We had a very nice stay. Parking was there but full. We parked on the curb in the parking lot.

Close to SU, friendly staff, gated parking, and very comfortable beds

The staff at both the front desk, bar/restaurant were excellent. Our room was clean. We were happy with the ease of parking. Room service was great! We will stay again if in the area!!

The hotel was very convenient to Syracuse University. Walking distance (about 10 minutes). It was a 3 star type place with very few amenities. If you just need a place for a day or so to visit a college student it works fine. The staff was very slow - while friendly - very slow. They lock doors at 8:00 which isn't convenient for door dash deliveries and they don't have room service. Night check-in person was a bit rude as reported by my spouse. It's as I rate a 2-3 on a scale of 5 kind of hotel. It definitely needs a refurbishment - old carpet, old everything.

Great location. Walkable to Syracuse U. Great lobby staff. Beds comfortable. But walls very thin. You can hear everything. One of the nights - some kids were having a party in a room. The staff did break it up - but the noise was loud from 10-11pm. Otherwise a great stay. Free parking also a perk!

Wonderful hotel with a great location next door to campus. Free parking, cute bar and friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely return.

Architecturally interesting boutique hotel retrofitted into an old temple. Rooms are comfortable and have modern renovations and amenities. Parking is adequate and free, and it's about as close as you can stay to Syracuse University.

We stayed while touring the college campus. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable and campus is a short walk.

The pluses: the rooms are spacious. Most of the staff is helpful and competent. The minuses: despite that spacious rooms, the bathrooms are small and the half-glass showers create wet floors. The closets have curtains, not doors. Some room require you to carry your luggage down 1/2 a flight of stairs. Our shower had a mold growth that might have require laser ablation to remove. Very limited breakfast option. Would not return

The rooms have no vibes, dull semi-dirty carpets on the floors and grey/white walls. I Was placed on the ground floor, in the basement.Looking out through the window in my room. The lawn outside was at my chest high. Fitness room was super tiny and in lack of most equipment. If this wasn’t enough? The room I was given was not sound proof at all. You could hear people talking outside, when they passed your door on the way to the fitness room, early in morning, lunchtime or later on the day/evenings.Person that made the breakfast was rude. Never before have I experienced such rudeness and lack of positive energy. The body language and Demeanour of that person was a shock. Lacking of anything that has to do with a positive service attitude or knowledge about food intolerance that people have. Including me. I ordered an allergy friendly breakfast. 3 sunny side up eggs, 3 slices bacon and one avocado., I was served scrambled eggs? 3 tiniest slices of bacon most likely served on a Hilton and 1/4 of an avocado. Price? There cinema tickets. When I informed I didn’t t ordered scrambled eggs. Person replied to me with a Negative attitude. This sums up my stay at The Tapestry Collection and this is Hilton 2025. I will never stay here again.

WIFI is very fast

Every time I walk the floorboards squeak. I could also hear the people I stairs and anyone who passed my door from outside.

Stayed here multiple times and usually no issues. I booked a king and was given a queen bed. Room was quite smaller than others I've stayed in there. The fridge began loudly humming at 5 am, and then in the morning i woke up to an icebox of a room as the thermostat had reset to 60! I would stay here again but make sure you don't get this room.

This hotel looks like it’s going to be a great stay; the lobby and restaurant are impressive. We ate in the restaurant for an early dinner and breakfast and both were very good. However, our rooms were strange. We booked 2 suites, one for our teenage son and one for ourselves. One room was not ready for about an hour and a half (several hours after the check in window opened) so we gave the first room to our child while we had a couple of cocktails. When our “suite” was finally ready, it was much much smaller, quite cramped, and in fact the bed seemed like a strange size. Definitely not a King which is what we sleep in at home. In the morning, I asked the staff if it was possible that this was not a king bed. I was told that it was listed as a king room, and long story short, after basically being told I was crazy by the manager (!!), we ended up going upstairs with the maintenance man so he could measure the bed. Lo and behold, for some reason the bed was NOT a king, and not a queen…totally random size. I have no idea what sheets they use on this thing but the staff were just as confounded as we were. The manager on duty absolutely should have apologized for his snotty & incredulous attitude, except he did not apologize nor offer any concession whatsoever. PS you have to pay for parking, which is ridiculous because the parking lot is the size of a state fair, but 85% empty during summer program check in at Syracuse.

