Mansions on Fifth

Great historic mansion with a classic old school bar. Would definitely stay again

Loved staying at Mansions on 5th. The room was so charming and the staff was so friendly and helpful!

Great location - walkable to nice restaurants in Shadyside. Didn't ramp up prices during graduation/marathon weekend like most other hotels in Pittsburgh. Clean. Polite staff. Lots of character.

It's in a great location, close to CMU and Shadyside. It is an older historic building with lots of space in the lobby, which is charming. The room was clean and spacious. One observation is that the floor is uneven, but it did not bother us much.

Incredible Staff. A Special Place to say, but yet, there are tradeoffs, smaller rooms & beds, old creaky floors and thinner walls and less noise sealing on doors. Parking seemed limited without much of a back-up option. Street felt dangerous to pull out onto with sight triangle blocked. There was an elevator in the main building but I don't believe the 2nd building where we stayed had one. I don't know how much the elevator accesses. The site is hilly and uses gravel a fairbit. It seems like they host a fair number of events.
