Treasure Island Beach Resort

The hotel and property are beautiful. The room was nicely furnished and the bedrooms were large. The beach is pristine. The hotel will give you towels for the beach, but chairs and umbrellas are rented through an outside company for about $40/day. Just for future reference, there is not an oven or a table for eating meals in the rooms. The hotel was not full, yet we were given a room that overlooked the restaurant and AC vents. As a platinum hotels.com member, I expected a better choice of room. I didn’t ask to switch rooms, but I found this odd. I don’t know if it was because we booked through hotels.com or what. Avoid the 3rd floor rooms 307 and higher. Knowing all of this, I will definitely book again!

The property is nice, the room very comfortable and well taken care of. The pool is small for the resort. We were not able to use the pool area, it was always full. We had a very bad experience at the hotel restaurant, BRGR restaurant. The server was very rude and disrespectful with us. She provided a poor job and was very sarcastic. I DO NOT recommend that restaurant. The food is ok, not excelent and the service is AWFUL! Keep away from that place.

Bed room ceiling fan did not work. The pool was out of order for the duration of our stay. did not know this before booking.

Our stay was wonderful! Staff was friendly and helpful. There were always pool chairs available with attendants to help you get setup. The food at BRGR was some of the best we had on our trip. Parking was easy. Room was immaculately clean, trendy and spacious with views of the beach. The boardwalk area had fun chairs, a bar, games, fire pits. My only downside is the distance to the ocean was a bit far - it’s a very deep beach - so you can’t hear the waves from your room. But I’d definitely stay again.

Hotel and staff are good. The pool is small and the walk to the beach is long. Unfortunately the area of Treasure Island itself is low class. There aren’t many things to do or see here. And the shops and restaurants are disappointing. Clearwater Beach is way better and more lively.

We stayed here for a relaxing weekend getaway to escape the cold back home. It’s a nice location on the beach, recently updated rooms. We selected this location because we like to have a hot tub, but it was out of order during our stay. We were still charged the hefty daily resort fees. The staff also wouldn’t let us pay with another card besides the original card I booked with. That was inconvenient, but not a huge deal. The elevators stopped working and we had to use the stairs to access our 4th floor room. Again, no apologies from the staff. There was long black hairs in the bed sheets which I understand can happen but doesn’t make it any less gross. On Saturday we requested a late checkout for Sunday and the front desk said we could checkout at 2. Then on Sunday the staff told us they were going to charge us $50 an hour for anything after 11. The staff is obviously not on the same page and lacking in hospitality considering they had low occupancy during our stay. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Located right on the beach with a 2 mile walking/running concrete path. Hotel is very clean and updated. You do need to pay an outside vendor for beach chair or umbrella.

I'm usually not one to leave a review, however, after my stay here I felt compelled to do so. I couldn't be more impressed by this property. My room (1 bedroom king suite with gulf view) was impeccably clean and tidy, with a very fresh, modern, and comfortable design. The pool area was very clean and inviting. The gym was surprisingly large and exceeded my expectations. It was stocked with more equipment than your average hotel. It was clear that its design was a priority, rather than an afterthought. The restaurant on site was well above average. The food fresh & tasty, and the staff very accommodating and friendly. What pushed my experience beyond an enjoyable stay at a well kempt property was the front desk staff. When I initially arrived, Alex checked me in and was fantastic. Very personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Unfortunately, I just had the one experience with her, but it stood out. Over my stay, I had several interactions with Antonio at the front desk. In a word, he's a superstar. I was absolutely blown away by his service. He went above and beyond anything I ever expected or desired. It was clear he sincerely cared, and it was important to him I had the best possible experience. It's often attempted by hotels and other customer facing businesses to provide great service. However, the execution rarely meets the intent. Not here. It is blatantly obvious customer service is a top priority here, and its staff truly cares that its delivered

Great property with a laid back sytle. The room was a great size and had all of the amenities needed for some light cooking. Staff was fabulous! The rooms could use a little better cleaning, our couch cushions were fully of food when we pulled out bed, the floor left our feet black and the shower didnt drain to well. All in all a great place to stay!

The room was spotless, food was great, and enjoyed the drink service by the pool.

Very clean,safe property with friendly staff. I have No regrets everything you can think of to make your stay welcoming and comfortable they have. Just wish I have more time to enjoy the facilities more . Was only around for 3 days for a wedding. Book I promise u that you will be happy you did.

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. We had a two room suite. It’s super clean, very well decorated, the corner balconies were fantastic. We didn’t want to leave, and will definitely be back!

When I booked the reservation I thought I was getting a regular shower. Walk in shower. We ended up with a handicap shower that got water all over the floor. Everyone was nice and the food was amazing at the restaurant but for the money I paid I thought I was getting a better bathroom and shower.

Beautiful resort. Service was great. Staff very attentive and nice! Stunning views! Suite we had was perfect. Small kitchen with full size frig. Big balcony for our morning coffee. Bed was very comfortable. Loved every second!

