FUSION Resort Waterfront Suites

The hotel and rooms itself were awesome. But there are a lot of other problems. Pool and hot tub were both "broken" and the employees were in no hurry to fix them. We are in vacation so the heated pool and hot tub were a main reason as to why we booked this place. I even called to confirm that the pool was heated so our kids could swim. A lot of the front desk employees were pretty rude, when I complained about the pool, the non-existent roof top bar & the restaurant/bar being closed 2/3 days we were here, all I got was a "sorry". Manager couldn't even bother to show up to the hotel when MULTIPLE people were complaining about the same things. Restaurant employees were very friendly I will say. Anyway the rooms were awesome and so was the view but I will NOT be back here. I will take my money elsewhere and get a nicer hotel for the same price, if not cheaper.

Rooms are really clean and were nice. Great view. Nice patio. But, the pool needs to be cleaned more as well as the hot tub. It was green on the sides and when I leaned on it the algae was all over my back. I wanted to use the hot tub but couldn’t because it just looked too grungy. That green around the edges. Doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a while . I feel like it wouldn’t take much effort to just wipe the sides down at least every couple days. So we didn’t swim as much as we had planned. Also the parking turned into a nightmare even though we paid for two cars, other guests had multiple visitors. One other guest even took up entire parking spots with their JetSki‘s. We didn’t end up going out to dinner Saturday night because we were afraid to lose our parking spot. And when I woke up in the morning it shows that we definitely would have, there were vehicles parked all over the place out of spaces. Other than those two things it was nice. Staff was friendly. But one of them should really clean the pool.

We have stayed at fusion resort twice and each time it has been absolutely amazing. Super clean, great views from balcony’s, within walking distance of everything, my only complaint Bis the pool closes to early. It closes at 8 and we would have loved to be able to swim when it was all lit up, and hit the hot tub in the evenings. The pool is amazing hot tub is even better. 10/10 rating for this place and can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed ourselves. Loved the location, close to everything and they make getting around super convenient. My only con is the pool closes too early.

For complete transparency, we stayed at this resort 4ish years ago and it was AMAZING, so when we returned to Treasure Island it was a no brainer. BAD DECISION! The room which we had to pay an additional $100 for to have a washer and dryer (washer and dryer was listed as included in our room when we booked), instantly smelled of mildew/mold. But that was just the beginning within the first hour: - the dishwasher did not work - guest bathroom toilet in room did not flush well - a random man opened our door while I was loading the washer - the floors were disgusting, turned out feet black - the springs in the beds pop as you move around - the pans were funky and severely scratched (not safe to cook with) - a cooking spoon had clearly been used to cook something in grease and was bubbled up - kitchen sink faucet did not retract - the pool was never cleaned the entire time we were there (4 days) - there is scum above water level around the entire pool - shells at the bottom, my daughter cut her foot on them. I went to the front desk within the first few hours and informed Lauren of the issues I had in the room (dishwasher, toilet, faucet, pans, cooking utensils and smell). She seemed unfazed and offered to have house cleaning mop the floor for the smell and maintenance to come for the other issues. I told her I was very disappointed in the state of the room and resort, she offered zero resolution. I met a woman at the pool with same experience. Wish I read reviews!!!!

Great location, friendly staff. Golf cart shuttle within a few minutes back and forth to beach or dinner. Beautiful view and great accommodations. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Very nice view. As advertised all rooms look over the bay. Kept very clean. Easy walk to beach and easy access to the beach. Dolphine's in the bay and one day by the pool! Seemed short staffed? Pool hours end at 9:00 pm. Small bar/restaurant that had good food. Just not open very late either. One day no food available. One night at 7:30 wanted pizza and I got an answering machine! There was supposed to be rides on the golf cart to the beach but is was "broke" down all week! Short staffed? Overall 8/10 cleanliness. They only clean room or change towels every 5 days. Needs some minor updates and a little better cleaning job. I will admit that I am fussy when is comes to cleanliness.

We enjoyed staying at Fusion. The peaceful view of the bay made for a beautiful start and end of each vacation day. A precious reviewer stayed the pool heater was broken… I called the resort to check and they said it was working again. However, it was not. With that being said, I find the resort fee a bit silly, but all in all we really enjoyed our time and the hotel does offer some nice amenities like fire pits and bicycles.

