Property is river front and a beautiful patio with a working fireplace for relaxing along with a peaceful night air and an adult beverage of your choice (BYOB). Property is currently in going renovations and will be beautifully adored upon completion. Staff is amazing and friendly, housekeeping works hard to maintain a clean environment. Close to shopping and sightseeing.

Room was cool but the rest of the hotel was too hot. We went over July 4th weekend and it was cooler outside than it was in the lobby and hallways. Ice machines didn’t work on all the floors

Property is not in good condition. The hallway on each floor is without ventilation, humid and hot. Long wait for elevator because one of the two elevator was out of service for 2 days and I didn’t see anyone fixing it. First room I got had drain problem and it smelled. The only part out of my stay that I can consider good is breakfast. Overall experience is bad and I will not stay at any Hampton if this is how they inspect and maintain their properties.

Everything appeared to be broken or poorly maintained. Front doors wouldn't close fully and made squealing noises when opening. Most of the light in the pool flickered or were out completely. Dryer for customer use was broken but still took my money. When I reported to front desk the attendant flippantly stated they knew it was out of service (no signage to indicate this however) and I should have used a different one in the staff area, though no offer of refund or attempt to help further was made.

Love seeing the smoke stacks from my room! My Dad used to work in the mill. Beautiful fireplace out back, looking at the mon river. Everything was excellent and enjoyed my stay!

The staff was not friendly and seemed ambivalent. One of the elevators had a strong smell of marijuana. One guest said the entire 2nd floor smelled of it. The other elevator had a strong cigarette smoke odor. Probably will not stay at this property again.

Rooms were way over due for an updating, broken CFL lights (they contain mercury) never had the room serviced, both elevators did not work the 3 nights we were there, we were on the 4th floor. Gym equipment was broken.

We had a 2nd floor room with a view of a brick wall. Went to go back to lobby from 2nd floor & elevator didn’t work, called desk & was told “elevator probably overheated!” Next day, still no elevator & night worker didn’t bother telling manager. Not impressed for the amount of money they charge.

The property needs an update. My room was very dirty, i knew it was a bad sign when my room door looked like it hadnt been painted in generations. My sheets was dirty, stains everywhere HK management should be ashamed. I did not sleep in the beds we just went home. I wasted money.

When I arrived at the property the room, specifically the door knobs and carpet, were visibly dirty. During the 3 nights we were there we didn’t receive room service once. When I asked a house keeper for clean towels he stated he only had enough for the rooms he was supposed to clean. The area outside of the hotel, including the abundance of food choices, was great.

We attended a family wedding in Pittsburgh, and our family had several rooms at this hotel. All of the rooms were in terrible state, stains on carpets, cupboards full of dust that had not been cleaned in months. Stains on room doors, bathroom door frames were full of mould - as were some of the bath tub edges. The furniture in the bedrooms and bathroom was so old, it was full of scratches and in general very poor condition. The rooms were dark and dull. The beds were not particularly comfortable. To top it off, during our 5 day stay, we asked twice for the bedsheets to be changed and were told it would be done, once we complained it had not been done - the reception staff simply say that Housekeeping finish at 5pm and nothing could be done. Overall the cleanliness in this hotel is very severely lacking. The breakfast area was poorly managed, and not cleaned during breakfast hours. Generally, there were crumbs all round the bread area and toaster. Very poor standards for a Hilton property. I would avoid staying at this property.

The room was clean and spacious and very nice. The breakfast was what was expected. Overall the hotel seemed clean and orderly but im not sure what was up with the elevators but they stunk. Very unpleasant and honestly i was surprised, a little bit of oder neutralizer should take care of that. The next morning there was spilled milk in the elevator and a slippery sign was opened over it and to my surprise an employee was riding down in the same elevator and she never cleaned it up. Mustn't of been her job! The bed was a little hard for me but my wife was comfortable so i guess 50/50 is decent.

Rooms were very dirty. Stains on the blankets, pillow sheets and towels. Tables and countertops were very sticky and refrigerators we not working for medication that needed chilled. They put us in 2 different rooms and same issues with both.

Staff at desk and dining area very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did not come into our room during our stay ( Thursday - Sunday). We had to call each night for towels, washcloths, toilet paper, and coffee pack. The desk staff delivered these items quickly. Also trash was never emptied

I have stayed here a number of times over the years. Cleanliness, lack of service did not meet expectations. Sticker on mirror stated cleaning every other day. In a 5 night stay, the bathroom was not cleaned, sheets were not changed.

This hotel was ok. I don’t think I would stay here again. They do not let you adjust the thermostat under 68 degrees and it made it very warm and uncomfortable to sleep.

We had a river view room and it was quiet. The door blocked sound well. Go early for breakfast, because they didn't do more oatmeal, when it ran out by 9AM and they don't offer instant oatmeal packs. Also they started taking food away at around 9:30am, even though breakfast is from 6-10am every day. The breakfast serving and dining area was kept clean.

My door did not close properly. The top hinges had been damaged. The gentleman at the front desk came to the room when called and attempted to repair. He got it to close but the dead bolt would not lock. He was very helpful and called it into Maintenance to be completely repaired the next day.

Room was mostly clean and comfortable. Small amount of staining in the shower. Biggest issue was the door to the bathroom was too big and made a horrible noise scraping across the floor when you tried to close it. And the door too the room was sticky as well. My husband basically had to shoulder check when we went in. Otherwise good breakfast, good room and a great location

All Staff from front desk young ladies(evening & day), the gentleman that cooked breakfast, housekeeping staff and the gentlemen checking the fire alarm system were very polite, nice & helpful. I will be staying here each time I visit Pittsburgh.

This stay was a disaster. We booked three rooms and only one of us got the corrext room. I got checked in under another guest. That guest came into our room while we were at supper. So they locked our doors to protect our stuff. We got bsck around 7 and thry couldnt get us back into our room till almost 9 because they wouldnt unlock the door. They also didnt have my inlaws checked in so someone also came into their room at 10 while they were sleeping. I worked with the staff several times to get everything figured out and it was still messed up when he checked out. They had us under the wrong rooms and they had my credit cards all messed up. It was a horrible stay.

First time to Pittsburgh area. The hotels location on the river was beautiful! The customer service was top notch and the gentleman at the front desk was superb. My mom is handicapped and he was so helpful in giving me information about things we could do. Even went as far to look u the ferry numbers! Wonderful!

I loved how close to Kennywood and Sandcastle we were. It was also only a 15–20-minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh to do the aviary. Overall great stay in a convenient location.

Nice room, recently updated, everything in the building was in good condition, quick friendly check-in. Breakfast open until 10am is a plus. Food is pretty lackluster though. Room was clean, not enough towels or bathroom supplies for multiple nights of multiple people, and no regular housekeeping. But overall very good. We’ll continue to be regular guests.

Enjoyed the omletts and sausage. Scrsmbled eggs were cold Saturday morning, and the Water option had red fruit juice of some kind both mornings. Clean buffet bar was nice.