We had a wonderful family vacation here. The sweet set up is fantastic for Family! We could put two sets of adults in one room and enjoy the middle living area and have breakfast together every morning. Great proximity to the beach, it is a little bit of a walk, but you literally are on the beach with no road between you so it makes up for it! The restaurant food was fantastic in the pool is Beautiful. Beds are comfortable all around a really great place to stay!

Great place to stay! From our late check in to our late check out. All the front desk employees were awesome! The room was very clean on arrival. We loved the pool area. Both pool ambassadors were excellent, Trenton and Jordan were always very friendly and ready to help. Wait staff at BRGR were friendly and welcoming.

Our check in at the front desk was awkward and time consuming. I booked through Expedia and prepaid yet it seemed like when I arrived at front desk I was starting all over.

Between my employment travel and leisure travel, I have probably stayed at in excess 500 different hotels and resorts. This resort is very nice, the rooms are very nicely equipped , the grounds and pool area are very clean and maintained, but makes this resort the nicest I have ever stayed in is the people. All the way down from the manager, Silviu to the front desk staff (Jennifer in particular) to the custodian to the support staff (Edwin), the compassion and hospitality expressed was remarkable. My fell and broke her hip 1st day there, surgery to replace it the next day , back to the resort, everyone that knew showed tremendous empathy and assistance. They allowed us use of their wheel chair while there. Offered the use of a dune buggy to get in sand, moved our suite to a pool level suite next to the restaurant. I could go on , suffice to say this resort is highly recommended

Came for our anniversary and this resort is the best! Outstanding hospitality! The hotel staff goes above and beyond and did a phenomenal job making us feel special for our anniversary! Will definitely be coming back!

This hotel does so much right I hate to leave a negative review. Everything about this hotel is great with 2 exceptions. They employee an extremely rude and unprofessional security guard who treats his job like that of a prison guard. This is the second year in a row that we and other guests were complaining about this individual. Secondly, they will not accommodate a late checkout even when the hotel is empty. Most high end hotels will.

Gas stations and such. Restaurants / bars in the area closed on certain days. It lacks places to eat out nearby, no night life. Food and Beverage was a major downfall at the hotel. I am surprised there is not more reviews on it. Only one server at the tiki bar, we waited 40 minutes for drinks. Every experience was similar, so we stopped going. Same situation by the pool, only one server. Expect to wait and be approached with some frustration. Not only is it disappointing for guests, it’s a’missed opportunity. Restaurant was inconsistent. First experience was fine, second experience took over an hour and it was was only half full in there. Our friends had time to walk across the street, sit down, eat and return before our food came. We got no condiments, only meal and toast was hard. They play music by the pool but you can barely hear it. The glass railing next the the pool are cloudy. Just not what I would expect for this price point. The night ambiance in the pool area is nice, fire pit and gas laterns, some of the furniture showing age. The fire pit and laterns on the lower portion were never lit while we were there over 4 nights. It’s dark in this area at night. Not what we had imagined. All in all, I don’t think they’re quit in line with what they charge per night.

Location is great, by the water. Perfect for a family gateway. Room is fully renovated and clean. Service was also great.

Great vacation! The staff were polite and friendly; exceptional service. Everything was very clean from the parking garage to the pool bathroom to the room. We had a beautiful balcony view of the pool and the beach. It’s quiet and low key and plenty of pool chairs and umbrellas. The beach is a bit of a walk so I recommend a wagon to assist with your belongings. We also had a challenge finding the people that rent the umbrellas on the beach. There is not much to eat after 10 pm and room service stops, so make sure you’re prepared. If you prepare for the 2 things you’ll be set! I would definitely recommend this resort and go back.

The resort was beautiful and in a great location. The area is quiet with lots of food options in walking distance in addition to the resort's BRBG restaurant. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. They upgraded our family to a 2-bedroom suite at no cost! The beach is a bit of a walk through the sand and heat but the waves are calm. It was gorgeous to watch the sun set over the ocean. St. Petersburg is about 20 min away. Customer service was excellent and we definitely will return.

Beautiful resort on the beach with a pool and restaurant overlooking the gulf. We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen that was nicely decorated. All employees were friendly and helpful. The burger from their restaurant was delicious. Would definitely return.

Great location right on the beautiful beach, and the apartment was nice and spacious with kitchen. Service at the pool was slow and breakfast at the restaurant wasn’t great, we found a better alternative at The Brewnette.

We loved this resort. It was absolutely beautiful and even the standard resort view was beautiful and looked out to the pool and ocean! All the staff members were wonderful and nice. The BRGR restaurant on site has SO much more than burgers. In fact we never got a burger there but had lots of other delicious things like their express breakfast, the sonoma chicken bowl (OMG yum), their shrimp with honey on it (comes with like 16 shrimp!), and their beet salad. I wish there were more good dining options within walking distance (many closed still from hurricane) but overall that is our only complaint! We would totally stay here again.
