Property seems to be in a state of disrepair, and I believe it is pretty new! Pool was broken, public restrooms out of order, queen bed in our room sitting on a broken frame and had an ear-piercing metal screech m with every movement. Is also facing a freeway and very loud. The floor in our room was sticky and covered with previous guest hair. My wife got down on the floor and did a hand mop! On the plus side, decent breakfast and a large, well-equipped fitness room. For nearly $200 per night, we were disappointed.

Excellent stay. If you’re coming to visit TT this location was super convenient. About 14 min from airport, about 6 minutes from campus. Ample parking. Breakfast in morning was plentiful w a lot of variety; hot and cold, etc., and stocked the entire time. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful from the front desk to cleaning crew. Pool area was cleaned & stocked w towels. Plenty of seating and tables. Room was clean. Water temp and pressures in bathroom perfect. Had plenty of the soap and shampoos etc if you want to leave that behind (Dove brand). It was quiet. There are areas you’ll see if you never been here if little houses that have been left behind as the area upgraded and modernized but don’t let that fool you. I didn’t see any people causing troubles, etc. everything is like 5 minutes from this location: stores, restaurants, TT, gas, etc. highly recommend. Praise for the whole team esp the young lady keeping the breakfast line stocked and clean. There was a young male golf tournament going on when I was there and the place was stocked and cleaned despite the crowd. Would definitely stay here when I visit my student in the future.

The hotel was extremely clean and service was great. The breakfast was decent for what it was. We we enjoyed our stay and used the gym room as well. It was just a few minutes from Texas Tech and local restaurants .

Generally nice hotel with a good breakfast and nice comfy beds. The bathroom was a little dirty and there was a sound coming from the vent the whole time. The floors in the room were stick, too. But great location and good price.

We had absolutely no problems with the room or the hotel . The only issue was no maid service. We had left the dirty towels on the floor and no one ever came to pick them up and bring us clean towels.

Great stay. Sausage was a bit undercooked for breakfast. Would have preferred bacon with the other selections they had. Great choices. Bit more attention needed to cleaning floors in the rooms for hair.

We didn’t get to stay there. We were told at check in that they had no water but it was expected to be back on by 6:00 pm. So we went and ate supper and came back about 7:30 pm and we were told still no water and it might not be back on till after midnight or even next morning. We had to check out and find another hotel last minute. Not only have we already been charged for the room but lost all my one-key rewards.

Day and night you could hear water running in the walls, I'm assuming everytime someone was showering or flushing the toilet. All night long you could hear people running up and down the halls and above us. This was really unacceptable considering we were there for a sporting event and my chils couldn't get any rest with all the noise! I will not be back to this facility or suggest it to anyone.

The girl that checked me in was nice but kept calling me honey and things like that. Ma’am is fine but I could be her mother so I dont want to be called honey. The room was very clean besides some hairs infromt od the tub. Unfortunately checkout went very poorly. Our key device ran out of batteries and we ended up 30 mins delayed leaving to get in for our things after breakfast. Worse than that - without me present they gave my 17yr old son access to my room without showing ID. His name was not on the room anyways. Yes he’s a polite young man with his football teams hoodie on but that is UNSAFE for women to allow anyone access without following protocol. The man checking me out said he can “just tell” if they’re lying. No sir. He finally admitted he broke protocol. Be aware women!

My only negative is that I called a week ahead to change our king with couch room to a two queen accessible room, since we took our 93 year old mother. The desk staff was annoyed and thought we should sleep on the couch. I wasn’t going to pay nearly $300 each night for two nights on a pull out couch. She said she made the change, but once we arrived, we were still booked with the couch. Luckily the staff that day was able to move us. Not impressed with staff member.

I do like that the hotel located near the highway. But I didn't feel safe. I had 2 kids with me. Due to some disturbing happening before our arrival. The hotel host should have call the police with what was happening. Instead of letting things intensified. Please be careful when traveling late to a hotel. There are so much hate crime happening lately. I do not like how this location is handling this situation.

The only thing that prevented me from giving a 5 star review was the toilet rocked when you sat down. Everything was good. I happen to know Lubbock really well and the area of the hotel worried me a little. However, had no safety issues arise on this trip.

Loved our one night stay here! It was very clean and that says alot as I'm particular and normally clean every hotel I go to but I didnt feel the need to here. Very conveniently located next to Texas Tech. The breakfast was okay- it could definitely be better and no where near as good as Embassy Suites. Will definitely visit again if my son decides on going to school there.

It was the halfway point on our vacation drive to NM. We enjoyed our stay on the way there so we decided to stay on the way back. This hotel is very clean, well maintained, with some of the best beds we have slept on in years. I highly recommend this location for it's convenience to hwy 82/84 and the local restaurants.

The property and rooms were very clean, nice & well-maintained. Staff greeted us warmly. Housekeeping took great care with our room, and we enjoyed coffee as well as their breakfast. We were fortunate to have a room on the "back side" of the hotel. There is some "road noise" due to the close proximity to the highway. The area surrounding the property is older. I think it would have felt safer with better lighting. It is close to a few restaurants and the university.