I asked for a quiet room and it’s obvious zero effort was put into that request (even though I reserved weeks ago). We were on the first floor, a few doors from the gym, and in an area of heavy foot traffic (near the lobby / breakfast area, by staff elevator when I expressly said don’t put us near elevators, etc). You can hear every step from the room above via loud creaking. The heating is clearly malfunctioning, emitting an abnormal loud whirring much of the time. The TV doesn’t work. The room has zero outlets by the desk area or on the one side of the bed, and the trash cans are tiny. One of my most disappointing Expedia bookings.

Unable to sleep during our stay. The floors were extremely creaky. Poor sound insulation.

I recently stayed at the Hilton while visiting my daughter at college, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was shockingly rude. The room I was given (#243) was extremely disappointing. Although it was on the second floor, it felt like a basement—the only window was high up and let in almost no light. It felt more like a dungeon than a $250 per night hotel room and looked nothing like what was shown on Expedia. I politely asked if I could be moved to another room that matched what I booked. The front desk lady bluntly said, “No, this is your room,” and told me it was my problem for using a third party. She told me to complain to Expedia and said they were fully booked, though her tone made it clear she had no intention of helping me even if there were other rooms. I felt uncomfortable, especially in front of my daughter. I had hoped this would be a special visit—not one where we felt like a burden. During the stay, she ignored us completely—no greetings, no eye contact. At checkout, she acted cold again. I asked for a receipt due to breakfast charges, and she said it would be emailed, refusing to show me my charges. I still haven’t received it. I felt unwelcome, discriminated and dismissed by someone who represents a major hotel chain. The location is perfect for visiting campus, but the staff’s behavior ruined the stay. Hilton needs to do better.

Parking was easy. The hotel was nice. Walls are thin and we could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us. It’s near the university so that was nice. The restaurants around campus are just Ok; nothing great, just OK. The staff was really nice. The coffee and tea in the morning was a nice touch. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for my daughter’s university tour of Syracuse University. Very convenient to SU and hospitals. I will stay again when they’re not booked all the time lol.

Nice hotel. We stayed at the suite and it was big and comfortable. The staff was kind. The breakfast is basic with few choices but coffee was good!

Pleasant staff. Super clean and nice. Breakfast yummy. Huge bowl of oatmeal with fresh fruit. Free shuttle to airport. Close to Syracuse U! Thank you.

Nothing fancy and minimal breakfast menu, but clean rooms and comfortable beds. Perfect for Syracuse visits since only a 5 min walk to campus.

A unique hotel walking distance from Syracuse University. The room was very clean and came across as new in every way. While the staff was very friendly, I got the vibe that we may have walked in during a shift change while greeting guests was not necessarily top priority. But once I approached a staff member, I was warmly welcomed. One big thing to be aware of is that breakfast is NOT included in the room rate as indicated on Expedia’s listing. A staff member told me that they have not served a continental b’fast for at least six months (food IS available to purchase).

I made reservations on June10, for July 21 - 24. I made reservations here for my Granddaughter, wife and myself. She was scheduled to do her clinicals at Syracuse Upstate Hospital. I chose this hotel because of location and breakfast included. Her days were 12 hrs., and I wanted her to have a quick good breakfast before she went in. There were two other hotels just as close, however they had restaurant breakfast, and I knew she would be in a hurry. The web page stated complimentary breakfast, and even showed pictures of what you would expect a nice breakfast buffet at the Hilton to consist of. I have photographs of this ad. When we went down for breakfast the first morning, I saw a menu stating Butter Toast $10, Oatmeal $10, etc. When I inquired to desk clerk where was the complimentary breakfast, he stated “we don’t do that anymore”. I then stated that was my main reason for this booking. He said “Web site must not be changed yet, we don’t do that anymore” and walked away. Now if this was not enough to spoil this reservation, a preschooler wearing crocs was jumping off the bed, and stomping around the room next door all day and into the night, affecting my Granddaughter trying to do her studies. When I complained to desk clerk, he stated that there was nothing he could do. I asked him if he could move them. He said no, because they were not the problem. He said I would have to move, because I was the problem for complaining. Obviously this employee lives upside down world.
