It’s hard to reach a live person at the Gilbert Inn, who also manages this property, they never answered the phone or returned my voicemails. I had to walk in to talk to somebody about when my room will be ready, etc. Also, the ice machine is broken and needs to be fixed. I had to buy a bag of ice.

Loved our room at Inn at the Prom. You can walk anywhere, and relax in adirondack chairs right on the Prom to watch the sunset, people, and pets! The spa tub was perfect.

We booked here for the teen granddaughters to be close to yhe beach. Nice place to stay but check in is across the street and up steps ... we could not park our full size pickup outside our cottage. Parking for full size vehicle meant walking around the corner to/from our truck. Normally not a problem walking but steps are a problem for me. A little heads up for anyone else having knee/hip issues.

The Inn at the Prom is in a wonderful location right on the Seaside Prom. The beach, restaurants, and shops are close by within easy walking distance. The hotel rooms are small bungalow rooms convenient for no more than 1-2 people. There is limited storage space in the unit (one closet and no dresser or drawers). There is a nice firepit on the property but it is not facing the beach.

We love staying there. Next year I will ask for a side room not the middle room. Had a little trouble with our TV but they fixed it ( It took a little to long with people in our room) but it was fixed. And the only other thing is we have been staying there 3 years in a row and they have never replace the ice machine at the Inn you have to go across the street and that ice machine is very small. We will go back love the spot.

The hotel was amazing , the staff was friendly . The hotel was super clean and PERFECT. The staff were able to accommodate my request for a lower level room due my older fur babies disability and inability to use stairs. We will book again next year. Thank you so very much .

This place advertised gas fireplaces in each room, however they were non functional. We complained and were told they would be looked at "soon". The place was not cleaned very well. There was dust and dirt on the headboard and in various locations. We had to stop looking as it was getting worse the more we looked. We were only there one night. If we had gotten into the room earlier, we would have found a different place to stay. We were out of the room before daylight the next morning.

Parking is a disaster had to park around the corner. Get checked in, park, head inside the unit to find broken glass all over the bathroom floor. Thankfully I went to the bathroom before my kids! I should have listened to the review a few weeks ago that said their room was dirty! And yes I took pictures!

Ocean front view and very easy access to promenade, beach, dining and shopping. Not very fond of the very tight parking situation though. Staff was very helpful and overall the property was very clean and refreshing.

Staff and hotel itself are so amazing! The rooms are adorable and easy to get to and charming. However, they could use a better cleaning routine for the bathroom areas. It didn’t seem like one of the two robes in the bedroom had been washed, maybe ever. So we just didn’t use those, no biggie! But, the jetted spa tub, one of the main reasons for booking, left the bath water disgusting after one minute of them being on. The bath took at least 30min to fill so we unfortunately wasted a ton of water since it ended up being filled with left behind hairs that shot out of the jets. Also, the smoke detectors turned on when we turned on the fireplace so do be careful with that! Overall, a very cute place. We may try to stay at their main hotel the next time in hopes of a cleaner bathroom experience.

There was mold in the bathroom, and the door jam had about a half a inch between the door and the jam. Door handle had difficulty locking. It was pretty and it was nice and walkable to everywhere else.

We had a lovely stay in an oceanfront suite. It has a patio with a small door to access the beach. The bed was soft & cozy, kitchenette was a help with our meal needs, strong flow of water in the bathroom shower & faucets. Clean & close to everything. We will come back again.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but in need of some minor repairs. Noticed the trim around the tub was beginning to fall apart. Location was great and close to the beach which is exactly what we were looking for. Parking was tight but not impossible. Will probably consider staying there again on future visits depending on the price.

The room smelled pretty strongly of bleach when we arrived...we had to open the slider to air it out. The double lock on the door was really flimsy and the fit of the door was terrible. If sleeping facing the door, you could see light on all four sides of the door. The location was great; the accomodations were cozy and other than that, it was perfect..

