Spent one night here on a road trip from California to Colorado. This hotel is wonderful! The staff, the service, the amenities, the food, the beds, the pool and fitness area, all exceeded our expectations. This was the best night’s stay of our entire 10-day trip, and that’s saying something

Very nice property. Away from casinos downtown. No resort fees, free parking, free breakfast that has plenty to chose from, not just a stale pastry wrapped in plastic, indoor pool, laundry, small sundries shop. Great for skiers, family, business and pet owners.

Everything was great except for the dog areas. The sand is not a good thing for some dogs because they will not eliminate. I had to go find a patch of grass so my dog could do her thing. If you had more grassy area that would be much better. The fee I paid was good, but not accommodating for eliminations. I would suggest more grass areas

Very nice room, clean, updated. Beautiful view. Very Comfortable bed, very nice linens. Great layout, nice desk and chair. Clean mini-fridge and good-sized microwave. Good counter space, combination table. Bathroom was very nice, great shower and water pressure. Good storage. Very nice young people at the front desk. Great coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar in the lobby area. Not coffee drinkers, no comment on that. Nice seating in the breakfast area. We didn’t eat a regular breakfast, dietary preferences. Nice choice of items, and we both had a few items.

This was not a great experience. First, we waited 45 minutes past checkin time while the room was being cleaned. Then we found that the AC unit in our room made a horrible clicking noise that could be heard from outside the hotel. They eventually moved us to another room.

Bathroom had a sliding door that did not stay closed. It would slowly roll back on the rail. Also it hung away from the wall by about two inches. This combo basically made for zero privacy for anyone in the bathroom

The room was quiet, clean and well appointed. However, the toilet paper was thin and harsh, the mattress was overly firm, and the WiFi was unsecure. In fact I asked the front desk if the 'premium' WiFi available for $5/day was more secure and was told that it was not. Surprised that they cut these corners for a fairly expensive room.

The hotel is conveniently located, clean, & in good condition. It’s a safe neighborhood. The hot breakfast is good. Staff could be friendlier - front desk & cleaning staff - & walls are very thin. Heard the room next door’s tv until 3AM & sounded like a running gym in the room above us.

The first stay at a Hampton Inn was Kalispell, Montana. Quite a nice experience so we picked this one in Reno. Convenient location. Staff were all friendly & helpful. Only issue was the room itself. The sliding barn door that doubled as bath/closet door was terrible. It wouldn’t close all the way so there was about a two inch gap & no way to latch. Also, the bathroom was immediately facing front door so if you’re sitting on toilet & someone cranks that front door open? You can wave at people in hallway! Absolutely ridiculous. Curtains on both windows were a joke. Couldn’t close them completely & left gaps in middle. Sofa bed was pretty much a joke. I know you can’t expect too much from those but trust me when I say it’s not suitable for an adult. Small kids would probably be fine with it. Water pressure in shower was abysmal!! Most people probably expect that to some degree, but between that & soft water, it was bad! If we stay in that area again, it will be a B&B most likely.

The room was roomy, clean, and had a lot of extras such as plenty of outlets, fairly roomy refrigerator, several tables for setting up our laptop, etc. We opted for the one with the sofabed so we had more sitting places. The bed had a coverlet that kept us nice and warm and there were good reading lamps on both sides and even a clock radio so we didn't have to keep referring to our phones. There was also a REAL hair dryer as opposed to those that are stuck on the wall and rarely work. Check in and check out was very fast. Only complaint was the overly complicated thermostat for the heater/AC. We called the front desk and someone came up immediately. It would help if there were written instructions posted next to it, but other than that no complaints (except maybe the quality of the tissues and toilet paper). I highly recommend this facility.

There are some issues with the hotel reservation system. There are two incidents. 1. Our room is opened by other customer on Monday afternoon. We are horrified. Luckily we are in the room, and found out that our room is assigned to other customer. Later we were asked to go downstairs to the front desk with ID to re-register the room. I think they can handle the incident better. 2. On Tuesday night around 9:30 PM, our door is knocked again to confirm our personal information again. It is also due to the system mess up. I hope they can fix the issue soon.

The staff were amazing when I went to the wrong room. I thought that the key wasn’t working, but then the receptionist came up the stairs with me. She really went out of her way to be extremely helpful to my son and I.

Very nice property and the rooms were extremely clean and nice. Can't beat the breakfast every morning and the nice kick-back area in the lobby to take in a game while you relax. We stayed for 2 nights, and most things were fine. However, we did not have any room service, and they failed to clean our room, make the beds, or replace towels and the like. We left the room at 10:00 am and returned at 10:00 pm so they had plenty of time. Not life changing but pretty disappointing.

This particular Hampton Inn is conveniently located right off Hwy 80 and thankfully has no freeway noise. The rooms have very high ceilings for an extra feeling of roominess. A microwave and small frig are handy. The breakfast options were decent and plenty with hot food options which is much appreciated. Oddly, the seats are too low for the tables so we sat on throw pillows. 24 hour coffee and tea are also much appreciated. A well thought out hotel that I will stay at again if I'm in the area.

Everything was doing great. Had breakfast following AM and ended up getting food poisoning. Spent Saturday afternoon in bed with vomiting and dyrehra. Cut out stay short and went home. Today is Tuesday and still recovering. Went to critical care who confirmed food poisoning.

A family checked in at about 3 AM and let their kids run around for at least an hour before I called the front desk and then it continued for another hour. At the breakfast buffet, there was no coffee the cranberry and orange juice were out and the front desk clerk told me that that’s the responsibility of the kitchen people, but I never found a kitchen person to tell, staff acted like they didn’t wanna do anything.
