Duomo Hotel & Apartments

The design of the rooms are nice and specious and location is nice. However, the hotel is located in a crowded area so it is not possible to leave your windows open. It’s very load and on our trip AC wasn’t available even though it’s listed that they have AC. It was nearly 80 degrees and we couldn’t open the windows due to noise and with AC not working it was incredibly uncomfortable. Also the hotel was under construction, we couldn’t use the main lobby until our last day.

I think a small gym would be helpful for guests in the basement.

Duomo hotel & apartments is in a very convenient location. It took less than 5 minutes to walk to the Duomo. The parking situation gave us the most headache. The message sent out by Expedia gave us 2 parking choices but the hotel insist on us only parking at Meda, which actually has bigger parking spaces and a much better parking garage.

The only issue I had at check-in was the fact the hotel was refurbishing the reception and this was not notified until the day before arriving even though the refurb had been active for many weeks. Otherwise the hotel was perfect- 10/10 for Location, Staff, and the room. We will return to the hotel and I would recommend it to friends.

There are NO amenities at all. very expensive for what you get.

This was a terrific hotel in a perfect location. The hotel employees were all very nice, professional and helpful. The breakfast was delicious!! The Duomo is a few minute walk away and there are several restaurants close by. The only things lacking were a gym and laundry. Otherwise this was a perfect hotel for our family.

We tried to use the TV and at the end they just told us the TV in that area of the building was not working. We couldn’t use the AC. It didn’t work. They said it was because of city regulations.. really?

Great location and nice hotel. Room was spacious and staff were very friendly. Parking was challenging. It’s not onsite, but is nearby within a block. However the loading/unloading luggage was very difficult on a busy, narrow street. Would definitely stay here again. You are next to everything!

The property is very good but no private parking in the property. You have to park your car in a public underground parking near the hotel.

They lied about the room type and layout upon booking. We were offered a very dirty room when arrived with an extremely small bedroom. When confronted about the issues they asked to charge us double the rates to give us a clean room and denied cancellation or refund. This is clearly a scam operation in Milan and needs to be exposed.

This is the most FILTHY hotel i ever been ever. I saw they have spoon un-washed!!! Hairs on beds, hairs on shower room as well. Never go back.

The location of the hotel is great...right near the Duomo and shopping. The hotel room was a bit dirty. I spilled water on the floor and when I took a towel to clean it, the towel was practically black from how dirty the floor was. The plug in the bathroom did not accommodate the hotel hair dryer due to the size of the plug and the outlet. The walls could use a good painting. Lots of scuff marks everywhere. Also the safe was locked shut by the previous guests. Because we had a dog with us, we didn't want hotel maintenance to come open the safe while we were out. I always appreciate a hotel that is dog friendly but just be informed there is no grassy area or park, etc. to take your dog to. There is also no bar or restaurant as part of the hotel.

This hotel is run down and in terrible shape. Furniture in the room including the bed and chairs is chipped, scratched, old... Walls are dirty and stained. I don't know when was the last time it was updated.

We loved the close proximity to the center of it all without the loud city noises. Very spacious and clean. Safe and courteous staff. A/C worked marvelously. Also, next to a great little bakery that serves breakfast and lunch. Will definitely be back to this property!

The property uses images that are not what the room looks like, which is dishonest. My room was outdated; however, the real problem was the noise. Construction outside my window from 10:30 pm until 6:30 am, I asked the front desk for earplugs, and they never brought any. They should have informed us at check-in and given a discount. Absolutely not recommending this hotel.

Really great location, walkable to all the shopping and the Duomo and Scala. Staff was super friendly and room was spacious and quiet.

Room is spacious with lots of bathroom amenities, but my biggest complaint is that the AC is basically non existent and even though we set the thermostat to the coldest temperature the room temperature would just go up making the room hot. Also another complaint was the checkout process with a really rude front desk receptionist. Breakfast was good with lots of options, and the breakfast staff were really friendly. Overall, I appreciated the convenient location.

