The stay. was fine. Room was clean and neat. The front desk Eric was very nice and helpful in answering my questions. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of food. Crapes were yummy, coffee was above average, and the staff was efficient. Parking was the only drawback. Not enough spaces and had to drive around the parking structure to enter in another entrance. Not as convenient.

6am-11am roof top pool & spa are great! Huge Cinemark theater across the way. Peppermill is just up the road. Black Bear Diner across the street. Even Atlantis is walkable. Good clean area. Love their king beds. Almost as comfy as home! Shower is awesome. Convenient to have fridge/sink/microwave too. Lighting in bathroom still sucks & first time on Virginia Street side. Noisy but not terrible. Not a fan of the chain drawstring window blind but it’s doable. Overall we will continue to stay here! Oh, and the buffet breakfast is ALWAYS delicious!! (Wish parking was included).

We didn’t like that there was limited hotel parking and that we incurred a $15 a day parking fee. Breakfast was tasty and complimentary! We did find it strange that most housekeeping staff did not understand English. We asked for a few items and at least 4 different employees could not comprehend what we were asking for ie: a garbage bag, glasses for the room, towels, and a bathroom scale to weigh our luggage. Usually there is a scale in every fitness center of every hotel we’ve ever stayed in. But not here. Perhaps they could put one in.

Brand new facility. It is beautiful - our first experience with an “environmentally conscious” hotel. But there are a few issues. The architect probably lives in a warm climate and didn’t think of some issues where the temperature drops below freezing or when there is snow. The hot tub was amazing but the pool deck was very, very slippery. It’s probably a law suit waiting to happen. The elevator in the parking garage was not functioning. We had to drag our luggage over paver sections thru wet sand. The parking garage is sectioned because other facilities also use it. But it’s very difficult to maneuver. And you pay $10 to park. In the room, the toilet paper holder is hard to reach. The waterfall shower head is nice but it’s hard to maneuver the control. A hook for my hanging toiletry bag would be nice. The bed and pillows were awesome but I bruised my shin on the bed corner so I had to pad it for my visit. The staff was amazing- specially the night shift. Breakfast was very “basic” - a step up from continental.I’m sure some of the issues will be addressed eventually - and most likely because it’s a new facility.

We had a great stay. It was a perfect very dog friendly hotel. The hotel was very clean and had nice modern decor. The surrounding property was nicely landscaped, well lit at night and felt very safe. The only disappointment was that the bar hours are listed as open until 10pm Friday and Saturday and on the Friday night we stayed the bar was closed by 9:15pm without much of an explanation from the front desk as to why this listed amenity was not available as advertised.

Fairly new hotel with great amenities. The housekeeping was an area that could use improvement. For four days no one changed our trash, the last day we did get our bed made and new towels, but the trash remained. Also, there was trash placed in the trash cans near the elevators. Probably because it wasn’t removed from the room. Also spilled milk on the elevators that was there for 24 hrs. Other than that it was awesom! Great breakfast and a cool vibe.

This was not what I expected. The room I received was right along one of the busiest streets in town and I could hear every car, bus, motorcycle, and ufo. The second night the dog in the room next to mine decided to bark until I believe someone tranquillized it. But that noise was replaced with a wild child running lose Down the hall… this was at 11:00pm or so. On my third night I was surprised by an extra guest in my room. A baby roach. Other critiques: why provide shampoo and conditioner in a wall mounted pump but no body wash, no place to put your body wash or loofah besides the floor. They provide a microwave, glass mugs, and dish soap with sponge but no plates/ bowls?

Room had a strong odor from cooking. Did not feel clean and I found someone else’s dried up contacts in my towels which tells me the towels were NOT washed. Towel rack broken as well as the window shade rope.

The staff was very kind and the breakfast was phenomenal. The 2nd floor had a bad smell to it and the shower was very slippery. Other than that, the facilities were excellent and the service was excellent!

It’s a very good property. It looks either new or remodeled recently. Great breakfast! Room is not very big, but it’s big enough. Close to movie theater and grocery shopping if needed. Good for families because it’s a suite. Only downside is that sometimes the road traffic is noisy at night.

The hotel was very nice. Clean, modern and great amenities. The breakfast was not the usual continental spread, they offered hot, cook to order items, very good. My only complaint- my room was facing the street- traffic was very loud. Need better insulation

We went to Reno for a car show at the Convention center and everything was great. Minus the noises on the Main Street at night with cars going by but that has nothing to do with the hotel they can’t control that. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Staff was amazing. Very nice. The pool area was beautiful and great to hang out with our group that stayed there too. The bar was nice too, the bar food was amazing especially the flat breads. The breakfast had plenty of options for a quick grab to tie you over til lunch, but go early, we went around 730 and there was so much food left. Don’t expect like a buffet cuz it’s not. There’s cereal, oatmeal bar muffins bagels. And they had French toast bacon and eggs. The coffee was fabulous. If we go back to Reno which is in the plans we will stay again

Property was decent. Very nice lobby with lounge and plenty of seating. Staff was great. Room was clean and newer. The big issue was that my room faced a very busy street and the car noise at night was unbearable. I am a pretty heavy sleeper and still was woken by the noise.

The room given to us 535 was near the main door every time it opens we thought our door was being open by someone outside. The shower has no soap it was empty. there was a used soap inside the shower. and the front desk didn't even bother to apologize upon check out. he was so nonchalant about it. I have a video to support this. overall the hotel maybe new but details are so poor. housekeeping should pay attention to the amenities of the room. Don't be lazy and incompetent. the bed was comfy.

