Club Regina Cancun

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had one issue with a bed which was fixed immediately. Rooms were clean and quiet, and everything worked as it should. The only reason I’m giving for stars out of 5 is we could never seem to find the bar open.

Area- I had a calm nice five days at Club Regina. The location is the furthest away form the Hotel Zone (North) which nice to have if you are not looking to party every night. Service- The service is great, the staff is kind to us and accommodated to all our needs and questions. Facilities - I wish the front desk warned us about the pool was half closed as of some construction on the last floor that looked un safe. Meaning we didn't feel comfortable using the Pool as the second day we heard a BANG! as some heavy debris from their rooftop fell on the pool. Food- Not gonna lie they had one server and one cook. the pasta we had was Dry and they just added the sauce on dried pasta. The second order was a spaghetti and also was dry and No meat as noted on the menu. We decided to eat somewhere out of the facility. Took the bus R1 - R2 as they go north and south it was easy to hop on and off and try different restaurants

No business office, restaurant close early, room service not good and not 24 hours

Not a huge place, easy to access beach just a few steps, restaurant in front of the beautiful sea, excellent breakfast love this hotel.

Good - Gorgeous ocean, A/C worked well, large suite with kitchenette, local bus stop close by. Not good- Windy so red flag all week, suite had strong, musty smell, mechanical noises, door rattled, resort fees, construction so part of pool closed, dark, winding, hot and open to outdoor hallways, restaurant not great, the suite was a timeshare but didn’t realize it as Expedia didn’t tell us. Front desk woke us twice offering free breakfast we were told by others was for presentation.

We loved it! It's smaller and not as busy of an area compared to the rest of the hotel strip. We are not a fan of crowds so this was perfect! Plus there is a bus you can catch that will take you up and down the hotel strip $1usd per person. For the price we paid you can not beat the views we had, it's right on the beach and not far from the airport. They have 2 pools and a hot tub. They also had entertainment, with complimentary tostada and pineapple juice! There is a room for massages(we didn't do that though). There is a small gym, small bar restaurant outside, with swim up bar. A restaurant inside as well. They have pool towels. There is mini Mart in the hotel as well. The staff was very pleasant and nice to us. They do try to get you to go to a complimentary breakfast for timeshare stuff when you first check in but just say no if you don't want to, that's what we did. There is a few restaurants in walking distance, I recommend Navios for Dinner or lunch, and Km19.5 for breakfast, both of these places are on the lagoon side great views. There is also also a cool historical place in walking distance that has a bunch of iguanas to see El reyel rey archaeological site is the name, it's not free, but I think it was only around $4-8 us dollars total for two of us. If you take a bus anywhere for dinner I recommend Thai it's on the lagoon with private bungalows about a 6min bus ride.

I stayed 6 nights. The property is a good value and the staff is excellent, friendly, and very attentive. The pricing on alcoholic beverages is excessive and feels like Vegas. The rooms are good. However if you are on the street side , you will hear traffic. Biggest complaint was the moldy, mildew smell coming from the Air conditioner, I was waking up with headaches from the mold. I finally resorted to turning it off, and it was better. The room stayed cool enough because I was on the bottom floor. This is a problem with high humidity climates and older buildings. Being on the bottom floor did come with disadvantages of hearing activity above me. The staff is awesome. Next time I visit I will stay pay more money for a 4 star newer property. The whole mold issue is a deal breaker, I also smelled it in the Gym Area, so you know it's moldy through out the whole building vent system. They did send a tech out, and he put some deodorizing tabs in it. But that's only a band -aid for smell, and did not kill the mold, so know your breathing deodorizing fragrance and mold.

