Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport/Robinson Township

Room and hallways smelt funny. Room wasn’t the cleanest. Stains on bedding, stains on the walls. Bathroom counter looked like it was maybe wipes down half assed. Dust on everything.

They let us check super early after traveling from New York. The front desk lady was really nice .

Being a Fairfield, I was expecting a 5 start experience and saying it was even a 3 star would be a compliment to the experience. Front desk wouldn't stop their conversation to come assist for awhile at check-in. When they finally did assist, they lacked any emotions and I even had to prompt them to tell me times for pool, breakfast, etc. Later, my family decided to go use the hot tub. It was so hot that we all were red after a few minutes and could only handle it for a short time. The outside door was also opened and the trash can was pushed in front of it. When I asked another guest about this, they stated the front desk did this. When it was shower time, a few of the tiles on the bathroom floor were broken/loose, and even pinched my feet a few times. The shower head was loose and you could not get the head to stay in a position due to it and the water draining was extremely slow. For a 5 minute shower, I had at least 3 inches of water accumulated at the bottom (felt like my feet were taking a bath). To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The only redeeming qualities were that the breakfast was very good. I expected more from this hotel chain, and that's why I booked it for my memorable family weekend get away. Sadly, I will not be returning to this location (or maybe not a sad thing based off of the experience)!

Clean, quiet, and conveniently located.

Good quiet place to stay. And if you get bored you can go outside and watch some incoming planes
