The swimming pool could definitely use a scrubbing, along the walls of the pool, the bottom of the pool, and the waterfalls don’t work, barely any water coming out of them. This is an indoor pool. In the hotel room, in the bathroom, you could tell the glass shower doors had soap scum on them. We ate breakfast, the food we oredered was cooked to order was great, except I got brought, hard cold toast. The butter wouldn’t melt on it. I got an apology, but not another one, and by the time I ate everything, there was no point. Other than those things it was ok, I’ve stayed in Hilton garden inn’s before, and seen better, as far as cleanliness.

Mixed Feelings at a Beautiful Property I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some standout highlights, a few communication hiccups kept it from being a perfect five-star experience. While I was disappointed to find there was no pool or whirlpool, the hotel made up for it with other practical features: • Fitness Center: Well-maintained and a great addition for staying active. • Guest Laundry: Having access to washing machines was a huge plus for a longer stay. • Food & Drink: They have a fantastic selection of beer, wine, and snacks available. • Breakfast: Truly impressive! Came into town for a funeral & had a bad Airbnb experience, so booked this hotel 10min before I showed up. Staff was so friendly when I checked in & every time I saw them. Hotel was clean & had everything I needed, including free guest laundry, which was so helpful after driving for 5 days & having to leave my Airbnb because it was dirty.

Very nice new facility. I was traveling alone and it would have been nice to have a cart to take my luggage to my room. Supposedly they had 3 that couldn’t be found while I was there. Installation between rooms could have been better. I was awakened at 6:30AM with T.V. Next door. Room was very nice but mattress was not ver comfortable. Kinda was sunken on side.

Son’s birthday weekend spending time with granddaughter. We were pleased with the hotel overall, saddened that the pool was closed. The staff said it had been closed for the past 7 months! Disappointed granddaughter as she loves to swim.

Staff was amazing. The property was very nice in the common areas. Loved the bar and outdoor seating areas. Breakfast is not worth the price, definitely eat off property. My only complaint was the bathroom. I will admit I'm picky in this area, but it was not pleasant to see the residue around the toilet, dirt in the corners of the floor, dingy yellow tub, and the moldy corners in the shower. With cleaner and updated bathrooms, I'd be more than happy to stay here again on our next visit.

Wonderful hotel! Exceeded our expectations by far! From check in to check out, everything was easy and great! Front desk was very welcoming and always helpful. Room was much bigger than expected, very clean and quiet. We booked the King room with kitchen and living room, was so worth it! Very spacious and nice setup with full size fridge, sink and counter area and table with seats. Exactly what we needed and more. It was also nice that the bedroom was separate with its own door. We didn’t try the food or bar but looked nice as well. Great hotel, definitely recommend and will stay again when in Lubbock.

Stay in this hotel often for medical visits. Generally great rooms and pleasant staff. This time our room was not up to the standards we expect of this hotel. Carpet had spots on it, the bathroom wall paper was peeling and discoloration on the tiles. Queen size beds seemed more like doubles and were very uncomfortable. We will continue to stay in this hotel just not this room, which we requested due to roll in shower and close proximity to front desk.

The waiter this morning for breakfast was awesome!!! He made sure I had reg fresh coffee that was just brewed and overall had such a great attitude that it lifted my spirits! Check in was easy check out even easier!!

The young man at the front desk was excellent. He had to work a double shift but he was still working hard and being congenial the next morning. Clean hotel, clean and safe (looking) area. The hotel was booked so it was really tough to find a parking space, but they were booked solid. I’d definitely stay there again.

Good: Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Lots of channels on TV. On site restaurant. Front desk always has a smile. Decent pillows for a Hilton range hotel. Bad: showers weak even for water saving models; room fridge cool not cold; maid service only every other day; restaurant does breakfast and dinner, but not lunch or room service; scratchy towels Ugly: noisy AC but couldn't fix or move me for a day, then the next morning maintenance tried to open the door to fix it even with the Do-Not-Disturb sign on the door. Luckily I had the bar lock on it. Thought it was a freak thing or an AC contractor who didn't know, but then later the maid service cleaned my room mid-day (on a no clean day anyway) when I had left for a bit with the Do-Not-Disturb sign left on the door too.

From the check in clerk - to the housekeeper help to the breakfast waitress and chef to the lobby attendant, to the check out clerk - EVERY SINGLE PERSON GREETED US AND TRULY SEEMED SINCERE in wanting our stay to be the best. I've only seen this excellence in service at a 5 star hotel in Capetown, South Africa. Whoever that GM is needs to be commended on staff training.

Very nice hotel and lots of areas to shop, grab a bite to eat, and a couple of gas stations nearby. The hotel is near a Main Event (bowling alley/arcade place) so it’s great for a family that has children or young adults who want to have fun. There is also a mall a few miles away if you feel like shopping around the area. The hotel itself is beautiful and quaint. The interior design is lovely. The room I stayed in was perfect for me and my friend during our stay. Everything was clean and smelled great walking in. There’s a free washer and dryer area for guests who plan to stay for more than a week. The pool was unfortunately closed but it was okay since the weather was a bit cold during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to people I know who plan to visit Lubbock. Will come back to this hotel whenever I’m in the area again.

Sam’s is literally just around the corner along with Saltgrass Steakhouse, Party City, Main Event and much more. Literally 7 minute drive to Tech. Great location, facilities and personnel were top notch!

I did my research before I booked. I had two criteria - location and onsite restaurant/bar - and this hotel fit both. The location was ideal (to my student's house) and close to some great restaurants. The hotel was very clean, very nice rooms, quality furnishings. I was happy with all that. My complaint is the restaurant/bar. My second night was on a Sunday night and I planned to stay in and eat/drink and watch a game on the tv in the lounge area. I went to eat at about 7:30 and whole area was dark/closed. Front desk told me they were down to one worker/bartender and decided to give them the night off. Happy for them, but not for me. Really disappointed. Yes I got in my car to go get food but my criteria #2 was not met. I won't be back.

I checked in on Sunday and was unaware of their kitchen no longer being open on Sunday evenings. I was grateful they had sandwiches premade in the lobby. Tuesday night, upon coming in from a very long day, the kitchen was closed due to a software issue. Again, I grabbed a premade sandwich and went to my room. One of the reasons I frequent this place is the food service. It is consistently good and without surprise. I typically work 12 hour days and then work longer with a good dinner in the lobby. This time, it did not happen. I like this place. I hope this is not a trend.