Room was clean and cute, but small. Patio and view was great. Walls were thin. Could hear person upstairs taking loud steps and could hear snoring all night long in room next door. Two men, which I assume were maintenance, stared into our room one morning. When we approached them, they said they were checking our screen. We should’ve received a request from the office for this so we weren’t startled. I reached out to the office for all these issues and did not hear back. Poor customer service.

Amazing location but the rest is so-so. We reserved a 1 bedroom suite. It was nice to have separated spaces but you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom so not practical. Unit was a cottage so it was on the first floor and our particular one was situated next to the outdoor fireplace and walkway where people strolled by to get to the beach so it was a little noisy and non-private. The unit itself was a little smelly and stuffy so we had to open the windows everyday to air it out. Walls required fresh paint. Microwave was in need of replacement and the faucet of the tub leaked badly. The cottage could be so much nicer with a little TLC.

Property is super cute. We stayed here for the 4th of July and the view was great. We had to sit out on the lawn to get a better view than from the patio but there was plenty of space. The rooms are small but adorable. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family, but for 2 people it’s great! I would definitely come back for a getaway with my husband sometime.

We will not be back. The room itself was an excellent location but poorly maintained. When we arrived there was an overwhelming smell of animals. We had asked to be sure and get a room that did not have animals as my wife is allergic to dogs. The fireplace worked for the 1st evening but then stopped working and when we called to see if we could get it fixed we were told from the front desk clerk that he could not get a hold of the maintenance person. We stayed 3 nights and never did get it fixed.

Terrible experience — do not recommend We reached out to this hotel four times before checking in and never got a response — that should have been our first red flag. When we arrived, the front desk staff was friendly, but unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our stay. Our room was in awful condition. The fridge didn’t work, the power kept cutting in and out, and only after checking in did we see another review mentioning bedbugs — incredibly unsettling. The worst part: we were supposed to stay for two nights, but when we returned after our first day out, the entire hotel had lost power, and there was no communication or plan in place for how guests were supposed to handle it. The front desk staff told us they were heading home for the day, leaving us completely stranded. We ended up having to leave that night and find another place to stay. No follow-up, no apology, and no refund — we’ve still heard nothing. Completely unprofessional and not worth the risk. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Esteban was the best! We were sorta out of our element In Seaside, OR, being from PHX, AZ! He made us confortable, his travel tips were on point, crazy friendy and accommodating. Absolutely beautiful propery right on the beach! Awesome!

Was not clear on where to check in after they closed. It was pouring rain and we could not hear the voicemail clearly to go to the sister property across the road. We had to ask some people nearby. Would have been good to have been texted instructions that night. We did get instructions the next day, around 3AM which wasn't helpful. Once we did get inside, the unit was great and our stay great. One other guest had a dog that barked on and off through the day was a little of an annoyance. Water dripping on a pipe at the hotel next door was loud, so we had to move the pipe on the other property.

Asked about checking in an hour early and basically got a lecture about the check in was at 4PM. This is the first time for this type of response as everywhere else I’ve stayed at would accommodate their guest if the room was ready. The fireplace in the room did not work. Given it was off season you’d think they’d offer another room. Would not stay here again.

Worst customer service ever. They messed up our room assignment when we ask about it the kid at the desk had no idea how to handle the question so he called manger who told us the upper management would return our call. NEVER happened. Fire place didn’t work and the kid who tried to fix it said they would reduce the price for the night and that also NEVER happened.

Ocean Front units are Excellent. You are a few steps from the beach. Beautiful views of the prom and ocean. Will stay again. Would recommend keeping a plunger in the room for those unexpected clogs. Excellent staff. Parking is tight though. Room was quiet and check in was available sooner than expected. Thanks

The view is so worth it! The only question is I was told the policy is to have a decaf coffee in the room, but you have to ask for regular. We wonder why. The office is open 9-9.

This has been our go to for years. Really impressed with extra care on how clean the room was this time. Hope they would include breakfast in the future and extra wide non slip surfaces on the stairs. Gets slick when it's super wet.
