We LOVED this hotel. Clean, quiet, comfortable, great location, pleasant staff. My only complaint was that the fitness center didn't open until 8:30 am. (I like to work out at 0600.) But aside from that, everything was terrific!! The pool & hot tub were clean and nice. Breakfast with waffles... my favorite. And the coffee was good. Overall an EXCELLENT stay. Pets loved it, too! Thank you, Mary and staff. You are awesome!

I was in Lubbock two nights. Good service from staff. Facilities were in good shape. New pool area looks good. But the second night, past midnight, loud laughing and a barking dog close to my room was unpleasant. Went on about 30 minutes. This is the second time dogs barking late. Apparently Best Western caters to barking dog owners.

Swimming pool and hot tub is closed for construction which would have been nice if the property would have some kind of update on their Expedia profile to inform their customers about the current construction. The swimming pool and hot tub was the reason why I booked the hotel.

They didnt advise us the poo and hot tub was CLOSED and being renovated and in the room there was a roach crawling on the bed by my daughters head while she was laying down. This is ridiculous

We checked in around 10pm. Our hotel room was dirty. There were hairs on the only 2 bath towels in our bathroom. Lots of hair on the floors and in the corner. There was an old, wet paper towel of some kind on the side of the tub. The room smelled musty and the mattress was lumpy. We bought air fresheners. We were in town for Parents Weekend at Tech. It was just my husband and I so we struggled through it but had rates everywhere not been sky-high for the family event, we would have changed hotels on day 1. Do not stay if you have kids crawling/walking on the floor or that want to touch everything. There was a roach in our sink when we checked in and I saw another one in the lobby.

What was not amazing about my stay is that the room was not clean. The AC wall unit was dirty and old. It would not shut down, cob webs & fries were found next to the unit and under. To top it off there was a dead roach under it. I stayed there for 2 nights and on the second day as I was leaving for work I notified the front desk of the issues and they told me that housekeeping would go in and clean it out. Well when I got back around 7 pm, the issues were not taken care of. Very disappointing. The bathroom was also a disappointment. The shower head had lime and almost rust on it, and the wall looked like someone had hung themselves on it.

The room had a horrible smell. Thankfully my mom brought febreeze and Lysol. I had a candle but it did not cover the awful smell completely. 300 was a ridiculous price for a nasty smelling room. The phone was not working and disgusting when I picked it up to try and call the front desk.

Arrived late & tired. Check in was fast. Pulled covers to get into bed and dirty sock was under cover. Quickly went to lobby & hotel staff on duty walked to room to see it. given another room. But, why was there a dirty sock under covers? Either covers on bed were dirty & not switched out between guests, hence dirty sock? Or was sock washed along with covers & that's how it ended up in what should be a clean bed? It was gross & should not have happened.

Bed bugs. Roaches. This place is infested and staff did not care. They offered to switch rooms. I got to the new room, dirty, noisy, cheap, and smelly. Go elsewhere, it's worth a few dollars more.

It was so bad, the sheets and the bed spread was stained, the floors have not been moped in to telling how long. I spilt my drink on the floor i picked it up with a white paper towel and the towel was black with hair on it. And to top it off i had a puppy with me and she found a broken crack pipe and a pen.

Booked this property because of parent’s weekend at Texas Tech. Prices for rooms are astronomical and a complete case of greedy hotel honors price gouging. When we checked in the first room had an air conditioner that did not work at all. They moved us to another room but that air conditioner did not work well and the room was very warm all night. There is not decaf coffee offered with breakfast so you have to make it in the room and the coffee maker was broken in our room. Then the morning of checkout the toilet stopped flushing. When we informed the staff they basically shrugged it off. Very frustrating experience.

The room was large and comfortable. In the bathroom towels, soap and such was in place. However, only shampoo was available. The coffee set was fine, except no packet of sweetener, creamer, or stir sticks. The desk had the hotel information on a laminated notice. There was some chocolate (?) smudges on the reverse side, as well as on the placard No Smoking Room. I would have been nice to have access to a USB port. I have praise for Mykara, the evening desk associate. When I arrived she was on the phone helping with a reservation. She acknowledged my presence and continued with the phone conversation. I looked around the lobby, picked out some local interest packets. The call took 5 minutes or so. Anyway, Mykara, took time to answer all questions politely and thoroughly. Later, she helped me with finding stores and gave directions. Very nice and professional.

The property was very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem was the hot water. There was little to none. When reported they said others had reported it as well and they were trying to get maintenance out. That was the only negative. But the positives outweighed the negative. Will definitely stay here again if I come back thru Lubbock. The staff was incredible. Kudos to each of the front desk staff.

Breakfast starts late. Check in is at 3pm and when I got there at 3pm they told me my room won’t be ready until after 4pm. After a long 9 hour travel, I still had to wait to go to my room until after 4pm. They should be already cleaned.

When we arrived the lady by the name of Stephanie was very rude. She said your room is not ready or clean this was at 430 when we arrived. Then she gave us another room went in there and the tv only came on with one channel. Remote didn’t work or volume on tv. We asked if we could get another tv or switch she said no with an attitude. I would not recommend staying here. The employee Stephanie needs to be trained on customer service skills. I will not be staying at this establishment again. I would not recommend this to no one.

Friendly staff and super easy check in/out. Did find a bug crawling up a wall in the hallway. Air conditioner in my room needs some kind of service as it was quite loud when the compressor shuts off. Road noise is expected since it’s right next to the highway. Breakfast was nice and hot. Actual eggs and sausage. Not just bagels and cereal. Added bonus: The staff was kind enough to let me park my motorcycle under their front awning overnight as long as it didn’t block traffic.

Hotel located right off main road--easy on and off property. Couldn't get volume to work on tv first day, and the shower was difficult to turn on. Also a small trash can would've been nice to have in main room. Other than those few comments the hotel was very nice and staff was friendly and helpful. Breafast area was nice, clean and had a great assortment of breakfast foods.

Front desk put me on the first floor on the backside of the building. WAY quieter than the side facing I-27. As with my first visit, super friendly staff. I’d stay here again. They even let me park my motorcycle under the front awning.
