I didn't feel particularly safe. Many undesirable characters stay at the motel. Looks like it's becoming more and more like a welfare motel from the past when I stayed there. I was afraid my car would get broken into and my belongings robbed. I'm a snowbird from NJ traveling with a cat from NJ on my way to Florida for the winter. I chose Motel 6 because of their pet policy. I always stay there because it's my halfway point. May have to rethink for next year.

Dark and scary parking. I am not an easily frightened person but it was people who have pitbulls and issues. I was safe obviously I'm writing this! But I would have been happier somewhere else. I killed 3 cockroaches. Bed was clean. Room was old and cracked walls and floors.

Main door would stick ever time, had to nearly kick our way in. Website offered “newly remodeled rooms, very pretty”. Plaster peeling off the walls. Holes in walls. Old paint. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Bathtub filled with water while showering, took 40 minutes to drain. Bugs coming in around door & ac. Bugs in bathtub, floor, beds, crawling across dresser. Ugh 😑 Constant yelling between staff & a few people a few doors down. Lots of foul language. Front desk staff was courteous and pleasant. Nice washers & dryers & 1 nice ice machine. This is definitely our last stay at a Motel 6 after using them for years.

Upon arriving we saw a man out in the parking lot picking up a soda can and paper on the grounds . I said hello and was greeted with a smile and a very welcoming response . It turns out it was the owner of the property and he has just purchased the property only a month ago . I know this motel 6 has not gotten the best reviews in the past but I’m here to say that was the past and they are renovating this place . I felt very safe there as it was lit up very well and brand new surveillance cameras everywhere. Though the pool was not open yet there was a crew working at the pool area . Looks like it’s going to be an amazing place to enjoy an afternoon poolside as it is a huge pool with plenty of space for 30 plus pool chairs and tables . I can’t wait to come back when pools open . I’m glad my wife and I got to meet Herschel the owner . We were so amazed how accommodating he was. We will be back

The hotel is a great value for the money. My wife and I stayed there with two dogs and there are no extra pet fees. The room had been newly renovated, and everything worked and looked really well except the bathtub. The tub was old and had been repainted. The paint was peeling off and there were cigarette burns along the edge of the tub. The outside of the property definitely could use a major cleaner and I’m hoping that it will be in the renovation plan currently underway. Would I stay there again? Sure I would, knowing exactly what I’m getting for the $54 that it cost.

Well, the room & bed was clean. Pool closed & work being done (or who knows with the tape-off) on rooms at end. No shampoo or hairdryer so be sure you have one. At 1amish I got up to use bathroom & turned light on… that’s when I yelled out: cockroaches. Not like an infestation but still. They are coming from the cracks. Because it was late I didn’t bother with changing rooms as probably every room has the issue & I was leaving in am. I made sure my belongings were off floor & then slept with light on to keep the buggers away….. I knew what $50/nite meant but eesh…. Staff is nice… owner/management should invest in a some roach spray at a minimum & spray cracks (if you’re not going to fill in) after every stay….

The rooms itself were pretty decent but the floors in my room look like they haven't been mopped in quite a while. Bed was decent. Bathroom was decent. But those floors were in pretty bad condition. I walked around in my white socks after taking off my shoes cause my feet hurt and within seconds/Steps my socks were filthy.

The price was good. The large screen TV was unexpected. As was the huge mirror. The drapes and spread were attractive. The cockroach was not appreciated. The tub was stained. The ceiling tile in the toilet are had a large black area -- mold?? The floor felt sticky in spots.

It was a complete disaster, the mattresses were ripped, fitted sheets didn’t fit to even try to cover the rips, i killed 3 roaches trying to turn the air on, the sinks were stained the toilet had black rings around it the tub had black rings in it as well, there was a weird odor, the front door had a hole in the bottom right corner big enough for a small animal to come or or even for a creep to stoop and peep through, literally never experienced anything like that in my life.

We did not like anything at this property, it's an old facility that is neglected by its owners, roaches, unsafe door latch to secure the room, low water shower pressure that was corrected after they contacted the manager, no facility staff on property. Mattress sheet to small keeps bunching up, bath towels the size of large hand towels. I would not recommend to anyone even if a freee stay.

The staff were very nice. It did not seem safe. Also the ceiling had a huge crack in it. The door did not close completely and the extra lock did not lock all the way. The was a german cockroach in the shower the next morning. The sheets and bedding were clean and the staff did the best with what they had to work with.

