The bar was closed because the bartender called off work. The one elevator was broken and the other one was very slow causing people to wait on multiple floors. Also, $24 to park is absolutely ridiculous, it’s not a Steeler game. The shower was terrible, couldn’t even rinse the soap off.

We enjoyed our stay; the property is nice and well maintained. We used the indoor pool which was. very nice. The 'market' in the lobby was well stocked and very convenient. I do wish breakfast ran later than 9:30.

Property was fair. The room was not clean with someone's dirty socks left in the hall by the chest, the diswasher not ran and emptied out and we requested housekeeping but the person came at 4:00p.m. and we were already back in our room and had requested towels from another housekeeper in the hall. Also the parking lot was not working well at all. We had to wait for minutes just to try to scan our card to get it open. We had to pay just to get in and out of the lot. We complained and were told to just hit the help button, and the front desk will let you in and out. How ridiculous. I requested to not be charged for parking and to remove the excess charges. I was only given one of the two nights parking free even though we had issues from the first night. The excess charges were removed from my card. Last but not least, we sat at the bar for about 30 minutes waiting for service. The bartender shows up, says hello and goes to the back and comes out about 10 minutes later and never asked us what we would like. So we left.

The pool was not available. They had rented it out to a swim school from 4pm to 8pm both nights we were there and it was full of toddlers. No one had emptied the garbage in our room from the previous guests.

I loved everything about my stay! The rooms were extremely clean and beautiful and included a living room and kitchen. The staff was extremely accommodating. I did not partake in the free breakfast, but it looked extensive. The parking was a little pricey ($24/night), but I was really glad to have it, as on-street parking availability was extremely limited.

Overall the hotel was nice, and staff was friendly, just needs a little bit of TLC and updating. The room and hallway had seen better days, but were still in presentable condition. My biggest complaint was the pillows. They were completely flat and offered absolutely no comfort or support. The breakfast was nice, parking was in a gated in area, and the lobby was large and spacious. It was located in a very nice neighborhood that was located centrally to the sights that we had wanted to check out. Overall had a pleasant experience during my stay.

I wouldn’t advertise that this property has a pool. It does have a pool, however it is unusable late afternoon to early evening as they offer swimming lessons for neighborhood families. Not pleased as we chose this property as we like to swim. So that put a bad taste in my mouth about the value, added to that 20 dollars to park per day in a somewhat suburban area outrageous. Other that that the hotel was excellent.

Our room had carpet stains and a cloying air freshener that caused a raging headache. When we asked to move they said they were overbooked and had no other rooms and to turn in the ac to help with smell. It helped for a few minutes but since it’s winter we couldn’t leave it on for long. Waking in the middle of the night the air freshener smell was replaced with mold smells. I suppose I’ll be sick by the end of the day today due to my severe mold allergies. So disappointing.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The amenities were great. The heated pool made up for not having a hot tub. And the breakfast selection was great. The cleanliness of the room though was hands down the worst! There was toe nail clippings on the floor, there was trash already in the garbage can in our room, and when we pulled out the sleeper sofa, there was a vape in it and used tissues. We were in town for a Penguins game and didn’t get back to our room until 11pm which is when we saw the bed so it was too late to do anything about it but that meant we were down a bed we were counting on. There was also 4 people on our reservation and only 3 towels in the bathroom. That makes no sense to me.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times over a 3 year period. It is a nice, secure, convenient location. The room sizes are nice and the sofa bed makes it easy to accomodate friends. The rooms with the kitchenette have an apartment-like feel. The problem is the lack of attention to upkeep and cleaning.The extra blanket in the closet had a three inch hole.The mesh trash can had what looked like hardened vomit on the exterior side that had been turned to face the wall. There was an accumulation of dust and two french fries under the bathroom sink cabinet. The white grout used between the bathroom floor tiles was grimy and dirty. When I arrived, the dishes and flatwear were in the dishwasher, rather than in put away in the cabinets. I did not know if they were clean or dirty. I did not check to see, put them away, or use them. When paying good money to stay in a hotel, I expect the place to be clean, neat, and in order when I get there.

Hotel location was close enough to campus, plenty of parking space and gated which was great and safe. Cleanliness was lacking all across my designated room, restroom was not cleaned neither was the kitchen. I have stayed here before with a much better experience, I hope it was only a mishap because the hotel has much potential.

