Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cancun Airport

Airport shuttle was easy to find, and waiting when we arrived. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed the pool area for a few hours till check out.

Clean, front desk was very friendly, we like the free airport shuttle and that it is pet friendly

Hotel propre et confortable. Les dejeuner sont corrects. La navette pour l’aéroport est un plus, bien que pour les joindres ca ne fut pas facile , on les a rejoint au 4ieme numero mais ils sont arrivés tres rapidement, le etour a l’aéroport tres facile. Le restaurant est tres cher pour la qualité.

Excelente opción cerca del aeropuerto aunque el transporte gratuito para recoger del aeropuerto puede tardar bastante tiempo pero el hotel en si está perfecto

I went to the bar after my husband had had a drink there and ask for two plastic forks and knives and they charged me $1. Said cause we didn’t eat there. Bed was uncomfortable and the lights were difficult to work. Hot tub wasn’t working and was cold. Shouldn’t advertise it if it’s broken. People were mostly nice.

Getting picked up from the airport was a very easy process. The gym at the hotel although small but has what’s necessary and it’s clean. Rooms are nice the restaurant in the hotel also had good tasting food. I would definitely stay here again

Nice pool, comfortable bed, airport shuttle, great for an overnight prior to a flight.

Left us stranded at the airport for 1hr for a shuttle that never showed-up with 2 children at 1am. Took another hour to check-in after we had to find our own way to the hotel and pray we wouldn’t get mugged. Attendant kept lying about the status of the shuttle every time I called to check status. Service came and knocked on the door to ask when are we leaving at 8:30am and woke everyone up. Worst hotel experience of all times. It’s not even that close to the airport. Run!

Some gym equipment broken, room had no towels, bad breakfast. Otherwise good bed and clean place

I wasn’t very clean. Our room had sand all over the floor. Had a very heavy smell of mold

Found that the room was not cleaned upon arrival (bed sheets were dirty…) and had to switch rooms twice due to pest issues within the hotel room. Staff did attempt to remedy the issue promptly upon request with a room change, however, upon entering the second room there was a the same pest issue.

The staff at the reception were not very interested. The room is spacious, but the airco is very noisy and there was mould on the lampshade. The bed is comfortable. The best is the airport transfer.

Very run down hotel, with a very rusted mirror in the bathroom, unclean carpets and poor breakfast

The hotel was fine for the one night but the rooms were damp, no fresh air circulation, funky smell of mould but friendly staff, nice gym and ok breakfast.

The smell in the room was terrible.

En general el hotel está bien, yo solo le pondría 3 inconvenientes: 1.la limpieza de las habitaciones, sobre todo del baño, tenía moho en las paredes y había uñas en la barrita que está arriba del lavabo. 2. El horario de desayuno esta muy reducido. 3. Los precios de la comida o el servicio al cuarto siento que son elevados para un hotel.

The hotel was pretty clean except for the carpet in the hallway and the room smelled musty, like it needed to be aired out. The room was clean and comfortable. The ac throughout was awesome. The airport shuttle was convenient, clean, and runs every 30min 24/7. Nice pool area. The staff was polite. The WiFi was great! Overall, it was a nice experience.

Room was nice. I’ve machine on the floor was broken. TV wasn’t working. Staff are friendly.

The staff was all extremely helpful, warm, and hard-working. The breakfast was nice. Not too crowded and well maintained. The condition of the hotel seemed fine. The mattress was super hard and uncomfortable and I did not sleep well but to be fair I have yet to come across a comfortable mattress in all the midrange places I’ve stayed at in Mexico. It wasn’t outstandingly horrible compared to other hotels in this price range in Mexico. But…. The smell of the cleaning products was enough to ruin my stay. It smelled like a veterinarian exam room. Clean? Sure, but at the price of a near vomit inducing smell from the gross cleaning products they used. Overpowering scent.

