It feels like you are staying at a botanical garden surrounded by hibiscus and other plants with nearby native animals in the surrounding rainforest. We were awakened by the call of howler monkeys and the peeps of geckos every morning at sunrise, and saw toucans and other birds nesting in nearby tress during the day - mostly early morning and near dusk. Also families of howler monkeys in the trees. The hotel area includes a trail (about 1.5 km) into the rainforest and across a creek that is well maintained and similar to those at Silencio or Mistico. The buffet breakfast was fantastic!

The road inside is not paved, is a dirt road. The cabins are big with lots of space. This property is very small with 12 or 14 cabins only. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of food and very tasty. we liked everything they prepared, On the back of the property they have a trail that end in a river , very nice walk. The property is literally at the foot of the Arenal volcano, you will have astonish view from your front porch.

Great place! Big room, comfortable king bed, hot shower, mini fridge, large hot tub in room (didnt use). 1.5 mile hiking trail, well kept, saw a cinnamon-colored coyote, birds, ants, mosquitos. Good breakfast included. Would have a great view of Arenal on a clear day.

Miguel made check-in very easy, the room was immaculate (great bathroom and beds), and the trail on the property is a real treat. After going to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve previously, I prefer this trail over that one -- tons of frogs and lizards.

Beautiful property with view of volcano from porch. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gorgeous hiking trail on property. For dinner heads up there is no restaurant onsite so may want to plan ahead on where to eat dinner. Breakfast was excellent.

This property is in a beautiful area a few miles from town. The views of Aranal where great. The bungalow we stayed in had ripped sheets, was very outdated, not much hot water. Felt like it was decorated or built in the early 90's. I will be back to La Fortuna, but I would not stay there again. The breakfast was good.

We had a very special 3-night stay at Hotel Campo Verde. Very accessible, it sits right off the main road, yet feels like a remote getaway. Each cabin provides the privacy of a single home, complete with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Beautiful interior, spacious bathroom and shower, and strong air conditioning in the bedroom. All of the staff are incredibly gracious and hospitable, starting with the clerk at Reception, who offered many tips on local attractions tailored to our interests. The free daily Costa Rican breakfast had a variety of offerings, filling us with all the protein, fruit, and carbs we needed for an active day. The cleaning staff were so nice, and we took advantage of the laundry service -- brought our clothes to Reception in the morning, and they were washed and folded for us later the same day. The property is well-maintained daily, with neatly manicured grounds, yet the native trees, shrubs, and flowers are bountiful. There is an amazing immersive jungle hike in the back, a huge bonus for us on our final morning.

We booked a Volcano view room and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location and the room was comfortable and clean. The grounds had gorgeous flowers all around. Would have stayed a second night if they had availability. Breakfast was also pleasant.

es sind schöne Häuser die sehr geräumig sind, kleine Küchenzeile ist vorhanden. alles ist sauber und ordentlich das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Massage auf dem Zimmer war super. Wlan in meinem Zimmer war leider nur auf der Terrasse ordentlich zu benutzen. Sonnst sehr zu empfehlen.

Super clean, comfortable cabins with great AC, views of the beautiful grounds and Volcán Arenal right out of your window and porch. Great surprise trail on the property for a short hike, super close to the amazing Místico hanging bridge park, hot springs and town of La Fortuna. Highly recommended.

Amazing piece, right in the middle of the nature. Beautiful big room, renovated bathroom, hot water. Safe, fridge and coffee maker in the room. We also had a sitting area with the sofa. Very comfy bed. Excellent traditional breakfast. Nice patio to sit outside and watch birds (lots of hummingbirds, toucans etc.). Very good own hiking trail.

A lovely hotel with great views of the volcano and a super breakfast every morning. We especially appreciated the night tour that was set up for us. Wow - what an amazing experience! Jonas, the guide, had a great eye and we saw so much wildlife including a baby sloth and so much more. He explained the ecosystem of the jungle. Not only did he provide us with so many facts and sights but also so many smiles and laughs. It was the highlight of our trip. Would highly recommend. Thx so much again Jonas!! If you are staying here be sure to request Jonas for the night tour.

