The lady who received us was friendly and helpful. The room we had had a patio and access to the backward. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Quick stop and was at the property less than 12 hours. It’s an old house/mansion from the late 1800’s, could be haunted, but close walking distance to the downtown/waterfront area. Didnt stay for breakfast - didn’t fit my diet (pancakes). Easy check-in/check-out. Can hear every other room. Parking in lot for only 4 cars. All else in the street but not a big deal. Plenty if available street parking.

This beautiful Inn was everything i needed. I was in Napa for event that began before check-in. I made arrangements with the Inn to check-in early so i could be on my way. At night, it was peaceful and i didn't hear other guests or cars passing by. My soaking tub was perfect for unwinding in my cozy room. In the morning, I was greeted by the friendliest hostess who offered me pancakes made from scratch with fresh fruit! And coffee! I really do wish I could've stayed another night. Guess this means I'll look forward to my next stay. Do know that as an historic building, there are very steep and narrow staircases. There are however lots of handrails installed.

Wonderful and historic hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Rustic and modern vibes on property and rooms. Accommodations with spacious deluxe room. Patio in the back. Refrigerator in room but no microwave. Dining area is small but not crowded as this as a very intimate Bed and Breakfast style. Breakfast was quaint and just enough to get your day started. Options for breakfast available. Parking is very limited and first come first serve otherwise you can park on street around the corner (plenty of street parking) very close to fast food places, Target, Raley’s, urgent care and gas. Very romantic and quiet for couples

Fun little house right near downtown Napa. Was within walking distance and had some spacious rooms. They are great at communicating with you about reservations. They will reach out to confirm a few days prior. Host was amazing and the breakfast was well above expectations. Definitely not a continental, good few dishes that leave you full for the morning. House is over 100 years old and you can hear people moving around, like any old house. Left window open and realized that it was a very traversed road. Loud car traffic until at least midnight, just use the AC if you’re hot. Did not realize that the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet until the morning when leaving. Not sure if it was forgotten or if a mattress protector is the only bottom sheet. Limited parking on property. Only 3 spots on side but ample street parking. Large vehicles beware, the driveway is narrow!

It was the worse hotel stay we've had in a few years. The room was incredibly small, although that wasn't our biggest problem. I have sciatica and have to use a cane to get around. We were put in the top floor with many stairs and railings that were very loose which might have been dangerous for me as i need to use them. No warning was given about this. There are only 3 parking spaces on the property so we had to park on the street a ways away. Our bathroom had very, very low water pressure so it took forever to complete our showers and to make matters worse the hot water kept fluctuating. Either it was too hot or when trying to balance it with the cold water, then it became all cold. The toilet paper holder was broken and the toilet paper was put in a basket on the floor. There were holes in the bathroom wall and door and were very plastered over very sloppy. And finally, the maid walked in on me just as i got out of the bathroom and was naked, even though the do not disturb sign was on the door outside. Maybe she got a thrill, who knows. So bviously, we wont be staying at this dump ever again.

We were only there one night, but it was very comfortable. I am a senior, so staying on the 3rd floor was a bit of a climb for me. The bed is a bit high, so hard to get on for me. Also, the coffee pot in the room didn’t work. The breakfast was amazing, as was the decor everywhere.

We stay at this hotel regularly when we go to Napa for medical appointments. Love the comfort, breakfast and beds are excellent! The stairs getting to the rooms are the only drawback but we’re willing to do that for such a nice Inn!

This was our first experience at a BnB. The building was showing its age. Bathroom too small but nice to have private. Windows dirty. Needs more color.Too many stairs for me. Hcap. Noisey. Started hammering before 8am. Upon arrival given wrong keys had to rush our dinner. Sorry we wanted to love this place but it was ok.

Hands down the best place I have ever stayed. Was nervous about staying at a bed and breakfast. This place was so unique. Beautiful character of the property with the 1800’s architecture. It was modern inside and very clean which is improtsnt to me. The stay was so friendly welcoming. The bedrooms are cozy and beds are very comfortable. In the morning they served a wonderful breakfast. Smooth check in and check out process.

This is an AMAZING property, custom-built as a wedding gift. Multi-floored, with a complex and interesting use of custom wood floors, walls and furniture. The classical furniture pieces were exceptional. The cleanliness was excellent and the room (#5) was comfy and accommodating. The only low rating I could state is the water pressure in the shower. At max volume, you had to run in circles under the slow drip of the water, to actually get a shower. Other than that, I love this facility.

Architecture is special - some lovely decor, but mixed with some modern or other styles, which is distracting. There are some areas of disrepair, but the property is a lot to have to maintain. It feels very warm and safe and in a great neighborhood, just minutes on foot from the heart of downtown.

