Hotel is a mixed bag. Front desk service is excellent, all 4 or 5 people I dealt with. Room was clean including carpet, but ceiling had lots of stains. Someone there is obsessed with ventilation; window was wide open when I arrived, seemed to be stuck; receptionist was willing to come help me close it. After I returned from an outing it was open again; this time I closed it myself. There should be no concern with ventilation since the bathroom window also opens! Bed was very comfortable with an attractive covering. Shower was like a fire hose; super high pressure (better than low pressure but probably wasteful of water). Room was fairly quiet with the window shut (neighborhood sometimes noisy). No microwave in room but there is one near the breakfast room. Breakfast itself is limited to waffles, toast, minimuffins and bananas.

It’s under construction. People walking around and working on the roof from 8 am to 5pm. It is so noisy and I asked change the room but no comfortable room. I changed room twice and now in 1st floor. Little bit better noise but air conditioner is broken. No comfortable room.

Safe and quiet area. Plenty of restaurants close by. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Nice courtyard. Older hotel in the middle of updates so temper your expectations.

The Deluxe Suite? Man, those showers are amazing. Plus, it's got a whole kitchen setup with a fridge and even little stoves – totally perfect if you've got the family with you. They usually have some sweet deals going on too. And the staff? Seriously cool, always down to help you out with whatever. My absolute favorite thing, though – and this is a big one – is sometimes you can see raccoons hanging out in the yard! Oh yeah, and they got laundry right there, so no need to go hunting for a laundromat. Plus, you can grab some breakfast there until 10 in the morning. Definitely try to ask for a patio room with the deluxe suite if you can – those are the best!"

Clean, Quiet, Friendly staffs. Room was very spacious and clean. There are drinkable water station and couple of microwaves to use along the hallways. Backyard is very quiet and nice. Several restaurants, grocery stores and Target near by. Great stay.

Property had several restaurants within a short drive and was quiet. No elevator which is bad when you have heavy suitcases. Not enough towels in bathroom which to don’t realize till it’s too late. Bed was comfy. TV channel selection was limited. Property was clean and felt safe.

My family member stayed here and it was horrible. It was a prepaid room and the check in was a day late The room and bed was dirty. The shower had hair in it , the bed had stains , my family member was bitten by a spider, and there was a spider in the bathtub .There was no compensation for this inconvenience. Contacted the property and the manager and we received no assistance there either. My family member contacted Experian and they were rude and no help. I purchased insurance on this reservation not sure if that will help this situation but I'm not going to let this end without a further complaint against the hotel and Experian.

Very dirty especially the bathroom!! Clogged tub, tiny insects flying around the bathroom, broken window at the bathroom which you can actually be seen outside and we just have to cover it with the towel, dead cockroach under the sink and a lipstick stain on the pillow. The guy on the front desk was nice. But overall, it was nasty. Could have found a better place. This was my first time encountering these kinds of stuff in a hotel. Staying at Motel 6 at Barstow was so much better than this hotel.

The first room the hotel booked us for had unfinished paint, the toilet stopped working, and the window was broken. They changed rooms for us after lots of convincing, so that made things better. But very dirty hotel with limited things (pillows, blankets).

The bathtub had no water pressure and did not get very hot at all. Found stuff under the tv from previous guests which means they didnt clean well. Does not give you wash rags for the bath room and only 2 towels. Very limited tv channels.

There is a new owner of this property and they were in transition. However, the room I was given was not ready properly for my stay. Lack of towels, no soap, and dead cockroach’s in the bathroom. I know the new owners were just taking over so I dealt with my situation. Hopefully they will rectify my complaints once they fully take over. Otherwise, it was okay for the price paid.

Cockroach in the tub. I killed it. Stained rug looks like it might have been a crime scene. Very dissatisfied for the price. I am sleeping in my clothes on top of the sheets. I would find a different hotel but we are only here for 6 hours.

Convenient location. Property is very dated. Bathroom tiles looks original to the building. Louvered window in the bathroom allows outside noise in when closed. Tub drainage was very slow and took a while to drain. Toilet took a long time to refill, I thought it was stuck and wasting water. Beds were ok, room adequate but wouldn't want to spend a second night. Walked into the room and the window was wide open. The window screen was bent and warped and would not stop insects from coming into the room. Front desk was very nice. Weekend breakfast was sad. 1 of 2 waffle irons working. A few tiny mini muffins and one or two bananas. Drink fountain, coffee and hot water station. We ended up going out for breakfast.