This place is amazing!!! Gorgeous property with beautiful vegetation and birds all around. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. It’s close enough to the town to shop and go to dinner but far enough away that you don’t get the noise or business. The town is literally 4 minutes away though. Bed was comfy, casita was spacious, everything wad clean. And the view of the volcano when the clouds clean is spectacular!!

beautiful property! you feel like you’re truly one with nature on this property. you wake up to the jungle sounds, like bird sounds and rainfall, which also happen throughout the night (bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise). very friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. staff provide room service everyday. one thing to note: front desk staff are only really available around 7 am to 9 pm costa rican time but when they are available, they’re easy to talk to for help. fast wi-fi in each casita! only downside I found was that if you don’t rent a car (each casita has an assigned parking space), you’ll have to lug your own luggage from the front desk area all the way to your casita, which can be under the rain and over volcanic rocks and uneven pavement. 8.5/10 experience!

The breakfast you get here is delicious and includes fresh fruits everyday. Staff is super helpful and can book all tours in La Fortuna for you at the best prices. We had a great vacation here and would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

We had a very special 3-night stay at Hotel Campo Verde. Very accessible, it sits right off the main road, yet feels like a remote getaway. Each cabin provides the privacy of a single home, complete with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Beautiful interior, spacious bathroom and shower, and strong air conditioning in the bedroom. All of the staff are incredibly gracious and hospitable, starting with the clerk at Reception, who offered many tips on local attractions tailored to our interests. The free daily Costa Rican breakfast had a variety of offerings, filling us with all the protein, fruit, and carbs we needed for an active day. The cleaning staff were so nice, and we took advantage of the laundry service -- brought our clothes to Reception in the morning, and they were washed and folded for us later the same day. The property is well-maintained daily, with neatly manicured grounds, yet the native trees, shrubs, and flowers are bountiful. There is an amazing immersive jungle hike in the back, a huge bonus for us on our final morning.

This place is amazing!!! Gorgeous property with beautiful vegetation and birds all around. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. It’s close enough to the town to shop and go to dinner but far enough away that you don’t get the noise or business. The town is literally 4 minutes away though. Bed was comfy, casita was spacious, everything wad clean. And the view of the volcano when the clouds clean is spectacular!!

The property is very well kept, with lovely plants that attract all types of birds to watch with the Arenal volcano in the backdrop. Our villa was comfy and had a porch that allowed one to sip coffee and enjoy the view. It is also close to the excursions we chose to do, with a great breakfast buffet with local and traditional options to choose from. Would highly recommend!

Super clean, comfortable cabins with great AC, views of the beautiful grounds and Volcán Arenal right out of your window and porch. Great surprise trail on the property for a short hike, super close to the amazing Místico hanging bridge park, hot springs and town of La Fortuna. Highly recommended.

We fell in love with this place. Great location, close to everything. So many birds and flowers, and toucans, and ... you name it. Breakfast was nice. We loved the room. Such a cozy place. We would come back for sure.

It feels like you are staying at a botanical garden surrounded by hibiscus and other plants with nearby native animals in the surrounding rainforest. We were awakened by the call of howler monkeys and the peeps of geckos every morning at sunrise, and saw toucans and other birds nesting in nearby tress during the day - mostly early morning and near dusk. Also families of howler monkeys in the trees. The hotel area includes a trail (about 1.5 km) into the rainforest and across a creek that is well maintained and similar to those at Silencio or Mistico. The buffet breakfast was fantastic!

The road inside is not paved, is a dirt road. The cabins are big with lots of space. This property is very small with 12 or 14 cabins only. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of food and very tasty. we liked everything they prepared, On the back of the property they have a trail that end in a river , very nice walk. The property is literally at the foot of the Arenal volcano, you will have astonish view from your front porch.

Awesome stay, wonderful view of the volcano from the rooms. The property is so green, so beautiful that it is difficult to describe it in words. The breakfast you get here is delicious and includes fresh fruits everyday. Staff is super helpful and can book all tours in La Fortuna for you at the best prices. We had a great vacation here and would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Beautiful property with view of volcano from porch. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gorgeous hiking trail on property. For dinner heads up there is no restaurant onsite so may want to plan ahead on where to eat dinner. Breakfast was excellent.

The property is beautiful. The room is a bungalow style with very thin walls. You can hear everything which didn’t help with sleep. Between the rain storms and the animal sounds you hear everything. While it’s super pretty it’s a hard place to get sleep. The breakfast was good but the same every day. Overall not a bad place to stay if you are a deep sleeper.

A beautiful setting with a wonderful.cabin with A/C, internet, fridge, etc. So many exotic birds to see and hear including toucans, great carrasow, hummingbirds, thrushes and more. Gorgeous flowering plants on the grounds with fabulous view of the Arenal Volcano.
