It wasn’t bad, but there was water damage in both the room and the bathroom. It kind of grossed me out. The pool was also disgusting. We went on graduation weekend, so there were not a lot of options, but I would probably look for other places to stay over this place

We booked 4 nights. The first night was totally awful due to the sound of traffic But the manager gave us another room the day after. That was great. The pool area was closed The breakfast was the worst ever. So we had our own food

BED BUGS!!! In town for Tech’s graduation & needed somewhere just for the night. Options were slim, being the whole town under $400/night was sold out. It was also across the street from the arena so we went with it. As soon as we pulled up we started second guessing our decision. Room & furniture were pretty run down (torn desk chair, huge indent in mattress). Get to bed & I felt like something was biting my neck & shoulder but didn’t see anything when I checked. Finally I use my phone like to inspect even closer & I saw a tiny bug under my pillow by the headboard & a bigger one one the wall. I wake my brother in the other bed & he checks his only to find 4 or 5 crawling around, then my mom sees a big one crawling on the back of my shirt!! We had even Lysoled the sheets & pillows before laying down. Showed the front desk clerk the video of the bugs crawling & demanded a refund & left. Freaking disgusting.

The rooms had mold and mildew buildup and one of the the other rooms tub wouldn’t drained. The staff was quick about fixing it which was a plus, and they were kind.

Hotel was not clean. Tables in the room were dusty. Iron table was dirty. My shirt got black stains. Shortage of staff in the breakfast area and overall. Breakfast had limited options. Coffee creamers were rotten. Garbage removal from the breakfast area was slow.

I understand you get what you pay for but cleanliness should not be an option. Bathroom was dirty with toothpaste and hair on sink, mirror and floor, pillow cases had make up from the last persons stay on them, breakfast dining area had layers of dust/grime.

I checked in during the late afternoon. I was informed of the times for breakfast, and checkout, and left my card number to finalize my stay. Check out was simple, as they had my card on file. I just returned the keys. The stay way comfortable but not cleanly. The shower area has black growing mold on the ceiling, and there were towels with stains. There was not the smell of any cleaners, so when I noticed grime on the furniture and curtains, i was not too suprised. I took my precautions to stay away from those areas.

Super dirty, dubious charges, musty smell and cat urine in the room, the bathroom had a water leak, the breakfast was horrible, the coffee creamer was expired, they lied about the room rate and charged double taxes, Horrible hotel!!!!

Air conditioner was making loud sounds, we had to turn it off to sleep. We were by the door to go outside and it would slam, it woke us up. Lots of noise. The shower and bed were good. It worked but we won't be staying there again

Very comfortable and quiet hotel near Texas Tech stadium. The rooms and decor could use an upgrade but the beds are comfortable and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and made rounds each day to ask if we needed fresh towels.

The hotel itself is fine and does the job for a decent price. But the mattress was possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on in my entire, well-traveled life! I spent half the night sleeping in the accent chair. Not ideal!

Older hotel, but rooms were nicely remodeled. Only complaint is the TV/cable. TV is cheap brand (Sceptre) and takes forever to go change channels..to make it worse, half the channels are blacked out. If they upgrade the TV/cable, it would be 5 stars for me.

I would venture to say this building has been there for a long time. They have certainly made updates and it isn't bad, it just smells like an old motel. It was clean but the AC unit had a hard time regulating the temp, and likely needs to be cleaned- which would help the stagnant air odor.

Staff was very accommodating with the late check in. Once we arrived in the room it was very humid. Turned the AC down but it didn’t do anything about the humidity in the room. Sheets, pillows, furniture and walls felt wet. Woke up with clothes soaking wet, wet hair and suitcases felt wet.

I tried to cancel this reservation and go elsewhere as prices evened out over the weekend. But it was too late to do so. The hotel appears to be not that great. Our room however was clean and okay. Facilities are pretty dated, and based on reviews and what we saw, it really depends on the room you get. We stayed Friday, a day where the manager said they had 15-20 extra rooms open compared to Saturday. So we think they put us in one of the better rooms. Hotel staff was not very knowledgeable of shuttle details, and were hard to understand. Heavy accents and no articulation. I’m sorry to say that, but it was true. The elevator sounds like it was gonna come crashing down. Overall, we were fine and our room we stayed in felt clean. Like I said, the reviews aren’t lying, it’s a gamble on how your experience will be based off of the room you get!

Female manager at checkin is a miserable person. She was very abrupt and not friendly. She was the same about 3 weeks ago. I don’t think she has a personal problem at home. I just think she hates her job. I am not staying for free. I am paying for a room therefore I expect her to pretend to be nice.

the staff was hard to work with i had made the arrangements 2 weeks before we arrrived and she wasn't willing to put us in rooms together. we stayed 2 differnt weekends and both times the desk clerk wasn't willing to help. we will never stay at this property again.

My mother and I were in Lubbock for her sister's cancer surgery. This hotel is very convenient to Covenant Hospital. The room was roomy, clean & we were able to get to the room conveniently through a side door. We were initially concerned that we would hear the traffic, since the hotel is located next to the service road, but we never heard any traffic. The breakfast was nice to start the day. Hot waffles, eggs,sausage & biscuits as well as cereal, muffins, yogurt and bread to make toast. Also, there is a Dollar Tree right across the street to purchase any items that might be needed. Our key did not work when we returned to the room the 2nd night, not sure why? But the front desk took care of that with no problem. If we are in town again, we will stay here again.

Everything was average but for the price point average is what i expected. What I didnt expect was how bad breakfast was. The hot food was cold, eggs potatoes and sausage, the potatoes still frozen. I informed the staff hopefully they get that corrected. A plus was the bar on the 2nd floor, if you want some place to have a drink or 2 in the evening. Bar staff was cool and drink prices are average. Close to a few small restaurants and a dollar tree next door. We all shop at dollar tree so thats a plus.

Convenience to Texas Tech, hospitals, 24 hrs market place. Dollar store across street. Pool and bobble spa just needs cleaning up. Water color is green instead of clear blue. Breakfast was good. Sausages just need to be cooked crispy brown, they looked pale and stale. We thought this hotel has only few guest when we checked in, but this morning parking lot was full.
