Be sure to ask about pool availability. If there is an event, no pool for you as a guest. Overall great place for the family. Love the breakfast, staff overall good. Would come back.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of Jamaican food options. Gym was reasonably well equipped. Parking was easy.

The property has lots to offer it’s guests. Lots of dining options, a casino, a cafe, pool, lounge, and gym. Service staff was sweet and courteous. I had a very nice stay thank you!

Friendly staff, nice rooms, great breakfast, free secure parking, great bar, centrally located and has a casino. Always stay here when visiting Kingston and never been disappointed.

The hotel is lovely, very private and discrete. The food was amazing and the pool and gym was open 24/7 (loved that) . The casino was on the campus and the bar and lounge was perfect!

Great hotel but the beautiful pool area was closed three days in a row. It was our reason for staying there.

Wonderful hotel and staff, very comfortable stay and lovely location right by Devon house. Room was roomy and quiet. Secure parking. And most importantly, an excellent selection of Hampden Rums at the bar!

Hotel needs some upgrades with things such as an ironboard cover, sofa and towels. Ironboard cover didn't fit and was dirty, sofa dirty and towels frilling out. Breakfast was very good and staff was nice and customer service was good. Room was clean and decent overall.

I gave overall excellent because everything was indeed lovely, except for the grout in the shower stall in our room needs to be removed.

Room was not clean and front desk was giving us sheets to make bed ourselves, so they sent two man to buff and bam the room, was very disappointed because housekeeping came by and we left for half a day yk give them time to clean. Not going back to stay

, I was booked into room 201. It looked dated and depressing. The ac leaks water on the floor which I slipped in luckily I did not fall You would have a law suit on your hand,I reported it and they fixed it but only for one day . The shower cubicle had dirt and moulds between the tiles at the entrance Tiling of bathroom shower flooring must have being done by a cobbler. Bathroom sink tap need a good clean Wall paper falling off the wall in the bedroom. Then to make things sound system was allowed to blur out loud disgusting music until about 2am. We could hear every single world the DJ was saying. It was like we were present at the Pepsi costume party. my windows vibrating most of the time ,I have to turn the TV off because I could hardly hear it . The only thing I enjoy at Terra Nova is the breakfast the kitchen staff did a good job and also the severs . We were promised complementary cookie in the evenings we only get once after 14 days stay. The only thing we get complementary is two bottle of water is this a joke. There is no instant coffee we have a coffee maker which I don't know how to use I call room service when he come he did know how to use it either. I have to drive up to mega mart on Waterloo rd to buy instant coffee and milk We had call room service to get milk but have not received this .Shortage of clothes hanger in closet. only two to have up our coats.This is what we pay £2500.00 for two weeks. Well not again I would go to Pegasus and pay a bit more .

The person that checked us in was great, please give her a raise. On the other hand, the rooms were not fully cleaned and need a lot of attention. I was able to speak to a manager who took notes. She also stated the issues reported would be elevated to upper management.

The front entrance is far from welcoming. There is a big dirty red carpet at the front entrance. The lobby furnitures are extremely dirty. Mold is the air conditioner in the room I was assigned. Stained linen, dirty bathroom and the bathroom didn’t close. The sofa in the bedroom was stained and dirty. Would not recommend!

Cozy, comfortable and clean.

On reputation, I was expecting more from this hotel however, I was very very disappointed with what I actually experienced. My room was covered in mold that triggered my asthma. I’m appalled.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff very professional. However the hotel is obviously run down and not ready for service. I feel like I was cheated. The pool is dirty and the gym and equipment seems old and run down. I would have felt better if we were advised these ahead we’re out of use. But we were told the location of the gym and pool but and they knew we would be able to use them. This is false advertising. Please let guest know these areas are out of use or simply fix them. I was very disappointed as I promised my partner this was one of the best hotels in Kingston

Upgraded facilities. Professional service from staff. Efforts to maintain standards. Comfortable room but could be more sound proof. Could hear guests in adjoining room and walking in room above could be disturbing if prolonged

The hotel was nice. As far as food, I only ate breakfast at there but it was good Jamaican breakfast. I enjoyed the lounge (music, violinist on Thursday and DJ/nice vibe on Friday). Why I may not stay there again is because the WiFi did not work in my room (it did, however, work on the lower floor and in the lobby) and there was no television service. I was not feeling well and just wanted to relax in the room with some entertainment, but there was nothing for me.

Nice property, WiFi is really slow and only works in some areas. Was not happy about the WiFi but besides that, enjoyed the stay and the hotel. Food was good, staff were professional and polite.

Excellent small hotel, with modern and classy upgrades. Loved my stay, the staff was so nice, professional and accommodating. Excellent service, rooms were very luxurious and clean. The bathrooms especially are the best aesthetically. Highly recommend for a layback, classy comfort stay. Bartenders and staff were so nice.

The room was well maintained but some of the amenities were not up to par. The shower was difficult to use and eventually broke and even though I was told of the problem with the TV I still was disappointed that I could not watch CNN. But overall the experience was Good.

Check in and check out was smooth and the staff were accommodating and friendly. The room was different to the pictures and unfortunately the A/C had been leaking as moisture was running down the wall. The titles had also eroded due to the water but were dry. The bed was soft and the pillows heavenly. The room became cold quite quickly, but I dived under covers, so I was very happy. Curtains were stained and needed to be replaced. I didn’t enjoy closing and opening them British plugs in the room, so no need for adaptors. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. I loved the shower, water pressure was perfect and water always hot. Room service was amazing and efficient. The food was great too. Due to the Christmas and new years season, music played consistently till super late. Not so good for those who enjoy sleep. Located close by all the local attractions and very safe to wonder around. All in all a good stay.

