Great staff and the property was in excellent shape. Loved the bartender.My only complaint is the parking situation.You had to park in a lot across the street and a bit down from the hotel,I was concerned about the safety and felt the lot was not secure

We travel to Syracuse a few times a year to see family. Wish we had tried Aloft earlier. It’s very close to the family. Love the open bar and food area. The gym is great and having a pool is awesome. Limited restaurants in walking distance. But Cafe Blue is great for breakfast.

Really fun lobby area with free pool table, table games that can be signed out at no cost, etc. Plinko game at check in where you win prizes from free breakfast to drinks at the bar. Everything was clean but there was a strong maybe carpet shampoo smell when we got to the room, but overall it was a nice stay. Bar tender left early, granted it was a Sunday night, but it altered our plans, only reason for the 4 star sections.

My kids favorite part about staying in a hotel is the pool. The pool at this hotel was freezing, my kids could barely stay in there longer than 10 minutes. There were also little ants crawling alongside the pool from one end to the next and a dirty random sock in the lounge chair. The staff at the front desk were great but not happy with the pool situation and also we could hear the toilet flush in the room above us..walls were paper thin. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, also due to the location and not much being in walking distance.

This hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. The parking is a little strange and a bit of a walk which on a cold January day was somewhat unpleasant but I would still stay here again in the future despite that one minor flaw.

Loved the hotel itself, will definitely return. Was not a fan of the parking situation - parking was only available on the street or in a lot across from the hotel which I found very strange and inconvenient. It's on the water which is nice but it's also close to some not great places.

Starting with the positives...the lobby was beautiful and clean, the parking was vast and convenient and the staff was accommodating. Now for the negatives, which overshadow everything else. Our electronic room blinds kept going up and down on their own throughout the night, keeping us up. We could not control them, so during the day we were in complete darkness and at night when they opened on their own, we had street light blaring in. The air conditioner kept pumping out hot air and was so loud that we had to watch tv with the subtitles on. Finally, the awful smell coming from the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor was so bad that we had to keep the door closed all night. Also had to call to have the battery changed for the safe. Like I said, it was rough!

First off, all staff was very friendly and nice. Always there to help and assist. The rooms, pool, and common areas all super clean. Very close to the mall and surrounding restaurants making it the perfect spot to stay. Loved the GF options for food as someone with celiac disease many hotels I have stayed at do not offer GF so that was a huge plus! We will be staying here again and its pet friendly !!! One of my hotel favorites for me and my daughter. !!

Good: manager allowed my son to use the conference room for an online class he was taking, on-site coin laundry, hip lobby area with tables, young clientele, self-serve market area, nice newer bathroom. Elevators quick and always available. Bad: Very dark room, poor lighting. Terrible communication on maid service. Only replaced towels one day, room left a mess. Other day, didn’t replace coffee, cups, water, Kleenex, etc. They only service rooms till 1:00-that’s apparently when the maids leave, inconvenient for sleeping in.

In a terrible depressed area. Continental breakfast terrible. One wall separating bed area from bathroom sink didn’t even go to the ceiling. Sink out in the open, shower and toilet had a door but no separate light, one small hook to hold your clothes. No hook for towel. No shelf in shower for your soap/shampoo etc. they provide toiletries but you prob want to use your own. Lights in sink area so bright and wall not reaching to ceiling left u with a choice of sleeping in bright light or total and complete darkness. Shades had to be down because of outside light. Heat/cooling unit very loud. No way shown on phone to reach the front desk. The Destiny USA mall was less than a half mile away. But everything else in the area seriously depressed, run down, abandoned. One new building not fully occupied yet but the area has a very long way to go!. I understand except for the area most Aloft hotels are set up similarly and so I will not book another, no matter where it is!

Aloft never disappoints. We’ve stayed at quite a few of them. They re always clean, easy to get to and we’re always met with friendly staff. The Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor was our last stop on a week’s vacation. We chose the inner harbor location so we could walk easily to get something to eat - which was the case. A brewery was a short 3-6 min walk. Our room was great - as usual. A super comfortable bed with excellent pillows. The shower was great as well. Alofts are so nice to stay at. If there's one in the area we’re going - we stay there.

This is not the place to go if you are looking for a romantic get away. The walls are very thin, you could hear everything that goes on in the hallway and in the rooms next to you. Maybe the front desk person should try to put families with kids on the same floor.

Family of four, booked two Queen beds - were given two double beds and told they don’t have Queen beds. Ventilation system is crazy loud and hard to fall asleep to. Purchased breakfast for four, given vouchers for only two. Very modern design and pretty lobby area, good location. Free coffee and fruit in lobby.

Great place to stay in Syracuse, close to Onondaga Creek walk trail for walking and biking and this trail leads to NYS trail around Onondaga Lake. Good breakfast food, nice patio for outside lounging. Very helpful front desk staff.

Awful booking. Could not get my money back for an accidental extra room when we had multiple rooms already booked for a tournament and lost out on my money for a one night stay. Front desk was no help and fought about it. Wouldnt book here again.

Stayed here for the Inner Harbor Taco/Margarita festival. Great location - steps away from the Inner Harbor and a quick drive to downtown Cuse. Nice bar. Nice pool (though a bit chilly) Great snack options including Gluten Free choices (which we both need) The room was nice , only complaint is the noise. Walls must be paper thin because we heard external noises all night. Not terrible but not great if you're in search of some solid sack time. Not the cheapest option but if you don't have a DD or want to pay for an Uber its perfect.

Slept here for the night after a concert. Was easy to get to from venue. Very friendly staff was happy about bar service and was able to get food from bar [wings were great] . There's a nice outdoor area to relax and the hotel lobby lounge was also great. Room was big , clean and bed was comfortable and clean. Hallways were very fragrant [I'm guessing from carpet cleaner] but it didnt bother me.. great stay and. Would stay again.

Great set up. We brought our two dogs, who were very welcome. Had a drink at the bar and a convenient breakfast. Room was large, but was comfortable. Definitely would stay shain
