Weasku Inn

Tucked in the woods, next to the river. Second time staying here, both times in a cabin (recommended). The property is close to grants pass and freeway access but far enough away. They have wine available during certain times of the day, an outdoor fire pit at 7 PM with complimentary cookies and smore's kit. Decent breakfast with lots of variety. I would recommend if you are passing through or have to go to Grants Pass.

Really nice place, with an afternoon heavy hors d'oeuvre reception, evening cookies, and good hot breakfast included. Comfortable room, bed was so high i couldn't get in it but they provided bed steps 😉. Beautiful grounds, firepit lit at night. Only downside was noise--it's an old building and sound carries but it didnt go on late.

This property was great with big clean rooms, comfortable bed, fresh baked cookies, fire pit to enjoy and even s’mores, and a breakfast in the morning! We needed more time here!

Then entire property was manicured while maintaining a log cabin ambiance. Classic wood & leather furnishings which had no signs of wear as if they were a day old. The hospitality touches were cozy with appetizers, fresh cookies, and fixin's for s'mores paced throughout the afternoon and evening. Wonderful porch, beautiful trees, large gas firepit, crushed stone walkways -- a perfect getaway.

The lodge is charming, rustic and well maintained. Grounds are immaculate. Staff were exceedingly nice. Enjoyed cocktails with appetizers on the back deck, and cookies and s’mores at night at the campfire. Only disappointment was river view from cabin which was obscured by vegetation.

Nice location not too far from Grants Pass. Very cozy and comfortable room in the lodge. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The evening refreshments were a nice touch and we enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace. Looking forward to going back in the summer months. Definitely a place we will stay when we visit this area.

Weasku Inn is so lovely and charming, I wish I lived closer so I could stay more often! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms and cabins are so cozy and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is always delicious and I love enjoying it out on the deck with a cup of coffee. The smores around the fire pit in the evenings is also so fun and such a nice added touch to the experience. I absolutely love this place and recommend to anyone driving through southern Oregon!

This was an extraordinary experience. Every detail is amazing. Some of my favorite things: ~Appetizers and wine bar, apps were plentiful and wine selection was local ~ Cookies, milk and personal smore packs with a wet wipe included! We sat at the fire and chatted with other visitors. Very pleasant! ~ Full breakfast with a chef was amazing There was literally nothing wrong this amazing stay. I love it and will return in winter

Room was beautiful and very clean.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was so nice. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the fireplace and wished we could have stayed longer. The lodge was great and the activities were a very nice surprise from cocktails to fresher baked cookies

Everything was top notch except our room was a little dusty.

We had an unfortunate arrival at Weasku Inn, checking in to a Riverfront Cabin Suite that looked clean at first glance and got dirtier and dirtier as we began to unpack. Upon finding an inexcusable mess in the bathroom of the room we'd be in less than 5 minutes, I called Front Desk and they promptly moved us to the room next door which was cleaner, but still in desperate need of a good, deep-clean. I tried not to look too closely during our 2-night stay but allowed myself a more critical eye upon packing for check out and was quite appalled. A dusting, new carpet that wasn’t stained, and a fresh coat of paint would be a great start. The bedding was also lumpy, but at least the sheets in our 2nd cabin weren’t stained. While riverfront, there are no views of the river (at least from Cabin 41). And no real maintained path to walk along the river. The grounds and the lodge are rustic and charming. Again, with a deep clean and some desperately needed updates (not for modernization's sake, but for cleanliness's sake) they could really have something special. For mobile limited folk, you’ll want to have front desk people assist you with check-in as there is a bit of a gravel walkway from where you park to the riverfront rooms. The free. breakfast is a nice touch as is the reception from 4:30-6:30 (no alcoholic drinks included in reception). A vegetarian option other than cold vegetables would be appreciated. We will not return due to cleanliness issues

The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The natural setting was beautiful and the evening cookies were delicious.

Cute cabin, nice linens and Aveda products. Carpet needs to be replaced and did have sugar ants in the bathroom.

Very cozy place to stay. Love the lodge and the history. Rooms are clean and warm. Nice fire in the main lodge with afternoon snacks and delicious chocolate chip cookies served in the evening.

Delightful little gem, though it has seen better days. The resort, the lodge, the cabins themselves are extraordinary and utterly charming. We loved the fireplace in our cabin and the in the main lodge room, and we loved the cookies and smores prepared by staff every evening. When I mean the lodge has seen better days, I mean that it was built before 1-5 was installed just on the other side of the Rogue River, so that, even though you can't see it, you can hear it. That's sort of a bummer. Also, while you can walk to the Rogue in two easy minutes down the path, you can't see it from your cabins, as the trees have since grown and they aren't allowed to cut them down (good?), so the view is of blackberries and wily oaks and pines. We'll be back, regardless of these minor points, as you can definitely feel the magic of this place in its prime.

Lovely lodge that has been updated and well maintained. Charm ooze’s throughout. Friendly staff. If you are assigned room # 1 or #2 be warned the road noise even with earplugs you won’t get restful sleep. Loud cars and trucks use Hiway 99 which is literally 60 feet away from the front of the lodge which these two room face

We stayed in a "River" queen cabin for our anniversary weekend. The "river" is technically accurate as they are the closest rooms to the Rogue River, but they are actually along a creek that runs in front of a wooded area before you get to the river (small distance, and can still hear the river) - just a small clarification. That said, the whole property is very quiet, peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast & appetizers they provide for free are way above the normal free breakfast hotels provide. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large, with the bed facing a pair of windows and door that led out onto a private balcony facing the creek/river and provided a nice peaceful setting and great view into the woods, while still providing privacy. There was a seating area in front of the fireplace in the room (which we didn't use because it was hot, but would LOVE in the winter or colder spring/fall evenings). The room had AC which was great for the warm weather. They have seating areas outside between the main lodge and the cabins, which were comfortable and relaxing, and a nice fire pit area off the side of the deck from the main lodge. Absolutely loved this place, and will definitely make return trips here in the future.

