This hotel is very run down. You can tell they are renovating but I have stayed in many of the hotels in the area and this one left alot to offer. The rooms were ok and clean but the lobby is falling apart the breakfast area is about 104 degrees and the halls and ceiling tiles falling. Pool area is a very basic pool. Breakfast was very good that i have to say! Although it ends very early and you cant take anything to your room so for those with children that like a sleep past 8am good luck.

The Hotel is in a convenient location. They’re going under renovation and working on everything in the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool also under renovation, so we couldn’t use it. Overall, I think when work is done , it’s worthy .

Received a notice when we checked in that the water would be shut off from 10-4pm the next day. It was not turned back on until 9pm. We were offered “a bucket” and a janitor to flush toilets. The repairs should have been done while we were sleeping. 11 hours without running water is unacceptable.

The room was very clean. However, there was alot of inside construction going on early in the morning. The elevators were all shut down, so we had a long walk through the sister hotel to another elevator. This was inconvenient as my husband uses a can to walk and is not very stable. Food was very good, bar person Jorge R was outstanding.

2 night stay Intial check in went ok Room stunk when we first walked in smelled like old pepper etc. Ac did not work at all had maintenance come to "look" a few times nothing happened stayed at 74 no matter what we set it too ended up having a nose bleed bc of the dry air ... very hot and uncomfortable ... could not help or offer any thing to fix problem Only one elevator worked so that was also aggravating The pool was suppose to be heated but it was freezing Hot tub was fine Had to pay $20 plus tax a day for parking in parking garage... a $350 night and still have to pay to park ... ridiculous $750 wasted

I booked a king room, not sure why we were put in a handicap accessible room. some of the tile trim was separating. when we checked in, we were also charged an additional $50 fee. when parking you can pull straight into the garage but to get out you use the room key, if not you have to pay to leave. the hotel is combined with another but have 2 separate entrances. the bed was extremely comfortable. breakfast is not included. they have a restaurant/ bar in the lobby that is nice, and the bartender Jose was wonderful and makes excellent drinks! overall it was a nice, comfortable stay for the night. 4/5

The hotel was under construction. The pool and spa were closed My room was on the 6th floor, with construction going on the 7th floor. I even called one day prior to my arrival and asked about the services which nothing was stated regarding the issues I have mentioned. Very disappointing

Aged property that has not been remodeled in the last 10 years. Carpets are in need of being stretched and rippled. Furniture like the tv stand are press wood and coming apart in little pieces and the tile in the shower.

There was mold on the ceiling above the shower. Water stains all over the tub. Strong carpet odor and no free breakfast or parking. This was one of the most expensive hotels that I stayed at and it was not worth it. You're better off just getting a much nicer hotel in Orlando for half the cost and then driving up to Jacksonville.

Lobby smelled great and was very welcoming! But each of the floors and the room smelled terrible. We asked for a non smoking room and yet it smelled horribly like smoke. The water that came out of the faucet was brown.

The room was unacceptable. Our towels had hair in them which did not belong to us as guests. After turning on the shower there were personal hairs on the walls and at the bottom of the shower. After making it to the bed and moving the pillows, several strands of hair were there as if the sheets were not clean. At the foot of the bed there were dark stains on the sheets. This was unsanitary and served great discomfort.

Bathroom is in need of refresh. Lamp between beds has a plug for your electronics built in but it had been used so many times that it was too loose to make an electrical connection to charge my phone. I had to move furniture to find a working outlet

Locatiom was juat right for occasion. 8th floor was so hot and the air in the hallway was not working. The room was clean but quite run down. The room could get cooler than 74 and that was with the ac on constant. The room had a musty smell.

When my husband and I checked in, we asked for a quiet room away from the elevator. They put us in a room right near a loud bar, and after midnight, in our pajamas, we had to pack up and move rooms. The night clerk was very helpful. She even stated that she always tries to place guests away from that bar on the weekends because of the noise. However, when I subsequently called the hotel manager, Jeff Mercado, he was very rude and did not want to help us or offer us any compensation for our tremendous inconvenience. We have been Hilton Honors members for many years, and we were treated very poorly by Mr. Mercado who should be trying to make amends for his clerk's lack of training or ignorance placing us in this very noisy room requiring a middle of the night move. A hotel run by a non customer service oriented manager like Mr. Mercado is a hotel to avoid.

Stayed at Jax Downtown location. Self check in link in email did not work. Front desk service was impatient, kept cutting me off when speaking and did not mention breakfast or extra charges until I asked for breakdown. You’ll be charged $20 for parking even if you don’t use parking garage. Overall stay was nice after check in and room service/food was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. The staff was superb, especially Rose at the front desk. She answered all of our questions and was very professional and every time we seen her she had a smile.

The worst experience i've ever had I had to walk put before I checked in The women behind the dest was rude, the check in line was ten deep and the women behind the counter was so rude about it, my wife and I looked at how dirty the lobby was and how unfriendly the staff was and decided to go and pay for enough hotel.

Great location for going to the Jaguars game. Uber from airport was $35. About a 50 minute walk to the game on all sidewalks. Good restaurants within walking distance. Would stay again.

For what we spent on this room, I was disappointed that we couldn't get room service. We called to find a menu and they said it was on the website but it wasn't. Called again and that person said we couldn't get room service because they were too busy. We went down to the restaurant and ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers and said to call when they were ready and we would come get them. We got the call and went to get them which were barely warm and one had bacon and one without. Also the tv went out. Do not plan on staying at a Hilton ever again.

Breakfast area could be more tidy in the seating and serving area. The girl saw a big mess of spills and wrappers around the coffee area, but left it there. The tables weren’t clean. Otherwise everything else was great, including the front desk, restaurant, bartender and service.