I like the pool and the breakfast was nice. My room wasn’t as clean as it should be. A lot of hair everywhere in the bathroom shower and in the sink. I think pay $24 a night for parking is a bit ridiculous. When your a guest paying about $300 for a room. It was a okay experience. But definitely won’t stay here again. Much better places for the same amount of money.

The room was very nicely appointed and clean. It was nice to have a big kitchenette & countertop and sofa, even though we were only there one night. The front desk lady checked us in very quickly and without delay, so we were able to get straight to our room before a very early alarm for my procedure the next morning. I would absolutely stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable however it is not insulated well. There was loud noise coming from above us all night. It sounded like a bunch of drunks tripping and falling all night long. Then there was lots of noise on our floor as well and it sounded like someone was trying to open our door half the night.

People and location are great. Rooms are just ok. Shower heads are terrible. Whatever happened to the wonderful Speakman shower heads? Breakfast was…there. Staff did a great job keeping common areas clean and neat. Furniture in rooms is low quality and not comfortable, some in disrepair. Also, please join the 2020s and put some USB ports in the rooms. Grout in the shower was moldy. I give this property a strong, “It was okayyy, if overpriced.”

Clean and comfortable. Easy parking. Restaurant was limited in menu. Wasn't comfortable venturing out after dusk. Would love an option for a fan to be on continuous for white noise. My neighbor above me stomped around like an elephant.

We really like this hotel because the rooms have a great layout, like a studio apartment. Parking is located right next to the hotel and doesn't cost a fortune like other hotels in the area. There are lots of great dining options down Liberty including the Church Brew Works and Gepettos (for breakfast). The hotel staff is very nice and the rooms are very clean

I asked for cleaning three times and left the room so they can clean it was not done. The keys don’t always work though the front desk quickly replaced them but it was a constant. And the cleaning never happened where I even asked the floor persons hey I know I can keep clean but I wanted towels and I didn’t feel the room was clean from the beginning

Very conveniently located for our needs. Safe, relatively quiet for a city area. Very comfortable rooms and common area in lobby. Staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The outdoor seating area is also very inviting. This is our “go to” when we are in the area. Minor wear in the shower shelf. That is the worst of it. Which is nothing, imo. Thanks for the great stay!

I got there at 1 a little early for check in at 3 so they told me the room was not done which was alright because i was early, the lady took my number and said the room is almost done that they would call me when its finished. That was great i thought. Well 2 hours later and seeing several other people get there room i decided to ask about my room and i had asked the different lady at the desk about if my room was finished because i had been waiting 2 hours. The manager just happened to walk by and apologize saying our room has been done for awhile and not going to charge us for parking for the weekend. Very nice after the waiting. Thank you

Terrible front desk experience with “Malvin” the night I arrived. Svetlana however made up for it by giving me a quieter room on the top floor. No one told me I had to request room service. At over $300 x night, you would think it’s done….

Perfect hotel when visiting CMU students. The room was nice and spacious, the staff was so wonderful and accommodating and it is walking distance to many cool places. We loved our stay!

The rooms were great, bed was very comfortable. My shout out goes to the staff. I was there for a family emergency at the hospital a few blocks away. I was a mess. The staff was so very kind and caring. A big thank you to Vanessa. She went above and beyond Her kindness to a perfect stranger is what this world needs more of. She eased my concerns. The Bartender also had a great smile and. Listening ear. Im sorry i cant remember his name. If i could give more than 5 stars for the entire staff, they have it. From Housekeeping to Management, thank you so much.

Hotel is in a decent area. Room was average. Shower was built in a way that caused water to be all over the floor. Breakfast was below average. Biggest issue was the fact that i requested my room to be serviced daily and that didnt hapoen despite asking 3 separate times.

The check in and check out were fast and smooth. The room was clean and spacious. The location was also very convenient for us with good food and shopping options close by. The only downside was that we could hear some noises from the next room as there was a connecting door. However, this did not bother us.

Loved this place, large rooms with pull out sofas and mini fridge and kitchenette. Lovely staff. Nice rooms, completely quiet. The breakfast is not amazing, but it's an easy walk to lots of cafes.

Bar was closed with no notice given to visitors. Someone could've printed a sign on a piece of paper and placed it on the bar. Would've taken about 1 minute and the tiniest amount of initiative.