For the money you can't beat it, the model and area has a bad reputation but I seemed to have a good stay. Updated smart TCL TV mounted, ascent bed lighting (something even the big expensive places do not have most of the time). Don't believe all the hype, save you some money or go pay triple for the same old bed somewhere else.

The pictures on the website certainly do not match the reality of this hotel. The rooms are partially renovated with a new bed and have all the amenities like a fridge and the sink and vanity have been updated. The bathtub was stained and we didn’t want to use it. It is very noisy as it is close to a major road. We didn’t sleep well.

Check in was great!! they got us into the room very early which we appreciated as we were on the way to the race. The room was clean but there was definite mold issues. the bed super comfy. as for the property it is an extended stay hotel so there was some shady residents around the building. its good for a night while passing thru. But i cant tell you how great the front desk was!! they were the true star of the show. I would stay again for a night during race time.

They couldnt find my reservation. The gentleman at the desk was kind and friendly, so i patient with him. He had to book a whole new reservation. When i went to the room, it was deplorable, I could tell that someone had dog(s) before, as the smell was overwhelming, the bed especially. It was late ans i only would be there for a few hours, so sat up on a chair until day break, then checked out.

When i went to the room, it was deplorable, I could tell that someone had dog(s) before, as the smell was overwhelming, the bed especially. It was late ans i only would be there for a few hours, so sat up on a chair until day break, then checked out.

we checked into the hotel. The attendant was nice. We went around the corner of the hotel. We saw at least 15 rowdy people drinking wine out of a paper bag when we got out of our car they came over to the car and asked for a money handout. The scene was very scary. It felt like we were surrounded by a gang we got back into the car immediately went back to the clerk at the hotel and we told her we couldn’t stay. There was too dangerous for us and we didn’t feel safe. She said she understood and she said she refunded our money. This is one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had checking into a motel. It was like a war zone.

I didn't feel particularly safe. Many undesirable characters stay at the motel. Looks like it's becoming more and more like a welfare motel from the past when I stayed there. I was afraid my car would get broken into and my belongings robbed. I'm a snowbird from NJ traveling with a cat from NJ on my way to Florida for the winter. I chose Motel 6 because of their pet policy. I always stay there because it's my halfway point. May have to rethink for next year.

Dark and scary parking. I am not an easily frightened person but it was people who have pitbulls and issues. I was safe obviously I'm writing this! But I would have been happier somewhere else. I killed 3 cockroaches. Bed was clean. Room was old and cracked walls and floors.

Apparently this hotel is a local hotspot for drugs . I felt very unsafe given there were people posted on the corner of the building and peeping out as I left. I stayed one day. Did not come out of my room after seeing that and then left the very next day. I would not recommend. The locks on the door of some rooms were not well secured

Looks are deceiving. Pictures online made it look like a clean and nice area. We showed up to the property and checked in and once we got around the building to our room there was a group of people fighting in the parking lot and doing drugs. We immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a refund. The staff was super friendly and understanding and refunded our money and apologized for the inconvenience. This was a race weekend, so it put us in a bad spot as everywhere was booked up and we had to go 45 minutes away just to find somewhere to stay.

The pictures on the website certainly do not match the reality of this hotel. The rooms are partially renovated with a new bed and have all the amenities like a fridge and the sink and vanity have been updated. The bathtub was stained and we didn’t want to use it. It is very noisy as it is close to a major road. We didn’t sleep well.

Where do I start. I've been in 1*5 for the last week ! The staff are SO friendly I enjoy spending my money here and the restaurant next door tops it off ! Also I enjoy the smart TV in the rooms cause we love YouTube and Netflix 😊 I do approve and suggest them as a stay !

The shower was dirty and there were cobwebs above the bed. I asked for another room and the front desk attendant said that's how the shower is made but I know dirt stains. I was moved to another room and the shower was even worse but I was so tired I went to the store and got something to clean the shower myself, needless to say I won't be staying again. The only good part was the food downstairs at the buffet.

It was an okay place. Thry offered room service. But never got room service. Looks like they maybe doing some renovation there. They offered room service. But never came to clean the room. There was the smell of pot smome coming from the next room. The room was okay. Not to clean. But it was okay for the trip that it was needed for since we didnt have to stay in the room just to sleep.. Definitely wont be staying there again.

There were roaches in the room as soon as we opened the door. Roaches in the bathroom. Cigarette burns in the bed linens and the bathtub. It was a quick over night stay (we arrived 1:30 in the morning and were on the road again by 6 a.m.) as we headed south but I would never stay there again!