This was our second stay at Club Regina and I'd go back again in a heartbeat! The customer service is hands down the absolute best, they are so helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom with living room and kitchen; I love having plenty of space for everyone. The poolside bar has great prices and makes everything fresh when you order, we enjoyed every meal and drink that we had. They have many activities that were so fun! The kids made bracelets and painted seashells, we all played bingo, they played blackjack, had a bartender class lol and karaoke. The cafe has a great variety of specialty drinks and snacks, she makes your crepe and churros when you order so that they are hot and fresh! The beach is beautiful, pools are clean, and there were so many loungers with umbrellas that you never worry about getting a spot. The massages were phenomenal. Jimena kept our space clean and stocked, was always attentive if we needed her, and found my daughters phone in the room after we checked out and rushed down to catch us! Every single host was amazing and friendly. Our time went by way too fast because we had such a wonderful stay at the Club Regina!

Better than expected! Need a renovation in the pool chairs and decoration but its very clean and has all the necessities like gym, pool, beach, restaurants, bar, coffee shop, mini market. The staff is very friendly, they even decorated my room for my anniversary without extra charge. The food was reaaaallly good all the time. Location is perfect

hot tub was broken and pool pump not working. Rooms need major renovations! Very dated. Inconsistent water temperature in showers and air conditioning was intermittent.

Staff are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are being clean everyday.

Unsanitary water in room

We had a great time! Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. Everything was perfect, my only comment is that some things, like the fridge in our room, was a bit outdated

Our jacuzzi tub… had brown water coming out of the pipes so we weren’t able to use it. But it was nice

Es cómodo porque tiene vista al mar, cocineta, la tina de hidromasaje en la terraza. Pero el lugar nos lo entregaron sucio, no servía un foco, la chapa estaba atascada, los vasos y cubiertos sucios, los baños el piso escurridos, después nos cambiaron a otro cuarto porque tuvieron que fumigar, esa otra habitación sí estaba limpia y en mejores condiciones y con vista hermosa. En general fue cansado, pero el personal siempre fue amable. Deberían proporcionar alguna botella de agua o algún garrafón donde los huéspedes puedan tomar agua. No tenían ni en recepción una botella en venta.

Trouble getting acceptable WIFI in rooms and common areas. Food quality and areas were below average for the price. Nothing close by for food or entertainment. Ok for kids and old people and I'm 75 and wouldn't stay there again. Not my kind of place for a vacation, did have a nice looking beach, but windy and high surf during my two day stay

The place was great, the s taff was very nice, the only issue is that the place is not veryy good sound proof as you can hear peple on the hall. But I will come back dor sure!

The room was massive with 2 Jacuzzi's on both adjoining rooms. The design and the kitchen and toilets are old and would need to be refurbished soon.

The unit is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Everything from the hot tub to the AC is fully operational; the kitchen equipment is a bit dated but works perfectly well, and the shower pressure is a highlight.

This property is somewhat misrepresented online. The rooms are not nearly as well-lit or well-equipped as they appear in the images provided here. The rooms are darker, the furniture and appliances (e.g. mini fridge) quite old. The restaurant quality is extremely sub-par. The coffee served at breakfast was so astringent it smelled like rubbing alochol and made us sick. Additionally, Expedia listed a Studio suite for 2 people with an ocean view, and charged extra for the ocean view. While we realize that is a request, the resort notified us at check in that they dont have any rooms at all for 2 people with an ocean view. All the ocean view rooms are larger. Expedia essentially charged extra for something the property doesn't offer. The staff are not particularly friendly either, often appearing annoyed or bothered to have to help a guest. We requested fresh towels that never came, and drink service by the beach is incredibly slow. Wait waited over 20 minutes between being acknowledged by staff and someone coming to take our order - we thought they forgot about us. This property is clearly very old and in need of renovations. Sliding doors in our room were warped and did not slide easily. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, despite it being a dedicated space in the bathroom. The windows in the room did not latch properly. The rooms only have a handle lock, and no secondary chain or deadbolt. Overall, the experience was pretty bad.

