Went there for a stay cation with our small grandkids. The pool area was full of about 20 kids running and playing football in the water. Very loud and had very little supervision. Only able to stay at the pool for 10 minutes.

About 5-10 minute drive to the shopping centers, mall, restaurants. Staff was beyond amazing & helpful, room was clean, comfortable. I don’t leave many reviews but this place was so nice and reasonably priced we are definitely staying there again!! Oh! And the hot tub worked and was nice and clean next to the big indoor pool that was inside so while it was 55 degrees outside we were totally loving it, I he room had ambient lighting and an ihome machine that played soothing sounds so I was able to get the best nap in, in the middle of the day, absolutely not one complaint! Breakfast had a large variety, all you can eat buffet style, they give you bags to take breakfast up to your room or on the go if you need to, no waffle maker but a neat pancake maker that makes pretty decent pancakes! And the best cinnamon rolls! Everything felt new, updated & “smart” even the coffee maker

Pool was closed for maintenance, pull out couch had chip crumbs all over the sheet that was on the mattress, bathroom faucet pipe was loose and not installed correctly, overall place is in need of maintenance. Breakfast was good though and staff was friendly

The hot tub was freezing, the pool was even worse. And the hot rub had black dirt all at the top with mystery foam floating around and no towels. Not to mention the desk lady that night was so rude!!! For no reason!

Had 1/4 toilet paper when I arrived in bathroom and the sidewalks and entry way was almost solid Pigeon / bird waste feces that one could not walk around that lead to sticking to shoes entering the facility. I brought this to the attention of two different people working at the desk including telling the manger my first night my floors were very dirty and got no response in two nights. I am a lifelong customer of Holiday Inn Express but after this weekend in Lubbock I will be seeking other options. The people who ran the facility just laughed when I showed them the massive bird waste on their sidewalks and showed no concern. This is an institutional problem and demonstrated no concern for customers and the obvious blatant disregard for health and safety was shocking and disappointing as well.

Appreciated that the pool and hot tub were clean and well-kept. The pool was freezing, though, and the hot tub was just warm. However, if you go back and forth, it's not bad lol. Overall, the stay was nice and comfortable.

For being non smoking, the whole second floor reeked of cigarettes. The shower curtain rod fell down while i was showering and the microwave was missing a part that would make it turn. The usb ports by the outlets were misaligned so i couldn't use them

Location was really convenient and felt safe tucked behind a few things. The bed was comfortable and the staff were all really nice and welcoming. I did have some problems with my room (a leak/crack in the ceiling and a leaky window... AND the door fell off my mini fridge.) But the hospitality of the staff was worth it to me.

Our room was a ming room. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've slept on in a hotel. And the pillsows were actually usable. Usually in our experience, hotel pillows tend to be way to stiff and hard and we end up with a kink in our neck. So, overall great!

Hotel was easy to find and relatively close to restaurants and shopping. Dr. Tim, the front desk guy was very friendly and suggested a great steak restaurant. Hotel was clean. Very nice breakfast and tended to frequently. Sink and shower handles were dated and hard to operate (grinding and difficult to stop dripping). Would not hesitate to stay again.

The desk manager, Timothy, at the time leading to our check-in time was outstanding!! H took the time to call me as I was en route to the property (from Dallas) to clarify a booking issue. I had an issue with our mini fridge in our suite the staff was very friendly and helpful We stayed again on the way back on our roadtrip befor arrival the staff called me and apologized again said we were being upgraded to a bigger suite and was also given a discount when we checked in!!

Just one of many move in day weekends at TTU. Where are all the other hotels are hiking their prices. This one was surprisingly reasonable, clean, comfortable, and even included breakfast. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay nearby while the others are hiking their prices. It’s straight shot on Marsha Sharpe.

The only thing in the room their was only one trash can. In the bathroom. The breakfast at 8 am wasn't good. They started serving at 6:30am.Don't think it was refreshed. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express years ago at Livings,Tx. They had a attendant. Disappointed, at Lubbock, Texas .off the loop. The only thing good was coffee.

Overall property was good. The only issue was no air conditioning in the lobby so checking in was humid, breakfast in the morning was as well. The pool was ok but didn't have towels. Went to the front desk to get some so again not huge deal. The air conditioning cover in our room was falling off the wall but didn't impact the cool air it pumped in. Beds comfy! Location was good and close to a lot of restaurants and stores. It was also one of the quietest hotels I have stayed at which was nice after our long day. The only thing that was not good was the breakfast. Options were ok - the pancake machine made what I called dough cakes, blah.
