Impressive Premium Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Séjour à Impressive Premium parfait ! Complexe magnifique, plage et piscine parfaitement entretenues, chambre spacieuse, les différents restaurants et buffets sont top, mention spéciale pour le restaurant japonais. On peut toujours faire mieux sans doute, mais dans ces prix-là Impressive mérite un 10/10.

We had an amazing vacation at this hotel!! While some reviews we saw before booking were a bit concerning, we’re glad we did not follow them! 1. Food: the food is amazing, you get to eat local food!! This is a great place to go if you want to eat plantains, all types of beans and grilled meat, and many other local dishes. This is not the place to go if you’re looking to eat burgers, pizza and pasta, although they serve them daily as well. 2. Staff: all the staff is really friendly, always smiling and saying hi. Many complained that they “only” speak Spanish..but how many foreign languages do are spoken in North America and Europe? The hotel is kept really cleaned daily, there are many pools, and great access to the beach. The gym is really great too. The hotel maintains gardens around buildings, which makes it really nice to walk around.

I would like to elaborate on our very unfortunate experience at the property. Air Conditioning: The first room we checked into had air conditioning issues where the temp in the room was 80 degrees and did not go lower. After three attempts to fix this in two days, I insisted that we move to another room. The resort made us wait without a room for six hours before we were allowed to use the second room. In the second room, the air conditioner did not function again. Again they attempted three times to fix this second room and we had to insist on another third room. In this case the temperature in the room was over 80 degrees. For three out of 5 nights we could not sleep because of the heat on the room. Finally the third room has sufficient air conditioning. Restaurants: It was impossible to make reservations for restaurants on the first night. Restaurants were small and always fully booked. The only other option was the cafeteria where the food was substandard at best. The premium lounge breakfast was the only place we could enjoy a meal. Even with premium accommodation drinks were watered down, wine was the cheapest money could buy, and there was only one beer selection. Nor right for premium guests. Our assigned butler Lory was great. She tried to help, but I could see management did not care about premium customers. She tried to make things more pleasant, but management prevented her attempts for help. The beach was riddled with seaweed. Lots more and no space.

Todo el hotel muy bien, el servicio, la comida pero el atractivo principal que es la playa esta llena de sargazo.

Highly recommended to book the premium suites. They are more spacious and have an amazing bathroom/shower. Biggest con was the buffet food. There was a lot of options but the food was not flavored the best. Loved that the beach was so close to our suite. Loved the entertainment crew on the resort; they had us lit and apart of every event during our stay. We will be back!

From check in to check out, service is poor and slow, staff are generally surly. Hotel sits right on the beach which is great, stretches of the beach to either side of the hotel are not well maintained and there is a lot of trash.

Horrible horrible week we had. Do not recommend this hotel. Food was awful, buffet and specialty restaurants. Staff was okay but mostly rude. Our room was very loud we could hear everything. Cleaning service passed twice during our one week. We had to call them to come and when they decided to come it was at 5pm or 730am when we were in the room … made absolutely no sense. The hotel got worse by the day. Drain in the shower didn’t work. Cockroaches in the bathtub. Honestly one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at. Definitely not a 4.5-5 star hotel.

I stayed at Impressive Hotel, and my experience was truly amazing. Service: The staff were very respectful, always responded quickly and politely. Many of them speak English, which made everything easier. Food & Drinks: The buffet and snack areas are open for 3–4 hours in the morning, at lunch, and in the evening. Water in the room was free of charge. There are plenty of restaurants and shops available. Cleanliness & Facilities: Everything was spotless. The bathrooms are new and shining, and the beach is clean and beautiful. Gratitude: Honestly, I didn’t find any weaknesses; everything was well organized and professional. Suggestion: If the hotel could offer halal meat, it would be perfect for Muslim guests from Toronto, the US, and around the world. This would bring even more guests and an excellent future for the hotel. I am very thankful for my stay at Impressive Hotel and highly recommend it.