THE REASON FOR THE LOWER SCORE: WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF LEAVING AND HEADING EAST TO OUR DESTINATION, I REALIZED I HAD LEFT 2 OF MY 32 OZ CUSTOM PAINTED STAINLESS STEEL WATER BOTTLES IN THE REFRIGERATOR IN OUR ROOM. I CALLED, LEFT A MESSAGE ON THE LOST & FOUND VOICEMAIL SAYING I WOULD BE RETURNING ON MONDAY, MARCH 11 AND WOULD LIKE TO PICK THEM UP. WHEN I CAME IN ABOUT 10:30 AM MONDAY, THE MAN AT THE FRONT DESK WAS DISBELIEVING AND UNHELPFUL. KEPT ASKING THE SAME QUESTION ABOUT 5-6 TIMES, DID SOMEBODY CALL YOU BACK? HE WAS ACTUALLY A LITTLE RUDE ABOUT IT. WHY WOULD YOUR HOTEL HAVE A LOST & FOUND VOICEMAIL BOX, IF NOBODY IS GOING TO CHECK IT? OR HAVE AN ACTUAL LOST & FOUND? I CALLED, LEFT A MESSAGE ON THE LOST & FOUND VOICEMAIL SAYING I WOULD BE RETURNING ON MONDAY, MARCH 11 AND WOULD LIKE TO PICK THEM UP. WHEN I CAME IN ABOUT 10:30 AM MONDAY, THE MAN AT THE FRONT DESK WAS DISBELIEVING AND UNHELPFUL. KEPT ASKING THE SAME QUESTION ABOUT 5-6 TIMES, DID SOMEBODY CALL YOU BACK? When we arrived at check in time of 3 PM our room was not ready until 5PM. While we watched other guests being checked in. This was unacceptable! This definitely affected our stay there as we missed our dinner reservation with family that we were visiting there. The room faced a major road and the noise was horrible. We chose this hotel because of the Element experience we have had at other locations were amazing, unfortunately not this time.

After flight delays I had a very late check in. The front desk worker was so friendly and helpful at 11:30 pm! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and well stocked. Thank you!

6am-11am roof top pool & spa are great! Huge Cinemark theater across the way. Peppermill is just up the road. Black Bear Diner across the street. Even Atlantis is walkable. Good clean area. Love their king beds. Almost as comfy as home! Shower is awesome. Convenient to have fridge/sink/microwave too. Lighting in bathroom still sucks & first time on Virginia Street side. Noisy but not terrible. Not a fan of the chain drawstring window blind but it’s doable. Overall we will continue to stay here! Oh, and the buffet breakfast is ALWAYS delicious!! (Wish parking was included).

I purchased the suite and was surprised how small it was. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included so not that great. The coffee was terrible. Banana muffins were good. I had the feeling the hotel was designed by someone who has never stayed at a hotel. All the boxes were checked but some attention to detail would have gone a long way.

It’s a fabulous experience for our first stay at Reno. The suit is very convenient for family with 2 kids. Breakfast is served with good quality, fresh food every morning. We will definitely come what.

Four stars based on the price point. Clean, great staff, hotel is visually appealing, some flaws in functionality and quality though. Blinds broke, no fan in bathroom, had to have TV fixed, breakfast was great one day not great another, furniture uncomfortable. Overall would stay again even with flaws.

The hotel is new and beautiful, but as with most newer things, there are some kinks. For example, the breakfast area was too small to accommodate all the guests, there was confusion about where lines were, and the overflow of people ended up in the bar area and all over the lobby. The bar area is where we ate and had not been cleaned from the night before. The espresso machine was also unreliable. It was broken, but no one put an out of order sign on it, they kept promising to fix it, but never did. We were also traveling with dogs, and the hotel states “As part of our Love that Dog program, we’ll provide our signature dog bed, food, water bowls, and clean-up supplies during your stay.” The hotel charges a nonrefundable fee of $250 for your dog. We had to ask for the dog bed, which our dogs absolutely loved!!! But nothing else was provided except bags at the dog area. Outdoor pool was not stocked with towels. Also had to request those. I’m going to assume these things are all links due to being newer. We did really enjoy the hotel despite these things and would stay here again. I’m willing to give them more chances in the future and will say the bed was comfortable. Beautiful rooms.

This is a pet friendly hotel and it is our top choice when we go to Reno. In the past, the hotel did not charge for parking, and now they do. The parking slots are limited, so even we paid for parking, when we came back late at night, we were not able to find a spot. The complimentary breakfast is nice but items are very limited. We went down at 9am and was told the bacons were out.

This place had a GREAT breakfast buffet. Both my daughter and I have celiac that most of the time we can’t eat anything. This hotel (first time seeing this done) had a gf area with certified hi bagels. I was so happy. Then the next am the guy remembered me and made me a gf bagel sandwich. Never had that great experience before.

We had a great stay. It was a perfect very dog friendly hotel. The hotel was very clean and had nice modern decor. The surrounding property was nicely landscaped, well lit at night and felt very safe. The only disappointment was that the bar hours are listed as open until 10pm Friday and Saturday and on the Friday night we stayed the bar was closed by 9:15pm without much of an explanation from the front desk as to why this listed amenity was not available as advertised.

This is a new property and the lobby area and parking garage are shiny and fresh. Our room, however, had a musty smell that they tried to cover up with a strong perfume or air freshener spray. I would say that this was the worst Element we have stayed at (compared to two others). It was fine but not amazing like the other ones.

This hotel is way over priced and lack of proper management. When we arrived at our room, by the door there was still a pile of garbage left by the previous owner. Inside the kitchen cabinet, the trash can was full as well. We had to call the housekeeping which was the front desk twice to have them removed. Yet the hotel has audacity to charge us $120 pet cleaning fee for just one night, which added to the bill and made it total $700, not mention the low quality breakfast choice. This is a shameless rip-off.
