Clean room nothing fancy but nothing awful will comeback again for next year’s universal fan fest

Wasn’t the best day first of all didn’t have TV most of the time TV was broken. Ask them to fix it. It would work for a tiny bit and stop then got a room with a hot tub. One of the buttons was broken. Hotel was dirty. The food had to wait 30 minutes for breakfast. Eight people got fed before me and I was there before them and all they can tell me is maybe he called your name and he didn’t hear it definitely would not be staying here again.

As a no-frills, clean and safe place to stay.. it’s perfect. It’s incredibly clean, the beds are so comfy! It was perfect! It’s central and close to all things Hollywood and only 7 minutes to the Universal Studios main gate.

—upon check-in, the desk clerk required a $100 “security deposit” that was never mentioned in the Hotels.com details. This was returned when I checked out but only after the desk clerk went to the room and inspected it — just before checkout time the hotel turned off the water to replace a water heater. I was showering at the time prior to checking out. I was able to get a trickle of water out of the sink to finish rinsing off. By the time I got packed and to the front desk the clerk said the water was back on. It seems very inconsiderate of the hotel to not wait until after checkout time before turning the water off. — the hotel is old and showing its age. The room was dingy and worn

This location is convenient to Universal Studios. It is only a 10 minute drive. It is also near restaurants, CVS, etc. The property itself is old. There is no USB outlet, only the regular outlets. Check in was smooth and the staff was cordial. The main issue we had with our room was the condition of the carpets. It was dirty.
