I stayed in 3 properties that were Travel Lodge on my trip. I chose them because of the Wyndham name. They were run down, skimped on everything, and this one didn't even provide any breakfast foods. We ate at the diner where we checked in and out and they could have offered a discount.

We got in a couple hours early and tried to check in. The greeting I recieved from fellow at the diner was a very curt "Can i help you". No smile, no hello just a snotty attitude. We didn't know that check in was at 4 instead of 2 as we've found at most other lodging. I asked to check in and the kid looked at his computer screen and in the same rude tone said "No, you can't check in till 4". I asked if we could have an early check-in and received a very fast "No"! Not a "Sorry, no" or "let me see if a room is available, sorry, no", just a fast, arrogant and emphatic "No"! We did check in at 4 on the dot and found the floors to be gritty...we wore our flip flops around the room. The sheets had a habit of scrunching up and coming loose which made for a poor nights sleep. There was no coffee or cups to be had in our room or in the entrance area where the railroad employees hung out. I guess for the price we paid, we were expected to purchase coffe from the diner where we checked in. Needless to say, Travelodge ain't what it used to be years ago! Next time, we'll spend a few dollars more as our friends did and stay at Little America. The staff there treated our friends with smiles, the room was very clean, and there was coffee in the room and the restaurant as well as many other amenities.

Well this place is interesting. I have never had to go check into my hotel at a dinner accross the parking lot. I booked it because it said it had a hot tub. Thats false. They took it out. We got to our room and in the shower was a used soap bar from the previous people. Gross. Then we went to put some stuff in the fridge and much to our suprise there was stuff in it from the previois people. The room was big. The bed was ok. I booked it because of the location. Its by the mall, target and a bunch of restaurants.

You have to check in at the dinner next door. Which I found strange. Get keys go to room and it was clean but very outdated. The room was booked for 3 adults. We had two towels, two wash cloths and two hand towels. A strange acting adult was wondering the parking lot talking to himself.

We did NOT stay here. Specifically said we needed a first floor room. There is no elevator so there was no way my husband could get up the stairs. Says you need to check in at a diner in the parking lot, but you go to the diner and it says to check in at the hotel. But where? There is no front desk. You have to go through the laundry area to find someone to help you. Then we are told there are no rooms on the first floor available but if wait until housekeeping shows up at some time they can MAYBE find us a first floor room. After 12 hours on the road you want me to wait even longer for something that isn’t even a guarantee? Praying we can get our money back for this nightmare situation.

As soon as I pulled in there was a paper sign on the door that said to check in at the diner across the street. I walked across the parking in a walking boot from surgery to check in only to have another paper sign that said check in at the managers office. I went back to the entrance to the hotel and it looked like an employee lounge. Luckily there was an employee there that told me the diner was closed due to a fire and walked me to the managers office a couple doors down which looked like a motel room. The lady at the desk was nice and helped me check in, told me she didn’t have the room that I booked and gave me a single bed for the same rate. There is less than zero amenities including an elevator. I walked up two flights of stairs to the room. Thankfully the bed was comfortable. The place smelled old. There is no breakfast and don’t expect anything but a bed and a cup of coffee. As I was leaving in the morning, the employees were smoking in the “lounge/office”.

Well this place is interesting. I have never had to go check into my hotel at a dinner accross the parking lot. I booked it because it said it had a hot tub. Thats false. They took it out. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a no frills place. The young man who was working at the front desk (which was really a front table) was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us every time he saw us during our stay. On the flip side, there were a couple female employees who were using profanity out in the parking lot the morning we were leaving. They weren’t in a conflict….just having a conversation that included lots of colorful words. My husband also observed one of them sitting in the front lobby area on a chair with her legs drawn up to her chin saying “I should have just called out today. Not sure why I came in to work today”. Pretty unprofessional especially in front of hotel guests.

It’s an OK stay. It’s a non smoking facility but the room smells like cigarettes, smells musty, and there was an open case of bottled water in the room. Other than that, other parts of the room and check in was great.

Reasonably priced and a well maintained hotel. My room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The mall and major restaurants are all within a 10 min walk. The location is tucked away from the main road so it's relatively quiet. I honestly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cheyenne for a few days.

The room was clean and updated in a low end hotel kinda way, as expected. But the beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Terrible nights sleep. The area is not good, but we were just passing through so really didnt care. The lack of a front desk was weird, but check in went fine.

Like that we got to have parking in front of room, very noisy in the room next door, very noisy outside with women yelling. No one was available in morning to print receipt as what was told in check in. Had to keep coming back to check in as rooms were not clean due to understaffed. No coffeemaker in room. Beds were ok.

It was ver quiet and clean. We spent a lot of time away from the hotel at Frontier days but it was very convenient and easy drive to the fairgrounds. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Everything was excellent. Check-in was easy and pleasant. Room was wonderful. Location was wonderful, near lots of shops, restaurants, and services. It was easy to get downtown. The 24-hour diner is cute, and...24-hours!

The front desk clerk was rude and argumentative from the outset. He would only issue one key for the two of us which was most inconvenient for our stay. This is a Wyndham property. I expect better. The other staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was clean as long as you didn't look under the bed. The room was not well lit. There are no luggage carts. The fan in the bathroom was noisy and as such we couldn't leave the light on to find the bathroom in the dark at night. The curb outside the door needs painted yellow where the ramp ends. My wife fell and injured her knee and possibly her back because she didn't see where the curb began and the ramp ended.

I was woken up by the night staff at midnight claiming that I needed to give them my credit card so they could check me in. My Expedia account and my bank account showed the transaction as pending and I refused to get dressed and cross a parking lot at midnight. I got another call 15 minutes later with the same request insisting that I give them my credit card number. In the morning I checked with morning crew at desk and was told that there was no issue with my card. Horrible experience and made me think I was being scammed by this hotel?!

We needed to extend our stay by one day. Went to front desk and the person guaranteed us we didn’t need to sign they would just charge our card one additional day. The next day we went to run a few errands and get back to find were locked out of our room. The day person said they didn’t know who told us that. The person working your front last night. They said they had no other rooms and that are room has been booked. Very unhappy!!

We had a 6 am flight so we only slept in the room for about 6 hours. It is close to several places to eat and the motel is easy to get to. The room was nice and quiet. However, the bathroom fan was a little noisy when it ran. If we do this flight connection again we will certainly stay again.
