The breakfast was literally boiled eggs and an oatmeal packet. Also the charges forbtrash and linen ect.. Also yhevwb sote advertises thatthisbplacejas a pool. It does not have a pool. On arrival a sign said it was permanently closed.

The pool mentioned in the listing is permanently closed. Only one elevator works. I had to ask for basic toiletries for my room, they weren’t already there. Hallways smelled like weed. The free breakfast was granola bars, instant oatmeal, etc, nothing hot or prepared. My room was clean enough, the bed was ok, and the ac drowned out noise from other guests. Ok but not worth the cost.

Only 1 out of 2 elevator was working and they never bother to fix it. Breakfast coffee was disgusting, only cereal bars. Fire alarm went off at 1 am and happens more frequent than people think. Room is just not clean, squeaky floor. Some kind of brown stain on my curtains. Room smells. The surrounding environment was nice. I would stay at the hotel next door…

Room 521. When I entered the room the air conditioning was on. The temp was in the teens outside. I turned on heat it smelled like something was burning. I registered for 2 people and there was only enough towels for one. There is no clear number posted to the front desk so boyfriend had to go down and get them. There was no actual stovetop, there was some type of single burner electrical thing on the counter. There is a rule that if you do want to cook you have to use their supplies, which you also have to go down and get from the front desk. The bedside lamps are weird and you have to play with them to get them to work. There is a couch but no coffee table or end table. Your only options are to eat at the desk, on your lap, or in the bed. On arrival and of course after booking online there are notes all over saying that the water was going to be shut off at 9am for up to 5 hours. Also the pool is permanently closed. Not that I was going to use it but it should be known before booking. If you like total darkness for sleeping there was a light from the smoke detector that continuously blinks. It reminded me of when someone phone flashes when it rings except you cant stop it. There was a random weird noise that would stop and start coming from I dont know where. I wouldn’t stay here again, especially not for an extended time period. Good things were the fridge was full sized, the microwave worked and the room was clean less than 5 min from I-77 plenty of food options nearby

Everything was generally okay - nothing spectacular. The pool is permanently closed, so there is no pool anymore. Breakfast is just grab and go things (granola, muffins, yogurt) - not even basic cereals available. The fridge in our room could barely be considered room temperature, so definitely keep that in mind if you plan on storing perishable food.

We had ants in the bathroom. The floors were in need of a good scrubbing. And throughout the hotel and the elevator, the floors need attention. The windows definitely needed cleaning. Downstairs in the main lobby, it was pretty clean; but the hallways need cleaned. And the staff during the morning were very friendly. Check-in person when we arrived was not very friendly. I told him that my husband was hard of hearing and he still didn't speak up. (My husband was wearing his hearing aids at the time--even I had a hard time hearing him) This made us very uncomfortable. Made us feel very unwelcome also.

Upon arrival, the smell of recreation was noticeable outside. The smell was 10x stronger inside. As we were checking in, the number of people that walked by that were either extremely impaired or wearing half of their clothing was alarming. The room smelled, sticky floors and I lightly slept fully clothed!

The room was not available until over an hour past check-in time. The floors in the rooms were not clean - our socks/feet became black due to this. The hotel smelled of cigarettes despite being non-smoking. Additionally, we were planning to stay with other members of our family but the hotel cancelled their reservation after 3pm on check in day because they accidentally overbooked. We will not stay here again.

You could tell the room had minimum cleaning before we got there. When we brought attention to the cockroach that ran across the floor the following morning, staff "noted" the incedent, and that was end of story. Said they couldnt refund any portion due to the incident bc we paid in advance?? Not fully understanding that, and 100% dont agree with that from a customer service POV, but we just wanted to get the hell of there. 10 outta 10 will never recommend to anyone, and wont be visiting here again.

I stayed in room 420 it was cold and clean but as soon as i laid down i felt like i was getting bit by something didnt see any bed bugs but did find the room had roaches the next morning and night didnt have any food in the room found a dead roach in the fridge and around the bathroom personally i will not stay here again staff was friendly and nice breakfest was poor and NO MORE POOL THEY CLOSED IT FOR GOOD!!! Id look for another hotel

I liked that it was tucked away from the interstate (more quiet), but one of the elevators didn't work/the bottom of my feet were dirty as the floors need mopped in my room (309)/thinner walls overall with a airhorn that went off in the middle of the night outside my window. Basic breakfast was nice to come down to in the morning.

Walls are very thin, and im not really a fan of requesting everything that was stated as "comes with the room" the black out curtains were nice. I just wish they stated on all websites that the pool was down and it was only a grab and go breakfast. The Tv was mounted in a weird location so watching it from the bed or the couch was a whole ordeal.

Hot in the room, couldn’t adjust temperature. Lights sparked and turned off on arrival. Toilet was running and not flushing and was told “there’s no maintenance crew so I’m not sure what to do” and only offered a plunger which wouldn’t have helped in the situation. Room layout was strange for a “suite” and the bathroom was dirty i didn’t even take a shower there.

The property was decent, the bed & room was nice, but the bed was like sleeping on bricks it was so hard & uncomfortable.Pillows had no fluff at all..You would need at least 6 of those to be comfortable when sleeping.. Toilet was so low it was like sitting on a toddler potty..Elevators were filthy..

Front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. We were placed on the 6th floor which smelled awful. There were dirty towels and toilet plungers in the hallway. It reeked of cigarettes. We had a non smoking room but it smelled of cigarette smoke. The site we booked through said Queen beds, but these were double. The most of the power outlets didn’t work or they sparked when you tried to plug something in. The lights for the sink didn't work. There was trash hidden under the mattress (string cheese and cracker wrappers). We checked in late and were checking out early so didn’t say anything. As an extended stay- would have definitely complained if we were staying more than the one night.

