Hotel was in the process of renovating. BUT the new updated rooms are wonderful. It was clean, large rooms, and friendly staff. The hotel complimentary breakfast far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.

Oddly The doors to each room facing the hallways need repainting!! (At least on 3rd floor) Bed not so comfortable. Nice breakfast and staff. Very clean and bright.

Property is not well kept. Very old and outdated. Needs some serious renovation. Stains all over the floor and sofa. Bed was very uncomfortable and broken in. It was like there is a dent in the middle. Doors did not lock properly , so anyone could walk in. Our door was jamming all the time to just get into the room. Wifi was not working well. Overall disappointed especially considering the price we paid

We have stayed here several times over the years without any issues. This was actually the 3rd year straight so I’m very familiar with the place. While the staff was beyond great and helpful there were issues in the rooms we had. While I can’t say enough good things about the helpful staff and their willingness to go above and beyond to fix the issues I also will not be staying there again. The problem is the property needs work. The 4th floor has been renovated and is fine so request that floor if possible.

Everything was just so dirty. Stains all over the couch, splatters of stuff on the doors. All the floor were sticky. So sticky your shoes would get stuck. Appliances didn't work. The pool was filthy even though it had just been closed for hours to be cleaned. It was murky and full of hair and band aids. The sheets and towels appeared clean but everything else was really gross. Really disappointing.

Pool had dirt on the bottom but we still went in and ejoyed the heat! Room was excellent other than noise in hallways with doors slamming, talking and barking animals when people came to rooms during the evening. staff was very friendly and helpful. REAL break food was a treat and not just lousy "continental". Will recommend to others.

The sheet had blood stains on them and when we called to request the sheets to be replaced. We was told the the room service was closed and the ground keeper had to bring them up. He stated that he did not know how to make beds so he left them thrown on. We had to wait two days for clean towels and body wash to be replaced. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The staff was excellent. But the lock was not working for the room we booked so we had to switch rooms. The room was not clean…at all. Food has been spilled in fridge and not cleaned out. Floor was sticky. Carpet not vacuumed and stains on carpet and furniture. The smell of the room was terrible! Someone definitely was a heavy smoker

Room was probably the dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in. Trash can in kitchen was overflowing and hadn’t been emptied prior to us checking in. Bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned in months; dust and pubic hair piled in all corners. Couch in living area covered in stains and hair. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

If I could have left the property and not have to worry about getting reimbursed I would have. The room/hotel was very outdated. The rooms were not clean..dirt in all the corners and the baseboards. The bathroom sink drained slowly. The bed was AWFUL!! You could feel the springs and the sheets were a dingy gray..definitely not crisp and white. The pillows smelled like the hundreds of people who slept on them before me..apparently they do not launder the pillows ever! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

I love the room layout. We got the 2 bedrooms. However, it was not entirely clean. I found some hair on the floor in multiple places. Furniture is really old. It has better price that other place on the football weekend.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of dining options in immediate area. Room was large and was able to open window for fresh air. Beds are not good, new mattresses are needed for main bed and sofa bed.

The constant slamming of doors was above any other hotel I've stayed at. The hotel is in need of updated furniture. We found crushed potato chips under the footstool when we moved it. There is no way this hotel should be a 9 out of 10. I highly recommend reading all the negative reviews before booking here. I only booked based upon the 9 rating and read the rest of the reviews after getting there and seeing the room's condition. The front desk staff was nice though. And so was the staff serving breakfast.

We loved the set up of the rooms - 2 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and the rooms were separated by the living room / kitchen area. Perfect for 4 of us who didn't want to sleep in the same room. The kitchen was pretty complete. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good. We stayed here during a family visit and would be happy to stay here again.

My stay was just as bad as last year. I gave it another try this year and regret it. The hotel has gone down severly since first opening. I had to switch rooms due to the terrible state of the first room that I was given and it was not what i reserved. One of the managers would not budge on helping assist me with booking the room that i originally reserved. Once they charged me significantly more than my original quote, i found my room subpar. The shower had a crack in it, the toilet rocked backed and forth, no pots and pans as promised, ice maker took forever to produce ice, old sponge for what dishes were in the kitchen area, kitchen garbage can was dirty, furniture run down, closet door in bedroom did not slide with ease and was in fact broken, they provided 3 towels, but only one handtowel and one wash cloth and one remote for two tvs. I stayed because it was my bday weekend and I had already planned this day and had people coming. I wont ever stay here again!

The room was super clean and nice .it was more like an apartment..only thing I must say is check out time was 11am the housekeeper started to came into our room at 10:05 am we weren't dressed and had to frantically yell that we were still in there. Also I got charged $20 for something that has not been explained to me yet ...so not sure what that about because we barely used anything in there. The staff I did meet were very pleasant and helpful.

This was the first leg of our trip. We were pleasantly SURPRISED how tasty and varied the breakfast was. I wanted to have more than I needed. Good thing we were there three nights so I could (eventually) enjoy it all! Room comfy. Service great. Friendly and accommodating staff. (Hubby is GF) Second leg was at the Aria in Las Vegas. This was an invitation we couldn’t turn down because we were told the Arai is a luxury hotel. Okay. I’ll go there on the way home for a free two night stay. Luxury? VERY disappointed, considering I’d just stayed at the Residence. Hair in the shower. Dirty sink. TV remote didn’t work. The fancy electronic curtains worked sporadically. Really? No thank you. I’d stay at the Residence every time before I’d stay at the aria again. Kudos to you.

I liked the stay due to cleanliness of the room and enough space for our family of four. I came to visit SV Temple and this hotel is nicely located near to the place and convenient. The free breakfast is routine and it’s ok. The front desk checkin lady was nice and the checkin was smooth. I will come back again.

We had a family emergency and plans changed. Needed to find a place to stay and chose Residence Inn last minute. Our stay, which got extended, was pleasant considering our circumstances. The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was hot and fresh with everything from eggs, to fruit,to pastries and hot coffee and tea. Will stay here again on next visit.