Excellent location, very nice resort. We went for a staycation for the 4th of July weekend. We were not impressed with how dirty the floors were- ceramic tile floors and our feet were BLACK. Everyday. Would have been terrible to have a crawling baby/toddler there. Everything else was great. Definitely a beach hotel, but still very nice with beautiful views of the intercostal waters. The full kitchen was great to have as we were able to cook breakfast every morning, lunch every afternoon and enjoy our coffee on the balcony- and we were close enough to walk to dinner every night - VIP, Sloppy Joes, Middle Grounds all within walking distance. So is Publix, however, we did a pick up order there for groceries for the long weekend. We will be back sometime.

This large condo allowed us to spread out more - three of us had to work during the stay and the extra space was very helpful. The location is great - only 5-10 minute walk to the beach with a grocery store, liquor store, and convenience store all within walking distance as well. The floors needed a good mopping, but everything else was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, silverware, pans, bowls, toaster, coffee maker, and full-sized fridge. The sunsets from the large balcony were spectacular.

Great property and friendly staff, only downside was the cleanliness, was not quite up to par. Maid services was sketchy at best and the chair and sofa were stained beyond belief. Didn't sit in either the entire trip, the fact they expose you to this is concerning since first impressions are everything.

It was a normal hotel room. Water pressure terrible. Dripping for showers. Floor was supposedly cleaned but my feet were very very dirty. Arrived after several calls to not be able to enter room till after 4:00 and had to wait standing up in office waiting to get keys to room. I would rate a 7 out of 10. Definitely not worth the money. Way toooo expensive for what we received. Would not recommend to anyone.

Our room had a fish smell, We kept thinking it would disappear after some time but it just lingered the whole time.

My stay was very nice!! I would definitely book again!! My only feedback would be for the shower curtains to be thoroughly checked. I noticed some mildew on the bottom of the curtain. Otherwise, everything was clean and presentable. Staff was very kind and helpful! Thank you Fusion!!

Found mold on the bathroom shower curtain. Other than that stay was great, great location, solid views a lot of activities in walking distance

We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom suite and there was barely any hot water. We had to take cold showers. The suite wasn't cleaned very well either. There were still party decorations hanging from the ceiling from a previous guest. Not worth the money I spent on it.

Nice place to stay. Nice view of the bay area. Was able to see dolphins swimming in the bay from our balcony. The only thing that could be better is the water pressure in the showers.

Hotel was noisy. Some mechanical starting and stopping constantly. Upstairs neighbors footsteps could be heard. Ran out of hot water with a normal shower. Furniture had stains

I had the best experience here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I spent my honeymoon here and as a courtesy the staff gave us a bottle of wine. I will always stay at Fusion whenever I go to Treasure Island. The rooms are HUGE and the view is to die for. We even saw dolphins from our balcony. Please do yourself a favor and book here. You will not be disappointed. By far the best resort in Treasure Island!

Rooms are 2 bedroom suites. Full size kitchen makes an extended stay more affordable. Extremely pet friendly environment.

Loved the two bedroom suite. So roomy and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Main complaint was the shower in the master bedroom had terrible water pressure.

Great views from the unit.. good kitchen.. the only challenge was some front desk staff couldn’t care less about your experience while few others were more responsive. The bathroom shower broke down with a huge thud in the middle of the night.. being a light sleeper had a terrible night sleep.. the staff couldn’t send maintenance till 10am but still initially refused to extend the checkout beyond 11am.. later a different member relented gave us the much needed extra hour to atleast shower and head out.. how insensitive..

Lauren at the check-in was friendly and helpful, also Richie at check out . In general everyone was helpful. They room was clean and neat.

Great staff. Very accommodating and we’re happy to help with early check in. A personal touch that big chains have lost. Stayed here before, have recommended people and will stay again. The little things matter!

The people in the office were hit or miss. They were really nice and lovely the beginning of the stay, but they had confusing messages about late check out. When we called on the morning of to have a little later check out due to morning meetings, they told us no, and that we had to be out by 11:05, but in a very rude tone. When we were a few minutes late because we had to finish a work call, they called the room and yelled at us. The property also was not as advertised in the pictures. It did have a good view, but it was dirty and the door lock did not work on our unit SO UNSAFE. We ended up putting a chair in front of the door every night. They also had no dining open the first few days we were there. And when they did have dining, it was reserved for a wedding that was super loud into the night. Will not be going back.

The property was quiet, clean and comfortable. The customer service was professional and above average. I would not hesitate to book again. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, living room and full kitchen was plenty room for husband and I. Only stayed one night but wished it was longer.

Asha provided world class excellent service. Miss Applegate also provided great information on events and dining in the area. Miss Applegate was very knowledgeable and provided amazing service which we plan on returning soon!