I picked this place because some fool had previously rated it "wonderful." It was not. And it was definitely not worth what I paid for our one night stay. The Cedar Gables is an old, creaky house with minimum accommodations. Okay, the bed was comfy, but that's about the only positive I can come up with. Too many oddities to mention, but I will note we could hear every footstep echoing loudly in the hall (could they try a rug?) the shower was terrible (barely a drip) and there wasn't a towel rack or hook to be found. Heck, they didn't even provide a box of kleenex! And if you're looking for a plush robe to lounge in your overpriced room, you're in the wrong place. My girlfriend joked the Cedar Gables would make for a better haunted house. I will say that Tim the manager (and sole visible employee) was exceedingly nice, but his clothing and appearance was not so buttoned up clean - not a great first impression. Overall, this would be an okay place to stay if the price was half their current asking rate, but even then you'd be left wondering.

The air conditioner of the room was not working properly and we notice when was already latw at night and we were staying just one night. that was the only inconvenient. The rest was wonderful, very pretty, clean and the breakfast was wonderful and fel like a home cooked food, employee was very helpful and attentive. Will dtay again without any doubt.

Our bathroom had very, very low water pressure so it took forever to complete our showers and to make matters worse the hot water kept fluctuating. Either it was too hot or when trying to balance it with the cold water, then it became all cold. The toilet paper holder was broken and the toilet paper was put in a basket on the floor. There were holes in the bathroom wall and door and were very plastered over very sloppy. And finally, the maid walked in on me just as i got out of the bathroom and was naked, even though the do not disturb sign was on the door outside. Maybe she got a thrill, who knows. So bviously, we wont be staying at this dump ever again.

A lovely place with great staff and a huge breakfast included. Well located. Love the decor- lots of pretty swanky places to chill out. I had the BONZI room with king bed- the room was huge with fireplace, sitting area, chandelier in the bathroom!! My style!!

This is an AMAZING property, custom-built as a wedding gift. Multi-floored, with a complex and interesting use of custom wood floors, walls and furniture. The classical furniture pieces were exceptional. The cleanliness was excellent and the room (#5) was comfy and accommodating. The only low rating I could state is the water pressure in the shower. At max volume, you had to run in circles under the slow drip of the water, to actually get a shower. Other than that, I love this facility.

Wonderful and historic hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Rustic and modern vibes on property and rooms. Accommodations with spacious deluxe room. Patio in the back. Refrigerator in room but no microwave. Dining area is small but not crowded as this as a very intimate Bed and Breakfast style. Breakfast was quaint and just enough to get your day started. Options for breakfast available. Parking is very limited and first come first serve otherwise you can park on street around the corner (plenty of street parking) very close to fast food places, Target, Raley’s, urgent care and gas. Very romantic and quiet for couples

Charged us another $200 when we arrived because of a marketing error on their end where their third party apps to they would not allow us to put more than 2 people in the room for a Family Suite. They would not meet in the middle at all for the situation and were too afraid to speak to the manager. The next day they promised us at breakfast they would have the manager alleviate or speak to us to see what he can do and they never did anything. We had already paid $400 for a room for one night and we ended up having to pay $600. The tv and remote were partially broken and very hard to use.

The air conditioner of the room was not working properly and we notice when was already latw at night and we were staying just one night. that was the only inconvenient. The rest was wonderful, very pretty, clean and the breakfast was wonderful and fel like a home cooked food, employee was very helpful and attentive. Will dtay again without any doubt.

It was the worse hotel stay we've had in a few years. The room was incredibly small, although that wasn't our biggest problem. I have sciatica and have to use a cane to get around. We were put in the top floor with many stairs and railings that were very loose which might have been dangerous for me as i need to use them. No warning was given about this. There are only 3 parking spaces on the property so we had to park on the street a ways away. My second stay, you get a homemade breakfast, in the pretty dining area., and a juice coffee, tea bar set up..the people are warm , and it’s like staying in someone’s home. It’s a very nice area , of downtown Napa, lots of things to do nearby. The little hotels, b&b, give you a different experience than the bigger swag resorts. I love it!

Fun little house right near downtown Napa. Was within walking distance and had some spacious rooms. They are great at communicating with you about reservations. They will reach out to confirm a few days prior. Host was amazing and the breakfast was well above expectations. Definitely not a continental, good few dishes that leave you full for the morning. House is over 100 years old and you can hear people moving around, like any old house. Left window open and realized that it was a very traversed road. Loud car traffic until at least midnight, just use the AC if you’re hot. Did not realize that the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet until the morning when leaving. Not sure if it was forgotten or if a mattress protector is the only bottom sheet. Limited parking on property. Only 3 spots on side but ample street parking. Large vehicles beware, the driveway is narrow!

Architecture is special - some lovely decor, but mixed with some modern or other styles, which is distracting. There are some areas of disrepair, but the property is a lot to have to maintain. It feels very warm and safe and in a great neighborhood, just minutes on foot from the heart of downtown.
