night it’s noisy but we were able to sleep through it except for one of our group who was on the bottom floor. The shower was odd as the bars that you grip yo get in was on the side of the stationary glass you couldn’t get into. And bring shampoo and conditioner. Their bottles are super small. The breakfast was extremely good made to order! The pool and spa area was very nice. The staff extra friendly and helpful. Over all a great place to stay

A good property that is close to the W Hotel, east of Scottsdale Rd. Much construction in the area. Parking is plentiful. The shower splashed all over the slippery tile floor as there was no shower curtain. Toilet flooded and jammed during our stay. Breakfast seating is minimal & cutlery is cheap plastic.

Room was nice and location was great, the hot tub jets turned off fairly quickly but could very well be operator error. Regardless it was a very enjoyable stay. Only downside was as that the suite we stayed in got warm during mid day but that’s in the middle of the day in AZ summer so other than that will return again.