Extended Stay gave my paid for room to someone else. When I attempted to check in they said they had no record of my reservation. Expedia was able to determine that they had given my room to someone else. Extended Stay attempted to rectify this by having me pay more money for a lesser room. Where I come from this is called 'bait and switch' When I declined Extended Stay's ludicrous offer the desk clerk said they would charge me $108 for not staying in the room they gave to someone else. I am looking forward to the small claims action requesting treble damages for fraud, court costs, and compensation for the angst I am suffering over this issue. Don't stay here unless you relish this kind of treatment.
Extended Stay gave my paid for room to someone else. When I attempted to check in they said they had no record of my reservation. Expedia was able to determine that they had given my room to someone else. Extended Stay attempted to rectify this by having me pay more money for a lesser room. Where I come from this is called 'bait and switch' When I declined Extended Stay's ludicrous offer the desk clerk said they would charge me $108 for not staying in the room they gave to someone else. I am looking forward to the small claims action requesting treble damages for fraud, court costs, and compensation for the angst I am suffering over this issue. Don't stay here unless you relish this kind of treatment.

Definitely were not prepared for a Huge concert weekend. Staffing was a HUGE issue. I did feel sorry for the one's that were there and working. Definitely need to work on obtaining and keeping staff.

Weren’t able to check in at 3 was told to go to the concert and room would be ready when he got back left at 4 room still not ready!! Got back from the concert at 1 and was told they weren’t able to give us the room we booked because all king rooms are gone! She said she called her boss she’s the only one who could switch the room to a queen!! Finally at 230am I said can u refund me for the reservation and give me the 2 queen room she said yes! Gave me Keys for room 322 and it was already occupied at 245am so had to go back down get a new room and we didn’t get to sleep til 3am!!

We (6 persons in our party) booked 2 rooms via Expedia 3 months in advance foe a whole week. We traveled from NY to come here for the Cleveland Clinic. When we got here, checked in and went to what was supposed to be our room. It had 1 bed and a recliner and the door lock was broken, unable to lock the door for safety and security. We are 4 adults and I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds for all of us. I went downstairs to the desk to complain and get our room changed to what was reserved, I was told by the desk clerk that since we had used a 3rd party company to make reservations that they had the right to change the reservations if they wanted to at anytime. Apparently it doesn't matter that we were inconvenienced and that I had reserved the rooms 3 months prior for a whole week, they can just change the reservations anytime they want WITHOUT telling the customers anything. NO PHONE CALLS, NO EMAILS, NO NOTHING !! The desk Clerk was very rude about everything and told us that we just had to deal with it. He refused to let me speak with a manager either. First they didn’t have housekeeping so no one could get into the room. Then they said we didn’t have a room when we made it back from a concert. We had to sleep in our car. They said they couldn’t find my reservation then they said they gave it to another person named Sherri. They said I could get a room but would have to pay for it. I clearly reserved a room in January. I requested a refund from this terrible hotel. Getting refund doesn’t even cut it for what we had to go through. I liked that it was tucked away from the interstate (more quiet), but one of the elevators didn't work/the bottom of my feet were dirty as the floors need mopped in my room (309)/thinner walls overall with a airhorn that went off in the middle of the night outside my window. Basic breakfast was nice to come down to in the morning.

Room 521. When I entered the room the air conditioning was on. The temp was in the teens outside. I turned on heat it smelled like something was burning. I registered for 2 people and there was only enough towels for one. There is no clear number posted to the front desk so boyfriend had to go down and get them. There was no actual stovetop, there was some type of single burner electrical thing on the counter. There is a rule that if you do want to cook you have to use their supplies, which you also have to go down and get from the front desk. The bedside lamps are weird and you have to play with them to get them to work. There is a couch but no coffee table or end table. Your only options are to eat at the desk, on your lap, or in the bed. On arrival and of course after booking online there are notes all over saying that the water was going to be shut off at 9am for up to 5 hours. Also the pool is permanently closed. Not that I was going to use it but it should be known before booking. If you like total darkness for sleeping there was a light from the smoke detector that continuously blinks. It reminded me of when someone phone flashes when it rings except you cant stop it. There was a random weird noise that would stop and start coming from I dont know where. I wouldn’t stay here again, especially not for an extended time period. Good things were the fridge was full sized, the microwave worked and the room was clean less than 5 min from I-77 plenty of food options nearby

The staff was terrible, parking was fine, the hotel's condition was very rough, and the long-term clientele was pretty rough. I've never had to pay a security deposit before for potential damages, which should've been the first clue. The room was clean and setup was good for our family of six. They had a limited supply of linens (no extra pillows for our fold-out bed). Room temp was good. The hallways had spilled food on the sixth floor. There was no food available for the continental breakfast, just coffee and cocoa. Checkout was quick and easy as was check-in. It seems a little odd to have a $100 security deposit that won’t be refunded for another week.

They had NOTHING for breakfast except coffee (with some doubtable and insoluble creamer)!!! Moreover, when we didn’t have any towels. I had to go down 4 floors to personally pick them up. If you want to SAVE MONEY then stay here otherwise DO NOT. To be fair it's 15 minutes to rock & roll hall of fame or anything downtown. Hotel is too old needs renovation badly. The iron was missing,front desk says they couldn't find one( no big deal). Went down for free breakfast, just crappy coffee and a couple of breakfast bars( very disappointed) no in-room coffee maker or cups,shower barely had flow,toilet barely flushed. Parking was easy. Overall not a good stay. Would not stay again