We came to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and our stay at Club Regina was an amazing one, we had a very relaxing stay which we all need after the harsh winter weather. Our room is very clean and spacious, I loved that we have 2 separate rooms and bathrooms but it could have been much nicer if we have the view of the Ocean. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Antonio ( I hope it is the right name), he helped us booked a private van to go to Tulum which saved us some money and definitely a lot of time than if we took the ADO bus. We’ll definitely stay here again!

It is at the south end of the hotel zone, so there isn’t anything close by for shopping or groceries, but the walk is great and you can always find a cab to get back. And there is a taxi pool at the end of the driveway.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond time and time again.

Staff was excellent the hospitality was awesome if anything was wrong this really made up for all when on vacation you deserve to feel welcomed and happy and this is exactly how we felt here

Everything was perfect. Only problem we had was with Sandra. We got invited to a welcoming breakfast by Irma and were never told it was a sale’s breakfast after we said no to the offer she was rude.

One of the best things is that the zargazo algae was less than in the near hotels, the fact that a little truck cleaned the beach in the morning, and the rooms were fantastic. All the service and the food was awesome as well. One thing I disliked was the welcome call in the morning to check on us and if we had everything in order. The lady knew we arrived very late at night (she helped us with the transportation from the airport to the hotel and in that call I told her we were looking forward a super tranquil and resting vacation) the very first morning she called at 9, and we were still sleeping as we arrived very late and she asked several times to go downstairs before breakfast to her desk. We couldn't rest and decided to find out what she needed us for. She wanted to invite us for a free breakfast to sell share times ( we had the breakfast included, so there was no point and I dint want to spend time on sales). I understand she has to do her job, but it would be awesome if we could rest and then have the welcome whatever... Anyway, long story short, we respectfully decline the breakfast and for the rest of the trip she was not smiling or even returning the good morning greeting. So the hotel and everyone there, the guys at the beach, the restaurant, the front desk, and service were magnificent. but this lady.. really not the best.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful & the property was extremely clean. I removed a star bc tfw food in the restaurant was subpar & the service, while friendly, was extremely slow We waited more than an hour for our food.

Although there was some unexpected construction going on, the staff and service more than made up for any inconvenience. There are also some good dining options within walking distance. Thank you and look forward to returning.

I was not aware from the Expedia description that this property was a time share property. I had to listen to several hours of time share sales pitch. Also the breakfast offered was not very special. The property was located very close to where my daughter was staying and convenient in that sense. The room was clean and well kept up.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 night. I highly recommend it. It is located in the beginning of the hotel zone, very close to the airport. If you don’t like big waves you can walk 10 minutes to the very beginning of the strip - there is a nice beach with no waves, it’s protected by rocks. Also, the beach in front of the hotel is really nice. The room was very clean, and people who work here were nice. The hotel is a bit old, but it’s clean, safe, with a nice beach, and in a great location. The breakfast was good for that price (it was bit included when I was booking the room). There are many families with kids in this hotel, so it’s better for families. Also, it is not a very big hotel - if you like a cozy vibe. We really enjoyed staying here.

It is a great resort. There is food available though we prefer to explore the local restaurants. The food is great with the option to be served on the beach. The drink menu is extensive. There was plenty of usable beach unlike some other resorts. The more touristy area are a quick and cheap bus ride away (12pesos.) Taxis are always available.

Excellent property. Quiet with great facilities. Included breakfast spread was very good as well. Eligio and the lady at the egg counter take care of their breakfast guests very well. There is a bus stop very close that takes you anywhere for 12 pesos.

We love Club Regina and especially their buffet breakfast and ocean view.

La propiedad esta bien, solo necesita remodelar partes especificas como los baños porque lucen anticuados. Otro aspecto que deben mejorar son sus restaurantes. La oferta que tienen de alimentos es limitada.

The view is excellent, the hotel has direct access to the beach, and from the room you get to see the sunset. But the hotel restaurant's food is bad and takes too long to prepare, I find walking to the convenience store to buy some tacos to be faster and better.