Amazing location close to the Duomo, metro, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Modern furnishings with a small tucked away kitchenette which is great if you need it. My kids loved the marshmallows and licorice at reception along with the flavored waters!

June 2024 travel: Nice hotel but room was hot bc the air conditioner barely blew out cool air which made it difficult to sleep.

Quick, efficient check in . Room very large with bedroom separated from living. Small kitchenette with essential kitchen ware. Complementary small bottle of wine and a few other little gifts. Very convenient to the Duomo and city centre.

Excellent location . Few minutes walk Doumo and all the high end shopping . Our room had a microwave, stove as well as a fridge. Spacious rooms and plenty of storage space .. would certainly come back.

Room was small and had a ransom extra single bed but nowhere to sit comfortably.

Location! The location is easily walkable to the Galeria and the Duomo. The hotel room was nice and loved the complimentary wine and snacks. Loved that you could access your netflix account. Customer service was great at the front desk. The worst part of the room was the view from our window. Absolutely horrible. We actually decided to stay in Milan for two more nights but not willing to pay that much for that view. Changed hotels.

While two guest families including ours are waiting for luggage pick up, the representative a gentleman with grey hair and is in suites keeps talking on the phone without responding the two guests standing right in front of him for more than 7mins. We had to speak to a cleaner who is wiping the floor to help. The staff service is not professional neither friendly. One of the bath towel is simply dirty with a long stripe of black mark. Safe does not work. Will not return and do not recommend.

Hotel was excellent with wonderful front desk staff (Arianna especially) that helped with all our questions and needs. Strongly recommend this place to stay!

The concierge was very helpful and got us into our room a little earlier than expected. My daughter also lost a toy in our room and we came back after check out. The staff was lovely and helped us search the room and found her missing toy. Location was perfect. Room was clean and very comfortable!

A sad story; we arrived at 26th Jan to hotel in the evening, came a long way drive through Bologna. When we arrived at reservation desk, an employee of hotel (I will not disclose her name here) didnt allow us in. She was not able to see confirmed booking even after we saw it on her monitor after double checking with hotels.com. Thankfully and luckily another colleague Carlo has arrived and fixed the issue in 2 minutes. Before that we had to pay extra for already confirmed room, and also were not confirmed for the next two overnight stays. It was very uncomfortable unconfident moments with my wife in a late hour of evening. On the other hand we lost the dinner time, there were no more places open after two hours of waiting and trying to fix this issue with the hotel. I can confirm that this hotel has some people working who are not able to understand the issue in deep and support you in evening time. When we asked to her that : can you call someone responsible; she answered: no there is no other responsible colleague only me and Carlo! So if there was someone like her instead of Carlo, our stay will be quite more dangerous and not safe; we might not have found a room available in that hour even we had a confirmed booking! This was my second and most probably last stay in this hotel; and I strongly dont suggest this to anyone for the reasons I mentioned. I believe you can find a safe hotel around. I suggest hotels.com to take this hotel out from their offer.

Great location on the side of Duomo and easy to walk to many attractions. The staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good.

Perfect location 5min from the Duomo, clean room, convenient parking at the end of the street. Our room was very loud at night with cars, people and garbage trucks at 5am for about 30min. We did not sleep well.

Located in the heart of downtown Milan, accessible to dining, shops and landmarks of Milan.

The hotel is located in an excellent area, all the shopping is around it, and the touristic scene is very good. a lot of Dinning options, and is accessible towards every place in Milan Centre. The hotel rooms are very nicely decorated, and the offerings in the rooms are excellent, Staff are very professional, they give you a feel of the 5 stars hotel, the Espresso free offerings and the refreshments and snacks provided at the entrance of the hotels for free is a big plus, as my kids loved the idea to start the day with a small gift, and a coffee on the road is an excellent start for your shopping journey
