A very modern and up to date hotel. Location was perfect. Only negative was no place to pull up or 'in', while checking in. Husband had to drive around while I went in in to check in and find out where to park ( pay lot across the street) that was a first for us. Very pleasant staff!

Overall the hotel was good enough for our one-night stay. We found the bed to be too hard, but that's obviously a personal choice. The bathroom wasn't perfectly clean. And the parking situation is not ideal (across the street in an open paid lot that didn't offer the usual hotel amenity of coming and going and paying at the end of the stay). There's also not really a covered place to unload at the hotel.

This hard been the worst stay in a hotel. They have the most confusing check in process. You pull up to the hotel thinking you park on-site. Only to be met with a sign to park across the street. You’re now trapped basically on a sidewalk trying to back out on a very busy street. Parking across the street states $15 however you’re paying $25.00. There is no come and go so you pay each time you leave. I was turned away from parking 3 times. Calls to the front desk where not helpful. Staff was not friendly when actually checking in. Room was nice but bed was so hard I slept on the couch. The heater in the room make a horrible loud noise constantly. Staff did nothing as they were fully booked. Tried the bar for dinner. What a joke. One bartender to handle 30 people at a time. Had to keep walking away to go to the kitchen. I counted 11 people leave. Food choices were slim and overpriced. I will gladly pay more to go somewhere else next time.

Nice property. We upgraded to a “city view” room and were originally put on the second floor with a view of a tree top. We were given a room on the sixth floor that was better. You will have to pay to park at this property. Twenty Five dollars for anything over twelve hours, and no in and out privileges. The hallways smelled of Marijuana and the carpet was coming up in several places outside of our room. The room was clean bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Be prepared to meet some sketchy characters outside that were wandering around later in the evening. No visible security on the first floor. You will need a room key to get in the doors after 11pm and all times to get to the floors with a room.

It was clean and staff friendly. They need to do better with parking, having to pay every time you go in and out is ridiculous and the other lots are too far and didn’t feel safe walking to the hotel at night

This place is a bit rough around the edges. The downstairs entrance attracts homeless people looking for shelter. It needs a permanent employee to stay there near the elevators. Also, my room was technically cleaned but they didn't wipe the dirty counters, didn't vacuum the floors, and didn't replace the paper coffee cups for the following morning. Definitely not worth the price. Stay across the street at the Courtyard.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was super sweet and I'll happily book a stay again! The only complaint is that the bathroom door does not have a lock (sliding frosted glass door), the shower drain clogged extremely easily, and the shower door kept sliding open so water got everywhere.

The AC is a beautiful and well maintained hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. It was quiet and comfortable and I loved the walk-in shower. Only thing to be aware of is there is no parking officially at the hotel. Most people, if they can’t find a street spot in the cultural district or strip district, will have to use the paid public lot across the street.

The lobby is on the top floor, which had a great view. There is parking across the street but it's not associated with the hotel. There's a great coffee place around the corner. The room was clean and modern.

This is one of those “European style” hotels with minimalistic features. The food is excellent - loved the breakfasts. The room is spacious and comfortable. My only quibble is the lack of towel holders and the small size of drawers and hanging space. Challenging if you’re staying a week like I was.

Excellent! Parking is easy. The DLCC is across the street. The Terminal (yummy food) is just down the street. The hotel is clean. Mostly quiet, you can hear others as they walk by. Rooms are small but look and feel nice. I'd happily stay again.

I paid extra for the city view. What I got was a view of two parking lots. I went to the front desk to inquire but all they said was that that was the city view and didn't give me a refund for the extra money I spent on the city view.

This location is always a go-to because of location to family and downtown. Pittsburgh is an extremely walkable city (in the city center region) so ideal locale for most of the Strip District and even PPG Paints arena. Addicted to coffee from shop on ground floor. Prefer modern styling for appearance of cleanliness; no carpeting on bedroom flooring (a plus for me) and reasonably comfortable beds.

I was given misinformation about the parking situation. I was told that I could park in the public lot across the street. I was told that the fee was based on how long you were there but from 12 hours on it was $25. It was also mentioned that due to location there was no need to use one’s car while there, implying that if I didn’t leave and come back the maximum I would be charged was $25 for the duration of my stay. I was parked there for approximately 48 hours and was charged $50. The $25 rate applies to hours 12-24 so each full day of parking cost $25. With that being said it is the most convenient option, I would just have appreciated a more accurate breakdown of the fees.

The AC Pittsburgh was a uniquely modern hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and most modern in-room conveniences like wifi, USB charging, flat screen TVs, and other details. Unfortunately, unloading on a busy street when you arrive can be treacherous, the staff is not particularly helpful or welcoming, no complimentary breakfast, and parking isn't clearly explained. For the price, I may have expected more. It is a true self serve operation but worked out for one night. If I was staying longer, I would look elsewhere.

We were in town for the TS concert. They had a fun set up full of champagne, photo props, friendship bracelets and balloons. The staff were AMAZING and made it such a great experience for our group. Bret at the front desk was amazing, helped us check in early and surprised the girls with some VIP Taylor swag in the room!! Our stay here made an amazing weekend even better. We will not stay anywhere else!!

The property is in a great location. My main issue was that my room was right next to the fitness center. There was nothing done to sound-proof so every time someone worked out, we could hear and feel every weight being set down. It is a 24/7 facility so this would happen late at night and early in the morning. This should really be addressed. Also, I requested housekeeping when I checked in online, when I checked in at the front desk, and then by phone to the front desk. They still did not come and when I called again they said I have opted out of housekeeping. I think it is really poor that housekeeping services have been reduced- and 3 nights stay is too long to go. For this, I am not likely to return.

Great staff, Mikayla at the front desk was knowledgeable, professional, and explained things very well such as location of our event, ways to get there, amenities available at the hotel etc... Only downside, which was no fault of the hotel, was the streets, alleys etc surrounding the property was dirty, litter, but it's expected from a bigger city.. Will absolutely return.