Loud, loud, loud! Cannot see the river, but you can hear I5 like it's right outside, which it is. Noise is manageable from within your room with the windows closed, but sitting on the deck is not relaxing. Folks there were really nice and the room was renovated and clean.

We stayed in riverfront cabin with great coveted porch. Only downside is river is not near enough to be seen and traffic noise from I-5 is what you hear from porch.

I was very pleased during my stay. I'm used to hotels and other sites having beautiful pictures but finding that they don't match reality. In the case of Weasku Inn, the pictures were all accurate, the Inn was just as beautiful as the pictures made it look. I stayed in a room in the main building, not in one of the cabins. My only suggestion t others is that if you are particularly sensitive to noise, not to choose the room on the street side of the building. There was a little bit if traffic noise in the evening and late morning. However, there was little traffic/noise overnight, so this wasn't really an issue. The staff was great, breakfast was very enjoyable and the evening cookies a pleasant suprise.

Loved the coziness of the entire lodge and room. Thoughtful touches such as lamps, a rocking chair (in the room!) and a coffee/tea bar as well as hot breakfast will ensure we stay there again when we’re out that way. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a street facing room and could hear the cars on the highway so ask for a different room if you’re sensitive to that.

Services and rooms were lovely. "Riverfront" cabin was more of a minimal creek. Loved the grounds and breakfast.

We love this place! We have been here three times before. We were bummed this time though as we paid a premium to have a cabin with a large jetted tub and a fireplace. The jets didn’t work in the bathtub and the gas fireplace worked for about 15 minutes before quitting. When I mentioned this at checkout the lady said “thank you I’ll be sure to tell the maintenance crew” I felt they could have handled the situation a little better. I also noticed that the guest computer in the lodge was out of order. It just felt like they aren’t keeping up with the place.

Everything was perfect. The staff was so accommodating and willing to help. Could not have asked for anything more :-) wonderful!

Beautiful property with a wonderful history. GREAT customer service and very friendly. My family and I were really impressed with Scott. Not only did he cook some yummy breakfast, but we needed a place for dinner and he recommended a pizza place in town, which everyone loved!

Unique lodge built in the 1920's with modern facilities where it counts but still with all the quaint features of the kind of tourist lodge that is an antidote to the always-the-same freeway chain hotels.

This is such an amazing place! It's historic and beautiful and comfortable. The staff is so caring and efficient, will help with anything you need. Great in the summer but winter is quiet. Sitting by the fireplace in the lodge is awesome!

Staff was very helpful and exceptionally nice. Property was very clean and peaceful. The perfect end to a day of traveling. Will definitely come back!

The property was beautiful and nostalgic. The staff were not super friendly. We got in around 8:30 pm and asked about places to eat. The person who checked us in was not helpful. He said he would have to look up places to go. It seems like that is something you should know?

It is a lovely old lodge that was restored beautifully. The rooms were comfortable, the hospitality was very nice providing appetizers with the option to purchase local wine or beer for happy hour and breakfast in the morning. My husband and I enjoyed a 3 mile walk along the dirt pathway outside of our cabin that followed an irrigation canal and also a lovely view of the river down the pathway about 1/2 mile from our cabin. We had dinner at a nice restaurant, The River’s Edge, just a few miles away, that offered outside dining with a great view of the river, live music, and good food and service. We will definitely come back.

A great historic site in a beautiful, relaxing, setting next to the Rogue River. The diversity of cabin options were perfect for a large family gathering. The daily amenities were amazing! Not only was there a tasty breakfast but also afternoon appetizers and drinks and warm chocolate chip cookies/s’mores every evening.

I love the Weasku Inn. It’s a cozy oasis right off I-5 and located right on the Rogue River.

Road noise is bad, need sound machines in the room

Beautiful property NEAR the Rogue River. Gravel paths and trees. Stayed in triplex cabin with large deck, fireplace, couch, table/ chairs, huge king bed. Nice bathroom. Good AC. Nice buffet breakfast in main lodge, the usual stuff for U.S. accomodations. Evening appetizers, wine, firepit, Adirondack chairs on lawn, outdoor tables. Be aware, you cannot SEE the river from this property. Its close, but trees and brush block the view.

In my 50 years of travel this is my absolute favorite place. It has rustic charm without being dilapidated or rundown. The rooms are comfortable spotlessly clean and have everything you would need. Oh I love the comfort of the bed! The breakfast is a full breakfast, search for several hours, and it is refurbished and Kept hot. There is a variety of Meals from day to day. There are heavy hors d’oeuvres in the afternoon followed by warm chocolate chip cookies and milk in the evening.

Everything was amazing. Location was beautiful and right on the river. Stayed in Walt Disney's room. Bed was very comfortable. Full breakfast in the morning, appetizers in the afternoon, and smores by the firepit in the evening. Staff was so accommodating! Couldn't have asked for more!

I love that not only do they have breakfast but a snack hour and cookie/ smoors hour. Its photos online dont do this gem justice.

The cabins are cozy and comfortable. Made for a great place to relax at the end of the day on the deck. Cookies in the evening were awesome. Breakfast was standard stuff but the taste was excellent. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back if staying in the area.
