I didn’t like that the pool wasn’t open in the morning. I like to do laps for exercise before I start my day. The Cottage room was nice, but noisy in the morning as it is right next to the kitchen where breakfast is served. Fine the rest of the day.

Large room, full breakfast, friendly and hard working staff, no elevator, shutters needed cleaning, nice hospitality with free wine reception with crackers and cheese. Did not take advantage of the free milk and cookies in the evening. Nearby TapRock restaurant was a short walk with great food.

I love this place! The wine tasting and evening cookies are a hit!! I wish the pool was heated though— maybe have a hot tub? Breakfast -could offer fresh fruit and berries for cereal. Overall- great stay and property!

We had a balcony facing the pool and the pool was empty, which I understand, which is not good for the pool but it was also uncovered. Plus the light on the back porch was not working, which we did not realize until later The TV was not working but the front desk guy came up instantly and fixed it. There were carts downstairs for luggage but no elevator, which does not help the upstairs people.

Kind, pleasant and professional staff who focus on the extra little things that make this hotel such a wonderful experience. For example, the complementary wine and cheese at happy hour, followed by complementary evening milk and fresh-baked cookies were a wonderful experience. Our only issue was that the ceiling directly above the shower in our bathroom has some mold growth. We will specifically note this to the staff, who we sure will rectify the issue as soon as possible.

Holy spiders, Batman! It seems like cleaning only consists of linens and nothing else. I had cobwebs from ceiling to floor in every corner of the rooms (main, sink, and bathroom). I counted over 30 full-grown spiders on the webs. It seems like the “cleaning” only consists of linens, but neglects actually cleaning the rest of the room.

Nice location however are rug was stained & dirty. Something on the wall & lamp that ran down & overall surfaces were dusty. Glass table, chair & ottoman. Surfaces around tv. Around toilet dirty. Was disappointing. Prob wouldn’t come back

The room smelled terrible. It was a mix of strong spray and cigarettes. The bed was dirty and felt dirty sleeping in it. Its a shame because the room was big and decently nice. They just did not show the effort in keeping their rooms clean. You should always feel comfort in the hotel room you stay in and we did nkt have that feeling.

The property is on the riverfront and the river tour boats dock just behind the hotel. It’s attractive and quiet at night. My room carpet however was so stained, as if teenagers were dripping motor oil on the floor. It was that grody! I let the management know that zi don’t think it’s right to rent a room with the carpet in that bad of a condition.

The property is older and more run down thean website appeared. The bridge is very close by and traffic is non stop until around 10pm to midnight. The wine and cheese was not good if you like wine or cheese. The breakfast is large but tends to run out of food. The rooms are dark and decorated with what appears to be framed shelf paper. We had two rooms and one set had ripped sheets the mini fridge was frozen over in parts. The carpet had stains and rips. This is fine is you want a motel- not a resort or boutique lodge.

Lovely, spacious rooms overlooking river. Park-like setting with Adirondack chairs, pool, riverside seating. Some road noise from bridge but outweighed by the design of the rooms and the views. Better than average complimentary hot breakfast. Nice dining room. Very nice duvet bedding/bed.

Friendly staff, great location. Not a fan of carpeting in hotel rooms and unfortunately the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully they are updating them soon. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating.

Staff incredibly friendly. Room was beautiful and cozy. Balcony overlooking the river was peaceful. Stayed here to say goodbye to my mom for the last time so the balcony was really nice to just sit and feel the grief. There is road noise while sitting on the balcony and occasionally in the room if its a loud vehicle but it was ok. Breakfast was great, and staff was welcoming and friendly. It did get a bit warm overnight in the room even with the air conditioner set down to 66, it just didn't seem to be cooling as much as it had when we checked in. Lots of bedding on the bed, which was a bit much, again with the room being hot, but we made it work.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I was given one of two rooms that is literally right up against the parking lot and had cars inches from my window. I had to keep the shutter blinds closed the entire time and it was like a cave. In addition, my tv would not work the second night. The young man who was sent to fix it tried valiantly and sought other staff help but no one was available. The breakfast room and staff are lovely, the food is mediocre.

LOVE this place!!! Its super cute and the rooms are gorgeous! I could have sat on my patio overlooking the river all night. The free breakfast was decent. But my favorite part had to be the staff. Especially one of the managers who checked me in, George. George is an amazing and valuable asset to this hotel. He is attentive, funny, friendly and efficient. He made sure i knew all the activities going on in the area. Saved me a cookie when he was baking them and even checked in on me later on in the evening when he saw me outside just to see if everything met my expectations. I will be staying here everytime im in the area from now on!!

Had a wonderful stay at the Lodge at Riverside. Comfy beds, amazing breakfast that serves until 11 and cooked by a chef, very clean, nice outdoor areas. Wine in the afternoon and cookies in the evening. Felt so pampered. Extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Definitely recommend!

The people at check in were not helpful in the least and were abrupt and rude. The only ppl on our trip that we would say that about. Stains on the carpet and an Oder in the room. Would not recommend this as a place to stay.

We had a nice stay at The Lodge at Riverside. George was so helpful on check-in! The room was clean and comfortable. It was mostly quiet except when other guests were walking by the room door. From in the room, you could hear everything in the hall. The breakfast was okay. It would have been so nice, if, in addition to the highly sweetened yogurt and oatmeal packages, there had been plain non-sweetened options. Just having those available would have made a big difference. Overall, a nice stay.

Big room overlooking the Rogue River. Nice big balcony to read a book and sip tea early in the morning. I appreciated the security gates on the property. Lots of riff raf foot traffic in this area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Riverside. Although the property is clearly older it was clean enough and the service there is exemplary. Little things like the daily fresh baked cookies or wine and cheese hour were lovely. Quite a nice breakfast included with the stay as well. A nice restaurant walkable from the hotel.

A great spot on the banks of the Rogue River in Grants Pass. We would stay here again in a minute. Well worth it for the helpful, outgoing staff alone. The complimentary wine and cheese plate plus snacks upon arrival were a big hit too. Their complimentary breakfast was also a big hit with us.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Our room had a great view of the river & park. The service was great ! The breakfast was excellent! We loved Candi! She made fresh baked cookies and mini loaf breads everyday. She also suggested places to go in town. All of the desk & housekeeping staff were great also. We're definitely going back!

Lovely lovely ladies on reception, they could not have done more. Nice touch with the cookies and wine hour. We had 2 nights on our road trip here and was nice to chill around the pool. Nice town and easy to walk to restaurants, shops and bars. Breakfast was disappointing as ran out of an already limited selection.

The front desk clerks were really nice. The rooms were little smelly and outdated. Carpet dirty. Breakfast wasn’t nice at all (soft bananas, didn’t have waffles mix). I don’t think the breakfast is worth it. Area was very nice and the view and pool a plus.