The TV options are horrible. So many stairs, no elevator. Quite difficult for a disabled person, such as myself. Bathroom window has an upper and lower portion. I couldn't close the upper portion. I was in room 207 from Mon 8/12, until Wed 8/14.

Bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was terrible, very few options. Cheap white bread , mini muffins and only bananas. Coffee was weak and no Black tea. One waffle maker wasn't working and the 2nd one worked intermittently. Only grape jelly!

It smelled like your average 50 year old building. The TV has really poor image quality and the channels were extremely limited (1-3 max) not to mention the bed-clothes were uncomfortable. It was quiet but I wouldn't recommend for more than one night.

I just completed my stay here with my daughter and we felt safe.There is a CVS about 5 mins walk and other food places walkable distance. The hotel room is equipped with a small fridge and microwaves are located on each floor. There is also cable tv. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels each day. The young guy at front desk was so helpful and kind. I'd definitely stay again

The Chinese woman who is the front desk discriminates against LGBT people, she ran me an hour before checking out and threatened to call the police asking me to leave the hotel as if I were a criminal and pay for more than a month for my stay.

Check in was just plain rude. The guy didn't get off his personal call in his own language. He just gestured to me for our passports and my credit card. He didn't advise where breakfast was (we found it by searching the next morning and it was surprisingly ok), and i have no idea where the listed pool is! The room was cramped. Shouldnt have had 2 beds in it. One bed had a plastic sheet, which is weird for a double bed. Mattresses fine, but pillows were fluffy nothings. New TV, which was the only thing new that place has seen in the last decade

I booked for three days two nights and by 11am the second day the receptionist banged on my door and demanded we check out. Apparentpy they double booked the room and we had to move due to their mistake. No one ever said why we had to move or apologized. Incredibly inconvenient and angering bc i was getting ready for an event.

Hotel Pacific Garden is a good value for your money. It needs updating with a little wear tear, breakfast is just coffee and bread pretty much, but service is outstanding friendly and they clean your room every day.

Very cool and inexpensive spot. Security deposit was super cheap and got it right back when I checked out. Staff was very nice and the 24 hour front desk was very helpful. Also a cool plaza behind the hotel with lots of Asian dining options and a big Japanese grocery store. Highly recommend, especially for someone getting in late on a red eye.

Quiet and clean property, got what I paid for: a place to sleep with a private bathroom and free parking. Continental breakfast was mediocre and included bite sized muffins, bananas, a waffle maker and tea/coffee maker. There are some cool stores in the area behind the hotel and front desk was helpful when I needed them.

I stay here a lot. Great area close to my job, tons of shopping and food places where you can get almost any type of food desired, and a great Park less than a block away. Also, just around the corner from the Gardena Police Station, so you will feel very safe with the Police presence provided.

Owner and staffs are courteous and respectful. Property is ok quiet and has access to restaurants. Didn’t like the breakfast because the continental didn’t expect bread only and some fruits. Usually hotels/motels serves continental breakfast with eggs, sausage etc. Free parking is also included.

Very old - like 60’s cabinets in bathrooms that have about 20 layers of paint. Continental breakfast was a banana and a make it yourself waffle. No protein offered.

Bread bananas ran out of stock in just 30 minutes of opening of breakfast on 18th Aug, 2024 Sunday. Manager/ kitchen in charge refuse to refill since owner did not get them. They are not able to even call the owner. It appears to be a regular feature. Rooms are not clean. Not recommended to anyone.

The website says free continental breakfast, but it’s literally a snack given at the reception. They gave us a choice between either 2 small muffins or 2 piece of toast, with coffee, and a banana if in stock. When asked for more, they refused. Had to go out for a proper breakfast anyways. Never booking again tbh. Rooms were okay.

Breakfast was very bad, They should not advertise as bed and breakfast. It was pretty basic. Maybe a waffle and bread & sometimes muffins or bananas. The food highly rationed. The room was fairly clean, but the reception area looked like a dumping ground. To the owner - The is great room for making the hotel world class and even charging more.