They weren’t very accommodating although I alerted I was there for a funeral. Dinner service was extremely slow. It took almost an hour to get a ginger ale. The waitress was rude. I asked for 1st floor and was not accommodated

I had a truly wonderful experience at the Terra Nova in Kingston. From the moment I arrived, the level of service exceeded my expectations. The receptionist was exceptionally professional and welcoming, setting a positive tone for my entire stay. The waiter at the restaurant delivered outstanding service—attentive, courteous, and efficient. The porter who assisted with our luggage was equally friendly and professional. I even had a brief interaction with one of the housekeeping staff, who was warm, kind, and personable. And I must highlight the breakfast—it was absolutely fantastic! A delightful variety and beautifully presented. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Without a doubt, I will be staying at Terra Nova again on my next visit to Jamaica.

I arrived at the hotel a little early before the 3pm check-in time but i explain to the front desk that I Just came to Jamaica to give some blood for someone and I am tired and need some rest she stated that she will try to get me the room by 2:30pm that did not happen I literally feel asleep in a chair because I was tired. Even at 3pm when I went back the room was still not ready. After 3 I finally got the room I went to bed only to be woken by the heat in the room call the front desk they said they would send someone, The person came hower he claimed he had fix the problem it was not fix called back the front desk they stated the AC could not be fix tonight its when I mentioned to checkout the young lady said she would check if another room is available. I waited for her to call back no call I had to call back when I ask for an update she said a room is been prepared for me to move, when she finally called back she stated someone will come move me in 15 minutes waited no one I had come I went to the desk an told them I would move myself be mindful this is someone that is not feeling well. I went to this room they so call got ready I say nothing more let the picture below speak for its self. I met with the Manager on duty had a talk with her all in all I would never return to this hotel they already gotten a 3rd chance not another I dont even want to get started on the dining room staff that pays more attention to the white guest. Sigh

Not my favorite place to stay! You can tell the property is aging and there was a lack of attention to detail. Staff communication was poor on numerous occasions. There were never enough towels replenished and when we asked for beach towels, they said they’d get us some fresh ones and bring them out to the pool. Time passed and no one brought them out so we had to go in and get some. Not the end of the world but I was watching my kids and didn’t want to go back into the cold AC a second time to get a towel. Not the worst stay but not the best either

I gave 5 stars for all categories except one; Staff and Services. I gave it 2 stars because the front desk personnel was not particularly kind. Her attitude felt hostile. All the other staff members were great. The waitress and waiters were kind and welcoming. The food was great. The room amazing. The place met all my expectations and more. But I guess it can't all be perfect. I'm Jamaican born, and a US citizen. I moved back to Jamaica for over 3yrs now. I took my wife to the Terra Nova Hotel to celebrate our Anniversary. I never expected to feel less than anyone else we visit here. It started out with pleasant Hello from us and that we would like to check in. She asked if we had a reservation, we did. We gave our names, IDs, payment info. All that interaction felt we were at the wrong place. I gave my AMEX card, my US ID and that's when her energy changed. It sucks that this is how things are. I didn't expect it so close to home. And believe me when I say that I've experienced this on many occasions. Anyway, don't let this one bad apple stop you. You'll have a great time here. I would still stay here again. If it's the same receptionist, I just have to understand that this is how things are.

The wait to access the room was inordinately long - over three hours After waiting that long there one would have thought some form of be compensation e.g. complimentary meal or part refund on the room for that particular night. All you were told was 'sorry for the wait'. Tired, hurgry and sleepy after travelling by air and ground transportation foral most 6 hours very disappointing to say the least. You asked and I responded .

Location was excellent for moving around the city. Grounds are lush and green

The Staff and of course the Cuisine amazing especially the Jamaican breakfast.

I had a pretty good stay. My only problem there was with the poor attitude of one of the Regency Club staff. She was a bit rude, and really made my guests (one of which was a Minister of Government) feel uncomfortable and ignored. Also, there were no towels at the pool...and nobody was working at the pool to assist. The breakfast staff were amazing! The chef at night couldn't cook a good steak to save his/her life. I ordered a medium filet mignon and it came back absolutely well done. Then they replaced it with a rare one. It was horrible.

A very disappointing experience due to the following: 1)Booked 2 rooms with 2 separate beds, however requirements were not met and necessitated lengthy discussions to resolve the issue 2) I was informed that booking would include use of pool,, but I was unable to access the pool throughout my stay. 3) Booked a room with a Jacuzzi only to find there was no Jacuzzi just a large bath. 4) Hand sanitizers not working 5) I was told that. Buffet would be £25-30 per head. I arranged for 10 people.to have the Buffet lunch and when the bill came it turned out to be $50 per head. POSITIVES Breakfast was excellent. Manager listened to above complaints offered a complimentary nights stay for next visit to Jamaica, however this was not put in writing, therefore this may cause an issue when attempting to utilise the offer.

The grounds are beautiful and the buffet breakfast is fantastic beyond belief

The food is not as good as it was but excellent restaurants are in easy walking distance, so that wasn’t a problem for us.

Welcoming staff, AMAZING breakfast and dinner was also wonderful. Just lacking a few minor details I’d expect such as more toiletries. It would also benefit from little upgrades such as toilet bin which was very noticeably rusty. Face rags have also done their time but apart from these little things, all was lovely and I would stay again.