Love the fusion for many reasons it’s cute cozy and convenient for my family and i. The things that make me uncomfortable at the fusion are the office staff are very unwelcoming they don’t greet guests nicely or i wasn’t greeted at all upon arrival on two separate occasions. The office staff have also accused me of not paying for past stays but in order to book through Expedia you pay upfront so it wouldn’t be possible for me to stay there without paying at all so that bothered me a bit. Outside of these little things the fusion is a great place to stay ! The shower heads are horrible The kitchen sink was not draining properly The couch in the living room had stains on them from previous guest.

Beautiful property with amazing water views. Nice pool, easy walk to beach and restaurants. Nice place if you want to bring groceries and make your own meals with a kitchen. If I come to treasure island again I would definitely stay here. Most of the surrounding hotels seamed a little honky tonky.

I have stayed at many hotels but this one was one of the best. Great location, beautiful view and close to the beach. Walkable shopping and food facilities with great food options.

Beautiful spot in the heart of Treasure Island. Very comfortable with a lot of room to spread out.

Loved the location on the marina. Loved the inside of the 2 bed, 2 bath, living area & balcony. Will absolutely stay there again! Staff very friendly & accommodating. Downside, no storage in bathrooms, glass shelves on walls were useless, on an angle and our items kept sliding off. Definitely need hooks as well to hang wet suits & towels. Lastly the restaurant/bar should be open earlier than 1:00.

A 3 night stay at Fusion resort to celebrate my birthday was just what I needed. I felt so comfortable from the moment I stepped in the room. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. My only issue with the room is the shower. The water felt great but the water pressure was really low. The view was perfect. Check in was easy Diane was so nice and super helpful. The food was decent, Kevin at the vibes restaurant was super nice. Once everyone knew I was celebrating my birthday we received extra special treatment from the staff. I'm giving a 5 star review because my overall stay was excellent. I would have like to seen more food options on the menu. Also I would have like to have a breakfast menu although the rooms come with a full kitchen cooking on vacation was not a part of my plans. I would definitely stay here again.

Pool was open from “dawn to dusk” which is ridiculous, it should be open later than that. The restaurant and bar inside was a joke, no wonder they closed both indefinitely the day after I visited them. (The bartender couldn’t even figure out how to make a vodka ginger ale lol) Housekeeping should automatically come in daily to vacuum, remove trash and make beds (and change sheets if necessary), which they didn’t. The keys didn’t work half the time. Just not a great resort in general. Only positive is that the rooms were large, like an apartment. I would never stay there again.

The hotel rooms are exactly as described and shown online; however, the amenities were NOT what was/is advertised online or in-person (ads/marketing signs around the hotel). The restaurant and bar were closed and had been closed even at the time I made reservations on 11/30/23. The website does not include this information. I wasnt informed until I checked in and question why wasnt there any rooftop bar "band noise". I was told the food & beverage vendor was being replaced and it had been closed for several weeks. This also includes the room service and evening entertainment. I wanted bar service at the pool and that also was closed. There were signs inside each suite that advertise room service that had not been revised or disposed of. I selected this place and traveled from MI for the resort experience and was not informed prior so that I could determine if I wanted to keep my reservation. Very very disappointed. I spoke with Missy, the new manager, and she offered to take off the resort fees but that small amount does not recoup the amount I spent on this vacation and the fact I didnt get the experience I wanted.

Our stay was very nice. Staff was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. What we were disappointed with was the lack of someplace to eat on the premises. The restaurant The Vibe was closed for most of our stay.

First time staying here and couldn’t be more happy. Staff were great, the room was amazing, and the pool and spa area were exceptional. Only complaint I have is the restaurant. We thought we would give it a try one night and it was very disappointing. My rating would be 4.5 for that reason only. Also EVERYTHING is within walking distance. Beach, grocery store, restaurants. Rented a car and didn’t use it one time besides coming from airport. Also the beach is amazing….right there with siesta key. If Fusion gets the restaurant up to par this place would be the best resort around.

Beautiful resort! Wonderful heated pool and hot tub right on the backwaters, all units facing the water. Most amazing view! Very walkable to the beach, Publix and restaurants. The free bikes and golf cart shuttle were great. Our family absolutely loved staying here. The restaurant/bar was not open during our stay as they are under new management. We didn’t mind- plenty of places to grab food. Only down side (will not keep us from returning) is the pool doesn’t get sun during the winter and pool/hot tub close at 9 (seems early for vacation!). You can get sun on the amazing roof top tho! We did not get a unit with a washer and dryer wish they all had one (there was a spot/hookup for it!) but staff will clean/dry towels for you. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