The airport shuttle was a bit of a wait but overall fine. Room was in a bit of a state of disrepair. Fixtures missing, the key fob on the door was missing as it was on several doors. It wasn't super clean either. The electricity was a bit dodgy. If more than one charging cable is in, one of the cables won't work. Breakfast - make your own waffle concept was pretty cool but the rest of the food was pretty dire. We only stayed one night so it was fine but if I was staying longer I wouldn't have been happy.

Carlos at the front desk and David in your restaurant were great representations of what makes Marriott great. However, when we got to our room, we discovered that you could not leave a light on or plug-in a night light due to the fact that you had to shut off the main switch at the door in order to shut off the two light fixtures near the bed. We had to turn on our flashlights on our smart phones in order to use the bathroom.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Room was very warm and we couldn’t get it cooler than 22 so sleeping was difficult.

Awesome overall stay! The staffs are so friendly and the front desk, Erick did a very good job in assisting and making arrangements with my tour. The restaurant servers are so friendly and helpful.

Salma checking us in was a bit snippy when she found out we are residents in Playa. We stay here frequently and this was the first negative interaction wet have experience.

Det mesta var jättebra. Rent rum, fint poolområde, trevlig restaurang, bra med transfer till flygplatsen. Det som saknades för 5 stjärnor i betyg var servicen från receptionen. Inte bra skriftlig service/kommunikation innan ankomst och inte 5/5 service väl på plats heller från receptionen

Personal del transporte nos discriminó y subió primero al vehículo a unos extranjeros, pésimo servicio de la persona que contesta el teléfono. Grosera y tardó una hora en llegar

Siempre me quedo aquí pero esta vez me atendieron mal, esperé más de una hora por el transporte del aeropuerto, pasó la van y ni siquiera frenó Llamé a recepción me dijeron "no de preocupe es que manejamos varios tipos de transporte pero ya el muchacho va por uds", pasó más de media hora y nada hasta que volví a llamar me contesto otra chica y dijo que habia pasado hace 45 minutos y no vio a nadie que inclusive se bajó a tomar foto Cuando llegó el chofer se lo reclamé y me dijo que si habia tomado foto, hasta me enseñó una supuesta foto de donde yo estuve ahi parado mas de una hora que estaba todo vacio, foto falsa de otro día! Inaceptable que encima insinue que uno miente! Llegué el 30 de octubre a las 7pm en punto al anden 26 creo que era y hasta las 8:15pm llegué al hotel En el hotel respetuosamente les mencioné esto y solo me dijeron "ah pues disculpe" y ya, no compensaron con nada, es mas me dieron una habitación que el baño olia feo y ni limpiaron bien habia salsa de tomate en la silla del escritorio, tampoco esto nunca me habia pasado aquí y soy cliente Espero que tomen medidas con el personal de ese turno porque arruinan la experiencia, uno que llega cansado de un viaje largo quiere llegar rapido a descansar Al dia siguiente el turno de la mañana todo muy bien y muy amable el personal

Worst front desk ever! Arrived at 215pm and refused to give a room until 3pm. Clearly they had rooms ready at that hour. Because they served another person in front of me but discriminated me. Bathroom was sewer smelling, shower didn't drain. Marriott can certainly do better!

Stayed here for a 9 hour layover between flights. Hotel was useful for its intent - shower and sleep. I wouldn’t stay for long as it is far from town. Does have 24 hour airport transfer.

Nice property. Easy to access from highway. Took public transport into cancun which was easy. Good access to airport.

Hotel was very clean, the shuttle worked as promised and breakfast was ok, oxxo and pharmacy directly outside so for our purpose (staying one night before checking into our main hotel) it was perfect.

Farther away from the airport than we had initially thought. Breakfast was very tasty.

Close to airport and good location

The staffs were welcoming, and pleasant. The hotel is quiet and clean the pick up from the airport was smooth and fast. My only take is that the hotel is some how far away from some beach and sites see. I think they should collaborate with some resort around to give their guest a good tour of the city.

Great location near the airport. Breakfast is good for a free selection. Rooms were clean and the team very helpful.

Convenient for the airport. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Shout out to Gilberto in the restaurant. Pricey but delicious food. Breakfast included which is a bonus. Will stay again.