Leider gab es viele Probleme beim Check-in. Das vor 10 Monaten gebuchte und bezahlte Zimmer mit zwei getrennten Betten war nicht verfügbar. Wir mussten zweimal das Zimmer wechseln. Das dritte Zimmer (am dritten Tag) hatte Schimmel im Bad (an der Decke und hinter dem Spiegel) sowie oberhalb der Kleiderschränke. Tagsüber gab es mehrmals Lärm durch die Animation am Pool. Auch die Verständigung war schwierig: Das Personal spricht fast ausschließlich Spanisch, nur wenige Mitarbeitende verfügen über Englischkenntnisse. Da etwa 70 % der Gäste aus Lateinamerika stammen, ist das Hotel entsprechend ausgerichtet. Der Strand war sehr schön und sauber (sehr wenig Algen, die schnell entfernt wurden). Die Palmen reichen bis ans Meer, wirklich schön und eher selten in Punta Cana. Der Premium-Strand ist besonders ruhig und gepflegt. Die Hotelanlage ist insgesamt sehr ansprechend. Die Gebäude sind schön gestaltet und laden zu Spaziergängen ein. Leider gibt es keine klare Trennung zwischen dem Impressive Premium-Bereich und dem normalen Hotelbereich. Die Gebäude sind gemischt, was aus der Hotelbeschreibung nicht hervorging – wir hatten hier eine klare Abgrenzung erwartet. Das Essen war gut, sowohl im Buffetrestaurant als auch in den 6 À-la-carte-Restaurants (Reservierung erforderlich). Die Cocktails wirkten jedoch künstlich – das bekannte karibische Coco-Getränk kam aus der Maschine und schmeckte nur mittelmäßig. Insgesamt leider nicht der entspannte Traumurlaub am Strand, den wir uns wünschten

La comida estaba expuesta a muchas moscas y algunos meseros o maleteros a pesar de su mala atención se paraban sin moverse hasta recibir propina, el cuarto no tenia olor a limpio.

Bares em todos os lugares e muito bons com atendimento em fila e rapido. Um único garçom do bar da praia na área premium q era muito desagradável, mas foi fato isolado.

The food wasn't good at all and the rooms didn't give a 'resort' look and feel at all. I had stains on my towels and many issues with the air conditioning working within my room. The best part of the resort was the beach and the convenient locations of the bars around the resort.

Restaurants: It was impossible to make reservations for restaurants on the first night. Restaurants were small and always fully booked. The only other option was the cafeteria where the food was substandard at best. The premium lounge breakfast was the only place we could enjoy a meal. Even with premium accommodation drinks were watered down, wine was the cheapest money could buy, and there was only one beer selection. Nor right for premium guests. Our assigned butler Lory was great. She tried to help, but I could see management did not care about premium customers. She tried to make things more pleasant, but management prevented her attempts for help. The beach was riddled with seaweed. Lots more and no space.

Our stay was ok, only issue we had was them not having our room we booked available on checkin. I believe that is due to the fact that they allow people to upgrade when they arrive and don’t prioritize those that have these rooms already booked. So we had to pack up and change to our booked room the next day which was a bit of a hassle.

The property is beautiful however our room did not have good working air conditioning until it was almost time for us to leave so we was there three days with poor working air conditioner and two days with good working air conditioning. Every day I made my butler aware that the AC was not working we was told there’s no rooms available. We was told all they fixed it however it was not fixed until my husband told them to add freon which was on Thursday. Thursday they added freon and the air conditioner worked wonderfully Thursday and Friday Saturday we departed From the resort. Overall the resort is great and the entertainment was awesome.

OMG I just returned to America and I just day I look forward to returning with my family! This was a solo trip and I really enjoyed the experience!! My room over exceeded my expectations!! Corner unit with a Jacuzzi on the beach.... PERFECT for me!!! I am so happy🌴

The restaurant at night was good but buffet needs to improve. My room air conditioner stopped working a few times and no mirrors in the my bedroom.

The property besides being beautiful is well maintained. I was very pleased with the staff service in all areas except the premium front desk staff. They should all be retrained or get rid off, starting for the manager that was there on my arrival on 2/23/23 afternoon. The room was very nice but the beds were too hard. I had requested a queen size bed and I was given a double bed. I honestly think that they do not treat some guests from Expedia very well. They just try to accommodate them in the rooms less sellable. This my second time booking thru expedia and I don't think I will do any more. I honestly do not know if this review helps.

