Overall the stay was average. Would I go back there. No. The property made some upgrades which is continuing. Some of the upgrades are appreciated while others require established communication patter amongst staff. The gym requires an upgrade. Machines are outdated and not safe. The executive chef is left to make decisions that are not aligned with guest experience or family oriented. The breakfast was one note. Guest were over heard stating “ what is this ? Is it it a fruit , how should I eat it ? Why is it soggy”. This was in reference to the poor choice of Sunday breakfast being “escovitch fish” and bammy. No one wanted that option. And the same throughout the week. A constructive conversation with the executive chef and guest experience should occur. Overall, my stay was average and I would appreciate the hotel consider the perspective of their customers and not just one individual. Nice upgrade to the outdoor lounge and pool.

It is a spacious property with some nice amenties. But, the swimming pool and jogging track were being renovated and not accessible. Even their Spa facility could not be used because they were getting only cold water. The shower equipment is not good for water flow & mixing. The bathroom smells as if they have some problem with the drain traps. Even the room windows make annoying whistling sound when there is strong breeze outside. The front office took almost one and a half hours to check in as they had not decided which room to give us.

Great hotel with a wonderful pool. We could see the ocean and Port Royal from the balcony. Great location for visiting the Bob Marley museum and Devon House. We also drove to Port Royal, about 35 minutes away. There was an issue with our first room, that was handled very professionally and to our full satisfaction by the front desk. Good pool bar and restaurant.

Stay was comfortable, Nice location , spacious rooms , Clean, Nice Bar and Swimming pool area with Tennis court open for the guests break Fast was nice. The SPA experince was very bad , May be cause of one individual. The person name Jeawn was doing reflexology for 45 mins, it was very disappointing . He was using his one hand to massage and the second hand may be busy in browsing his own phone. Also very 10 seconds he was losing his pressure , as if he is napping. I felt i was cheated for $80 USD

It was a very quick trip and I had a great night sleep. I did not get to enjoy much of the hotel but the staff were nice and it functioned perfectly for my short stay. My main complaint would be that the room was a bit shabby and run down and didn't feel very clean.

Staff was friendly. No Jamaican food was served at breakfast. Previous guest hair was left on my bathroom floor and on their orange cushion (repulsive). Their orange cushion was visibly dirty. This hotel has a great reputation and was recommended. I have no plans to return.

We were on the 10th floor facing the pool and had some City views, Ocean View and a little Mountain View. All the staff members were very professional, accommodating and all smiles everywhere in this beautiful conveniently located hotel. Thank you Tombo, who was our first contact at check in, all servers at the Blue Window both dinner time and breakfast time as well as the pool bar where we enjoyed some delicious food and drinks with friends and family who visited for a little while. So Loved our little getaway to attend our niece’s wedding which was close by. Thank you all at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston Jamaica!

The hotel is a bit outdated, and some easy fixes could bring it up to speed. There are some pluses. The lobby 24hr cafeteria - amazing. The poolside area - fantastic. The room though? Small and stuffy. The bathrooms were slightly outdated, sinks slow to drain and the bathroom - the water pressure was a bit underwhelming. My experience however is singular, perhaps others who maybe stayed in higher floors (I was on the 3rd) had more updated rooms. Ive been to establishments where this is the case. Either way, the housekeeping service was amazing. Shoutout to Nicole! Overall, I could be back to the Pegasus but ill be sure to review the room pre check in and if I have any concerns, I'll perhaps consider next door as Ive heard great things.

The price per room isn't consistent with the room's condition. The bed creaked a lot, the mattress was old, the bathroom door kept getting stuck and was difficult to open and close, and the shower barely had any water coming in, so we had to ask for it to be serviced. Otherwise, it's fine.

