This is a really lovely hotel. Much better than I expected. The family room was very large, spacious and clean. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way for us. They even had a bouncy castle which my five year old absolutely loved, and really needed after a long car journey. We ate dinner in the bar area (the restaurant was closed) but it was the same menu and it was delicious. It was a really nice, family friendly area. They even had games out for guests to play with. I would highly recommend this place.

Welcoming staff on arrival. Room required extra cleaning as a very dusty and dirty Air vents full of dust and disgusting. Spotlight above sink was not working and was not fixed despite asking staff to fix it. On-site Pub run out of fish and chips on a Friday night. Disappointed that on-site pub closed early on a Sunday. Large selection for breakfast. Ample parking and 15 minute drive into city Centre.

Stayed 4 nights

Room was actually nice size and the bed was very comfy, bathroom was fine, how ever very dusty everywhere, was cobwebs in all corners of the room, the towels weren't changed, we had to take some off the trolley, room wasn't cleaned at all during the 4 nights we stayed, coffee and tea station wasn't filled up, loo roll, nothing was topped up during our stay

Stayed with two young children we had a cot and sofa bed for them, room was clean and spacious and beds were comfy. Ideal location for the zoo 10-15 mins drive. Friendly staff and food in the pub downstairs was tasty and bouncy castle for kids was a bonus! Excellent value for money

Great location, stayed overnight. Room was clean but some of the furniture was a bit dated but the bed was so comfortable & very clean. Breakfast was poor, toast, pastries &cereal. No cooked breakfast Mon- Thursday which we didn't know till we got there. Think I would stay again due to it being handy for the motorways.
