This is a cute little motel style room. The room is clean enough. The room was freezing upon arrival. The little heater had a hard time keeping up. The parking is tight. We have a big truck and it was hard to get in a spot where we weren’t sticking out. We like a table in our room-#7 doesn’t have one. But, it does have a good size fridge.

Overall this was a nice place to stay. Some things that could be noted to fix/improve right off the bat, we stayed in unit 8: The shower isn’t sealed at the shower door so it will leak onto the floor and there bath mats do not soak up very well. Bathroom sink drains VERY slowly. The jetted tub does not “jet”, power button seemed stuck; also filled very slowly. There’s no area ventilation unless you open the windows or use the heater. Our unit was LITERALLY a studio which was fine for our veer short stay. Included a mini fridge microwave and a little keurig oh and tv. We were able to check in a couple hours early thank goodness but always call ahead to ask. The unit was VERY VERY clean upon arrival. Bed was comfortable. Although kept hearing knocks on the door throughout the night. Walls are thin, so you will hear your neighbors tv and mumbled conversations. Apart from everything else, the water pressure was great and water temperature was phenomenal too. Parking is tight, so if you’re driving something bigger than a small SUV street parking will be your friend. Walkable to the beach and downtown area. We would stay here again but in a different unit!

Positives: interior overall looked clean & recently updated. I could log into streaming services on the t.v. Beds were both comfortable. Not so great: Exterior seemed run down. Parking spots are very tight. Neighborhood was a few blocks from the main tourist area and the houses were very close to each other. The exterior door & walls seemed pretty thin. My kids did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed right next to the front door. Bad: Shower tile grout was black with what seemed like mold. It was not dark grout as parts were white. Nobody wanted to take a shower. No welcome packet & it seemed like management cares more for their other properties as no one is available on site nor do they answer phone or return calls. Emails were answered a day later. Too late if you're only staying one night. We were asked to drive to sister property to register after we already left the property next morning. The following week I was able to book much nicer, better located room in an updated hotel down the street for less than what I booked for this place. Will just wait to book & avoid this place next time.

Parking is tight quarters. I think it would be a problem. If the place was sold out the bed super comfortable probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in in a motel. The outside looks mediocre but the insides are really nice.

The upgraded rooms are nice. However, the floors were extremely dirty, orange soap scum in shower, ants coming through the high crack between the door and the wall, broken transition strip to the bathroom and a nail sticking out of a chair. The room really needs a deep cleaning.

Pretty place and cute design. Only concern was cleanliness as there was random stray hair around- bathroom sink area, in fridge and on table when we first arrived. The backsplash of the kitchens was splashed with food and the walls and woodwork in general were in need of some actual cleaning. The floor was also a bit dirty/gritty upon arrival as well. That said we will still consider this spot again in hopes that this was just a one off day as it wouldn't take more than an additional 10 minutes to do better. Recommend bring a container of cleaning wipes just in case.

Parking was terrible. The rooms were cute. But the only things clean were the towels and bedding. The rooms were so dirty. Hair everywhere, dust everywhere. It just was so dirty.

Close to the ocean, lovely inside, quiet, VERY clean, and best of all the nicest employees who were gracious when I locked my keys inside the unit right after checking in. I will come back here and recommend it to anybody. Thank you Beachside Inn for a truly PERFECT stay!!!!!!

This place used to be a great place to stay and was one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Seaside, but not after the experience we had recently. To start with, I was overcharged for my stay. When I booked the room it was one price but when they charged my card it was a different price. I thought it was maybe a hold for something, because that does happen, and it would be adjusted to the correct amount. That was not the case. Upon arrival, the hotel was filthy and clearly wasn't cleaned before our stay. Floors has layer of dirt caked on, area rugs throughout were full of sand and dirt, dirty dishes in kitchen, absolutely disgusting bathroom with dirt IN the jets of the tub and pink water mold all along the bottom of the shower curtain, bathroom sink didn't drain. The Internet did not work at all the entire stay, couldn't watch anything on TV and couldn't use my laptop, which I needed to have for work while I was there. I reached out to the property 3 separate times about the issues and finally received a response on the morning we were leaving. The property manager was extremely rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. They denied any fault, refused any type of compensation for the condition of the hotel, including my request to be moved to a different room, wouldn't provide an email to send the proof I had (pictures and videos). Overall terrible experience, don't waste your money!

Would have been nice to know that this property has mice. Woke up to mice in the kitchen area in the middle of the night. There were a bunch of aunts in the kitchen. The floors were so dirty that after just one walk on the floor the socks and the feet were literally dark grey. Felt like the floors never get mopped there. Half the windows were not operative that’s on top of no air conditioner. There are holes under the entry door and on the side of the door, as well as on the floor in the entry doorway. So my guess is that’s where the mice come in from. Still crazy to me that this property rents with the current condition and mice. I never write bad reviews but this is the time where I can’t keep quiet about it. My family’s getaway was ruined and we did not enjoy our stay here. All though the beds were very comfortable. And sheets were clean.