I would use inconsistent to describe Pegasus and its staff. Front desk for the most part was meh. Now and again you'd find a pleasant front desk staff. The cleaning crew was somewhat friendly, and the crew that offered room service, like cleaning services, for example, was generally OK- not impressive and not terrible. I expected daily room service/cleaning; this did not happen, unfortunately. Some days, they either genuinely forgot to clean my rooms or they just did not bother to clean my rooms. When they did clean my rooms, they were not cleaned properly. I'd recommend that Pegasus pays attention to details. For instance, all of the clocks in the rooms had the incorrect time (the time was different from the local time), which completely threw me off. As well, the walls looked dinged and scratched up. One of the doors in one of my rooms was literally "flaking", which is a hazard in and of itself as splinters could get loose. The TV in my room did not work. It kept turning off. They sent a staff member to change out the TV. This guy was very effecient and quick. For me, the biggest disappointment, really, was the internet. I don't think I have any word right now to describe how bad the internet was. I work online and attend school online for the most part. During my stay at Pegasus, I attempted to do some assignments, quizzes, and an exam for 2 of my courses. For the most part, I could not get on the Wi-Fi, and when I did get connected, I'd lose connectivity repeatedly.

Great staff and excellent handling of emergencies. Due to a hurricane that passed by l, we had to check in last minute and had the wrong booking information. This was handled very well and professionally. They were very organized and systematic in taking us through the storm with moving everyone downstairs and keeping us entertained. As soon as it was over, we were allowed back in our rooms and everything proceeded seemlessly- we were able to head to the restaurant for dinner shortly after. The property was immaculate and well maintained- no deterioration from the time I lived in Jamaica and visited it. They have started to renovate some of the floors, and we had the privilege of being on one of them- very nicely done. I was so proud of how they have kept their standards high- both in the facilities and the staff.

I would highly recommend The Pegasus! They were so accommodating and even upgraded our rooms for us just to make sure we had the best experience in Jamaica. If you want to feel pampered, stay at this location (and make sure to book an appointment at the spa).

Got there almost 10AM Jamaica time waited almost 6hrs for a room. Yet still everyday after that housekeeping cleaning by 7AM. Make it make sense. The next day @5:45AM a report made that TV and refrigerator were not working; return after 9PM say day no one yet to visited. How inconvenient for the full 5 days? I’ve always suggested numerous times that Expedia workers need to visit these places undercover and see what customers are talking about. They want to charge ppl arm and a leg and people cannot get the basic service. Things need to change. I bet if I was white it would be fixed immediately or if not some compensation would be given shortly for the inconvenience once additional report was made.

Liked: All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and professional. Having to use your card to travel on the elevators is a good security feature. Rooms were clean. Property location is in walking distance to off-property eateries and entertainment. Disliked: Wait time to access room. On arrival, although I had my confirmed reservation (booked and paid for 5 months in advance), I was informed that my reservation was canceled. Had to provide a card to hold a room for 1 night while the issue was being sorted. Had to pay taxes (US$48) that I was told wasn't collected by the 3rd party. Some amenities provided on the higher floors were not on the lower (but got when l asked). Suggestion: reconfirm reservation day before arrival.

the lobby was large and bustling with person sin elegant attire literally every day. At the same time we were able to meet with friends to have private conversation in this public area. The pool area was fantastic and inviting. The rooms were clean and from the balcony we were able to enjoy wonderful views of Kingston and the port Pegasus is opposite the emancipation park and we were able to enjoy the park with literally hundreds of people playing , walking, running and exercising. Jerk chicken was easily obtained a few feet from the park. New Kingston as usual lively. It was a wonderful vacation

The hotel staff were professional and very friendly. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with a beautiful park across from the hotel. The property is well maintained and has a swimming pool and spa room. My brother got a massage for his lower back pain and he said it was great. The gift shop has some good Jamaican made souvenirs which are a bit pricey. I liked my room because l had a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. It was magical watching the sun rise in the mornings and I will definitely be staying there on my next visit.

I would have rated them 5 stars but the breakfast was disappointing. I don’t know if it’s because it was Saturday but the only option was cooked liver. Seriously for what we paid to stay there at least provide some cállalo and fresh fruits. I’ve been to the Sunday brunch so I know there are much better options. It’s a well maintained hotel and everyone was welcoming and pleasant.

The Jamaica Pegusus Hotel is certainly a vibe. We enjoyed the lobby seating, as well as the convenience of the 24/7 cafe that had a variety of foods and drinks. There is always an event happening on the property so people watching in the lobby can be a good pass time. We enjoyed the pool and music on Friday night.