Muy mala experiencia a la llegada del hotel, no tenían personal idóneo para ver la información de las reservaciones y pedía que se pagara la totalidad de la estadía cash, sin garantía de devolución, cuando se pagó por adelantado al momento de hacer la reserva anticipadamente. Nos dejaron toda la madrugada en el lobby. Pudimos ver que no fuimos los únicos clientes afectados por su desorganización. Reconozco la buena disposición del personal de hoteles.com que se mantuvo pendiente de mi caso, lamentablemente el personal del hotel llegó a la mañana siguiente. No recomiendo este hotel, la atención al cliente es pésima.

Hotel muito bom mais os funcionários que distribui a bebida só atende bem quem dá gorjetas. Você estando na fila que tiver grana passa na frente horrível isto. Teve caso de negar a bebida devido a um casal dar gorjeta ao atendente.

Elegimos Impressive premium y fue la mejor desición. Para los restaurantes que no habia espacio el mayordomo Jobrailyn Cedeño nos ayudo a conseguir reservacion en todos y siempre estaba pendiente de nuestras necesidades. La comida fue muy buena, para el buffet recomiendo ir a la hora de apertura porque si no despues hay mucho revulú en el buffet. El entretenimiento muy bueno pero deberian incluir mas actividades y musica hispana/latina. En la piscina premium Juan es el mejor bartender.

The personal butler at the preium level is fantastic, we recommend you work to get Wilbher or Delvis, their absolute best!

Fue ideal para mi estadía, estaba participando del torneo de playa que se realizó en playa los corales. Estoy verificando si puedo ir el próximo fin de semana y viendo costos de hotel y vuelos

Nice and quiet. A great place to relax and read a book. Staff is very nice. Loved the premium package.

Spur of the moment & only saw neg reviews after booking. don't know what they were talking about! Lovely well maintained resort w/ great staff & perfect ocean. Front desk did suggest an upgrade from "ocean view" to "ocean front". Not expensive & well worth it. Food is what one expects in the Caribbean, but plenty of very fresh veggies. A solid 4 star resort at 3 star prices.

Boa estadia, apesar de que eu esperava mais... Pontos negativos: O principal são funcionários de outras empresas que ficam dentro do resort querendo nos vender passeios e cotas, sendo alguns deles muito insistentes e até inconvenientes; Maioria das comidas muito exóticas até mesmo nos cafés da manhã; alguns restaurantes temáticos deixam a desejar, como por exemplo o restaurante italiano que praticamente não tem massas; pouca opção de bebidas não alcoólicas nos bares e muita opção para quem bebe álcool; sobremesas deixam a desejar, principalmente por quase não ter sorvetes e picolés. . Pontos positivos: os funcionários na sua maioria são muito solícitos; quarto limpo e cama king confortável; organização e cumprimento de horários em todos os pontos do resort.

The resort was beautiful but very chintzy. Could not get a cocktail in the restaurants even though we were all inclusive. Employees were rude and most did not speak English. Could not get ice in the room unless you went down to the bar and retrieved some yourself. Food was terrible.

This resort seemed promising and affordable after our other resort got closed for renovations. Unfortunately, it was everything but that.. everyone on the trip got food poisoning; they often served under cooked meats (raw chicken!!!), and I am skeptical as to whether or not they cooked with bottled water. Also, the staff was not very friendly and welcoming, except the staff around the premium pool. Juan, Cappuccino, and some of the ladies working the premium pool were so fun and inviting, but nobody else in the resort was. Someone from our group also got a bad ear infection after going under water at the pools. All in all it was fine but it could’ve (and should’ve) been so much better. SIDE NOTE: a couple from our party moved rooms FOUR TIMES because of multiple issues; broken A/C units in rooms, double beds instead of one king (they are a couple), etc etc. Our ocean front room was amazing except that the A/C also did not work great and mosquitos kept coming in through a crack under the sliding room door.

Food was nasty and trying to be American but failed.