Very hard to get ahold of this motel. Old and dirty. Microwave, fridge, stove , coffee pot did not work. Had to call maintenance morning of check out just have coffee. There is no seating to watch the only tv in living area. One small child size love seat. Floor looked to have old dog piss around the love seat. Shower had black mold . Nothing had been dusted in a long time. No A/C ! Don’t waste your money here. Motel 6 is way better!

Just a few blocks from the promenade and the beach. Parking right outside the door. Room was small, with just a single chair and no desk or table. WiFi was unusably slow for uploading at all times of day. No AC but a strong fan, and the room cooled off right away with doors and windows open once the sun went down.

Internet connection was inconsistent/non-existent and received no response from management when notified (Labor Day weekend). Shower water leaked through door over bathroom floor. Had to lay a couple towels down beforehand to catch the water. Otherwise, it’s a nice place, comfortable bed for a decent price convenient to downtown Seaside and promenade.

The cottage was very comfortable and cozy. Will consider this room for future longer stays. The only downfall, was the Wi-Fi. It was unavailable for a longer period of time than it was. The TV buffered for so long, that it wasn’t worth trying to watch.

Pros: the room was clean. There is a kitchenette. The bathroom is clean. Shower is good. Two separate bedrooms. Very close to the promenade. Very close to the beach. Only a few blocks from the main street where there are lots of restaurants and shops.Cons: although clean had a strong smell of deodorant from the cleaning solutions they use nearly got a headache from it. The Internet is substandard Incredibly slow, which makes it difficult to even read the news. Probably the worst Internet that I’ve experienced in a hotel. The bathroom was clean, but the bathroom sink did not drain, which was a bit gross. The main room had a small loveseat and three kitchen chairs to sit in, so not really comfortable to sit and relax read if it happens to be raining and you need to spend some time inside.

The location is decent considering its walkability to the beach. There were multiple lights on items in the room that made it difficult to sleep and walls are extremely thin. The bed was ok. It was quite clean and I really appreciated the lock box so we did not have to take a key with us anywhere. Overall it was a nice space, but sleep was not had by our group.

The stay at the beachside Inn ruined my vacation and sent me home early. I got locked in the room. I couldn’t charge my phone because the outlet wasn’t working. I couldn’t use the TV and there was no instructions. I tried calling for help from the time that I checked in Which wasn’t done properly. Nobody ever called me back. There was no coffee maker that worked properly there was nobody on site. Nobody got back to me ever. I called the police and the police didn’t come. There was a man outside in the courtyard screaming and going through the trash acting crazy. This was a horrible traumatic event. I was scared and I did not sleep because I was afraid the entire time. I’ve opened a ticket withhotel.com to refund my trip..

Arrived at 8 pm office was closed keys weren’t on site . Had to drive back thru town to another hotel to get keys and drive back . They didn’t have anyone to bring the keys to our hotel. Upon checking in the rooms were ice cold and the heater didn’t work

When I first got to the property the key box would not open. There were two other guests that could not get into their rooms as well. Had to wait and wait for someone to bring a key. When I opened the door to my room it had not been cleaned. The room was a mess. I asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere, and management stated they do not offer refunds. Management place me in another room after an hour and half wait. On the positive side, the young lady working for management did her best within her bounds to accommodate me. Won't be staying here again.

Wasn't anyone on the property. If you have an isssue,youre suppose to contact the sister property, which isn't even close, Says 1 block to beach, more like 5 or 6. No coffee pot, hair dryer didn't work, some one had a dog that barked, not suposse to have animals. Would NOT recommend!

SMALL rooms, but clean and modern. Inside nice, exterior not so much. Biggest fail is the lock box deal, if you book on line and are not from USA you wont get the code by email. Very frustrating and concerning when its late.

Check your email for the instructions since there is no onsite office, they make it super easy. Room was really inexpensive, close walk to the beach and the one person jetted tub was amazing. Well decorated room with cozy feel and relaxing colors. I would definitely stay again.

Typically I prefer to stay at a place right on the ocean, due to no vacancy I happened upon Beachside Inn... Just a block off the beach and a couple blocks from the shops so still very convenient. While the outside of the hotel does not show well, the actual room seems updated. The room seemed clean until you actually look in the corners, etc.... under the kitchen sink where the trash was located was caked with food splatter. The pots/pans have seen better days. I was also disappointed in the lack of onsite service, such as no daily room service, which meant no new clean towels the entire stay... Sure I probably could have called during office hours but that seems annoying. I was also put off by the fact that they leave a tip envelope for the cleaning staff.... I understand this is normal and I typically tip... However if you are not cleaning during my stay, expecting me to wash all the dishes I use and also renting me a room with food splatter, dirty windows, etc... No tip. The kitchenette was nice to have... Only complaint is the food splatter under sink. The price was a bit high for the quality of the place and lack of service. I think I could get an ocean view room at another property with an included breakfast, pool, ice machine, daily housekeeping, etc for the same price or better. Also door to unit does not seem very secure if that is a worry for you... Does not shut air tight, no deadbolt and only a cheap door security latch.

Situated in a residential area and close to the downtown area, it was quiet and fairly safe. It felt deserted though because I think I was the only guest on the property. The family cottage was very spacious and comfortable. The only thing that was not working was the outlet in the bathroom which was a little inconvenient. Otherwise great place to stay!
