Good position to get to the QMC campus to avoid traffic parking etc Restaurant was not open so limited menu for evening meal Bed comfortable and bed linen lovely cotton extremely clean Lovely to see no mould in the bathroom like some hotels spacious clean room. Bathroom very clean

EV charging is an issue as there are no onsite chargers. There is one I was advised to use around the corner which had links to the hotel however it was being serviced (there was a sign on it but no sign of activity). Staff are polite and helpful. The beds are small though so difficult for large/tall adult.

There's never enough parking. If you return in your car late at night there are never any spaces left. Check in staff very helpful and pleasant.

The rooms and facilities are really dated. Average bed comfort. Gym was in poor condition and machines need replacement or upgrading. This was on the higher side for costs would have stayed somewhere else.

Very clean accommodation and as we were only there for 1 night that's all we needed really. The only downside was the very limited bar menu for food. It wasn't the full bar menu and there were only 4 or so options. Other than that, all was fine

Great Location. Spacious rooms. Staff courteous. Lovely view of lake with Koi. Really Nice. Only problem restaurant was shut for refurbishment and Expedia has sold me breakfast despite the fact they couldn't cook it.

My room was lovely and clean and the cleaning lady folded up my towels and things and made it nice the next morning after I had rushed out leaving them on the chair which she really didn’t have to do! So thank you. Spokes cafe also allowed Luna my dog in to be with me for breakfast and lunch the next day. We had a few lovely walks round the water and enjoyed the pretty area of the university. Reception lady was lovely as well. A good stay!

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good. The room was basic but comfortable. On the downside, the bathroom sink taps are very noisy when turned on, and disturb people in nearby rooms. The car park was full but we were able to park nearby.

We love jubilee abd this is our 4th stay here. However room 242 did smell very musty. Not sure whether it was shower contain or maybe carpets if dogs had been there. I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want the hassle of moving rooms and overall the staff are so friendly here and location perfect.

Great option if you need to be close to University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus. Plenty of parking space right in front of the hotel, kind and welcoming front desk staff. Clean and well kept hotel. Flexipass key system is a good idea in theory but terrible in practice. We were styaing two people in a double room, but the system allows only one key, which was a major inconvenience. We had to get physical keys in the end. Also, the NFC for Flexipass is generally hit or miss. It may work at other places or rooms, but it was erratic for our room. Apart from this, there was a strange smell in the room, which I think was coming from the carpet. We had two rooms and only one had this problem, so I think it was an isolated case, but still...

Great stay. Easy parking, spacious hotel, incredibly friendly staff. Easy check in. Nice rooms and very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. We were staying for a very short period as we were attending a sporting event and the hotel served its purpose. The reception staff in the morning wished my daughter luck and were really attentive and friendly. Wasn’t clear from the booking site that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant so we had to walk to a pub at the end of the road. It does have a cafe but not enough choice to have an evening meal there. But you can order a takeaway to the hotel if you want. I thought we had a patio when we arrived but the doors only open slightly to allow some air in, this was needed though as the rooms are nice and warm. Only real negative was we had a twin room and the beds moved loads when you sat on them… really annoying and we nearly slid off because of this. Maybe some breaks needed to be put on the wheels.

Convenient location for visiting University and only £6 taxi into city centre plus many buses. Beautiful outdoor space and bar area, pity room was disappointing.Room was small and airless as window only opened a crack and into an internal area, no view. Noisy corridors due to doors that bang loudly when shutting so not a great night’s sleep.

Very convenient for university of Nottingham - it's a twenty minute walk to the main campus or a five minute drive. Received a very warm welcome from the staff at Check-in and was given some advice about eating and they also happily answered all of my questions. The entrance is stylish, the room is functional and modern. Very clean. Lots of free parking on site. The only let down is that you can hear a lot of noise in the room. So as people walk past in the corridor ir next door, you hear clearly what they are saying. If you are a light sleeper, other peoples doors banging through the night or early morning will disturb your sleep. On balance would still book again and bring some ear plugs :-)

Plenty of availability. Good parking. Lack of restaurant in the evening is an issue, and breakfast in Spokes was poor and not great value. The hotel is noisy - heavy fire doors shutting all night, and if you have a room overlooking the lake be prepared for an early morning wake up from the resident geese. The beds are on wheels which can be dangerous, as they slide around when getting in/out. Reception staff clearly have an issue with Expedia bookings and prefer you to book direct. Would only stay again if nowhere else available.

Rooms poorly soundproofed, cheap scratchy linen, no air-con or ability to fully open a window for fresh air, shower head came up to chest height. VIP benefits were not honoured, wouldn't recommend.

Unable to contact the hotel to change the booking, the phone not answered for 6 hours on the day, even after hotels.com tried to contact the hotel manager for three days, they too got no reply

Wonderful stay, had a lovely greeting on arrival from Courtney on the main desk. Spacious room with a huge comfy bed, nice crisp clean linen with different pillow types. Bathroom was spotless with huge fluffy towels and nice smelling shower soaps. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, whilst not the buffet as advertised purely down to there being only a few having it and me being in at 7 sharp the table served plate was sufficient and as always the usual buffet pastries etc were available. All of the staff I had the pleasure to converse with were fantastic.

Noisy at times with groups of children not being supervised and running along corridors and banging doors late at night. Reception had to be contacted. Very limited food options, breakfast was repetitive, bar food very limited and stopped early. No bar snacks available. Some of the staff brilliant, others just managed a greeting. When advised the shower in the bathroom would be dealt with, no action was taken. This wold be a good overnight stop, convenient for business or the university, not ideal for longer.

The room was spotless with nice big towels and comfortable beds. Checked in online but never received the code to use FLEXIPASS which caused some confusion at reception when we arrived but otherwise it was a good stay, we had everything we needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This is my go to hotel whenever i have a night out in nottingham. Lovely location, ample parking, friendly staff and not far from the centre, but far enough to avoid the disturbances soundwise.

travellers not coming by their own car should know to tell the taxi to enter via triumph Rd. My uber dropped me at the end of Kenyan Rd at 2 am in the morning and I had to figure out where to go carrying baggage. It was about 600 m in the dark Lucky the phone app worked that night as it didn't work any day after even after resetting it and getting a new code On at least three occasions I reported the shower leaking. It drips loud enough to hear it in the bedroom. Nothing was done about it, probably still dripping and they say England is short of water Another morning it sounds like the fire alarm went off as the fire curtains came down. No advice, no communication Location is poor and not near the tram unless you are at a conference there. Overall a poor experience

I did not like trying to get to the hotel which is situated on the grounds a public university. One entrance from a main Street was blocked off and you had to go find another one to get into it There is a big sign at this entrance to the university that points to you to the hotel and the GPS send you there. If they're not going to open that one access then they need to put a sign saying this side is closed and brief description of how to get to the property. Parking was terrible but all parking in England is

One night stay to attend nearby Splendour festival. Hotel was ideally located for Wollaton Park with a pub and takeaways close by. I thought it was excellent value with very clean, spacious and light room. Comfortable with everything you need!

Was not a bad base for the city centre, bit on the outskirts. Biggest complaint was the lack of air conditioning, it's a fairly new building, and the bar prices. Best part was the breakfast - first class.

Chef in spokes went above and beyond to cater for my dietary issues. Or perhaps was spot on, but ahead of all others... knew what he needed to know about allergens and didnt make me feel a nuisance just trying to avoid being unwell.
