About this property

Located at the heart of Cancún, this hotel lies within 5 minutes by taxi or bus from the banking district as well as a diverse selection of restaurants and bars, a bus stop, a handicrafts market and a range of shops. Ideal for both business guests and budget travellers, the city may easily be reached on foot. The nearest nightclubs are 12 km away and it is approximately 10 minutes by car to the nearest beach. This hotel comprises 45 rooms of which 6 are suites spread over a 5-storey main building and a single storey annexe block. Amongst the facilities count air conditioning, a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a café, a restaurant and wireless Internet access. Room service, a laundry service (charges apply), car parking and a garage are available to guests. It’s Basic but the room was cold and I felt safe. Local tacos spots up and down the street. The Portillo is a main st in Cancun, more the local area. I did live in Cancun for 10yrs take my daughter to her dads to live each summer so this is a quick 2-3 day stay. The area is safe. There’s a large grocery store directly across the street, Mega you can buy anything you may need there. At night there are taco/food stands and restaurants all up and down the Portillo either side of the hotel. They have free off street parking. Grab the local Route 2 bus and it’ll take you right to the Zona Hotelera for the public beaches.

The expedia description of this hotel listed a refrigerator as on of the room amenities. This is a main reason we booked this hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer this. Quite a disappointment.

No room service not even glasses to drink water. No blankets available. No fridge or water. There's nothing except the room with beds in it so if you're looking to stay for few days this is not the place. There's a restaurant right infront of the hotel tho and thier food was amazing.

El personal siempre fue muy amable, las habitaciones limpias y el aire acondicionado enfría con ganas. Lo malo es que el wi-fi no llegaba a mi habitación, tenía que sentarme en el pasillo para tomar buena señal. pero en general el costo/servicio si vale la pena. Está un poco lejos de la zona pero aprendimos a movernos en transporte público.

La habitación deluxe es muy amplia y bastante accesible, la sábana de la cama estaba sucia con manchas amarillas, hay una luz en el pasillo que nunca la apagan y es molesta para dormir, peeguntamos si tenían late check out y fueron groseros con la respuesta, nos terminaron marcando antes de las 12 para preguntar si ya estabamos saliendo, sentí que me estaban corriendo y yo estaba dispuesto a pagar extra por unas horas, se tolera solo por el precio económico.

The hotel was a 1/10. The shower had no pressure , the bed was extremely hard. The ratings of this hotel has to be fake. As a matter of fact, I would like a refund. The best part about the hotel, oh there is none. The staff at night is very rude, the daytime staff is pretty okay. Expedia should really give me my money back. There is no way the ratings is 8.4/10.

Habitación amplia y cómoda, a los alrededores hay un centro comercial y bancos. La estancia es muy tranquila, solo la utilizamos para descansar pero todo muy bien. Sin duda alguna volvería a reservar con ellos.

On the plus side, my room was cleaned daily and they had a secure parking garage for my car. The daytime staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is directly across the street from a restaurant and two blocks away from a McDonalds. There is a huge shopping center with a grocery store within five minutes walking distance. On the negative side, the bed was uncomfortable. I just needed a place to sleep at night and this place served its purpose.

Worst hotel. They wont let you pay for late check ouit, then i paid a new room with expedia and they disnt wanted to lwt me in my old room to get my things before 3pm even if i paid for a new room. Plus the bed are very hard and it is dirty.

He estado muy còmoda, aunque está en la zona centro hay muy buena comunicación en urban y te puedes desplazar fácilmente. Recomiendo "Impulso", un local para desayunar a pocos metros, también hay cerca supermercado y al frente una taqueria bien de calidad precio. Lo recomiendo

No room service not even glasses to drink water. No blankets available. No fridge or water. There's nothing except the room with beds in it so if you're looking to stay for few days this is not the place. There's a restaurant right infront of the hotel tho and thier food was amazing.

It's off the resort path so if you don't speak Spanish it will be a barrier. The kitchen is also non functional now. Places close to eat and grocery shop should need be

La ubicacion es excelente, cerca de transporte, supermercado y restaurantes. Los cuartos muy limpios, el baño es enorme y muy bonito, tienen tv de cable con muy buena señal y es algo que menciono pues en otros hoteles su señal es pesima y apenas se ve bien unos cuantos canales. El personal siempre muy amable, en especial el sr. Armando, muy atento y amable al resolver nuestras dudas sobre el hotel.
