The hotel is nice but very dark. The room was also very dark. It was a nice room. It overlooks the highway which the nice doesn’t bother me at all. Floors need to be a bit more clean. I felt the parking rate was about excessive. I understand everyone charges but I usually pay 15-20, not 30 a night Overall it served its purpose.

The traffic noise is so loud they provide earplugs (which are no help). We not only had the traffic side of the building but also were put right above the patio - where they left the music on all night even though no one was out there! The roof deck is nice, but that’s all it is - a roof deck. No food, no drinks, just some tables. There was a FREE shuttle service that goes within a 3 mile radius that no one told us about, so wasted money on Ubers. Parking says $22/day, but with taxes it’s $33! Would not recommend.

Lovely property. Loved the accessible rooftop with lovely view of the Hot Metal bridge. Location was somewhat isolated but we accessed the hotels free shuttle, that covers a 3m radius and found it to be perfect. We loved the proximity to protected walking/biking trials.

We did not like what was called complimentary transportation. In the morning, when we came, he wasn't there, and will return possibly by 8:30 or later, we didn't have definite answer and when we needed to be picked up, we were told we need to wait up to 30 minutes. Before reservation was completed, i called and confirmed that most we wait is 10-15 minutes, but it was not like that. Also their couches super uncomfortable and my daughter was complaining of metal parts sticking out, so we had to call frontdesk to get new bed, which honesty wasn't any better. Other then that hotel is nice, location and parking are super, it has very nice restaurant in the lobby that opens very early and closes very late. We also had a river view...that was truly amazing.

Attended a wedding nearby & this hotel was recommended by the couple. Our room (King bed) was HUGE, and had everything we needed. Particularly loved that there's a communal balcony so you can "stay in" and still enjoy the weather. There is parking nearby so paying for their parking lot is not a must; free coffee in the Lobby in the mornings (wish I knew that earlier); and yes, the hotel abuts the highway, but the traffic noise isn't overwhelming (unless you live in the boonies & are used to dead silence I guess).

Staff is excellent. Small but very nice gym. Location is a bit difficult to get to from Oakland, especially with the traffic on Bates St. One elevator was out of service, the other elevator was very slow. Ridiculous wait time to go up and down. Food and service at Eliza's is great. Rooms facing the Parkway are quite noisy.

Very clean! Good food in the restaurant. I like the decor as it represents the city. I would stay here again, however, I will bring my own pillow. The pillows in the room are very thick and stuffed firm. They were too tall for both of us. That is just personal preference.

Love the room and its cleanliness. Service staff was professional and prompt in response. The artefacts salvaged from US Steel mill demolished in 2018 integrated well with the hotel's modern design and invoked good understanding of the history of Pittsburgh. We love our stay!

A very beautiful and stylish hotel conveniently located by the highway. This is one of the few hotels where the pictures don’t even do it justice. The lobby and rooms were bigger than expected. One small thing was it looked like the shower wasn’t cleaned as well as I should have been. I noticed some residue in the corners. Other than that, I just love Indigo Hotels, they never disappoint.

When i first came in i wasn’t greeted the front desk made me feel uncomfortable checking in , i booked for a river view and they put me on the second floor where when you open the windows all you could see is there garage and ventilation system, the covers had black stains on them and hair was in the shower

The lobby is huge and has a beautiful Industrial decor. Stunning. Check in was quick. Parking was $22 a night. My double bed suite was very roomy. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower had mold and dirty grungy floor with a rusted drain. The bathroom ruined the stay. Also the restaurant and bar closed early and there is no other place near there to have a snack or drink. It was disappointing. There was only one elevator working and had long wait and had to ride the elevator with the housekeeping carts. For the prices they charge they definitely need to make changes and get more staff.

Pros: Helpful staff, nice building, and conveniently located to many Pittsburgh destination. Cons: Room condition was dirty and a few items needed maintenance (dirty air conditioning vents, soiled carpeting, loose toilet seat, and burnt out light bulb). Also, hotel is located next to an expressway -- make sure you request a room on the side of the hotel facing the river if truck noise, etc., will impact your sleep.

The hotel was very new, comfortable and clean. The valet driver for the car service Marvin was EXCELLENT, he was super knowledgeable about the town and was a true gentleman. All that said, I would never stay there again because of the highway noise in the room. The highway which is 50 feet away from the hotel is EXTREMELY noisey all through the night making it very difficult to sleep soundly. I even tried the ear plugs but it did not help.

So upon checking in I was told that room was not ready even though it was 2 hours past check in! Was told it was because of preferred customer who used Indigo points and if I had this I would not have too wait. Crazy excuse as I have stayed in much less costly places and never had to wait to get into my room! Also the room was so dark, hardly any lighting . Trying to get the industrial vibe in room but it was super dark even with all the lights lit! Also room was facing the highway so very noisy !

Very noisy if you are assigned a room facing the road and highway. You couldn't fall asleep and will be woken up midnight by the traffic outside. Water pressure is very low and unusable. The receptionists are always on the phone servicing other customers. You will be kept waiting.

Nice property and comfortable room. The room faced the highway, road noise a bit loud, would request to be away from this side in a subsequent visit. Front desk team polite and hospitable but a ball-drop on checkin double charged my card. Manager Max did a great job of correcting the issue, his response was perfect…thanks!

The rooms are great - clean, new, comfortable. The two big problems are that if you aren’t there for the tech center, it’s not convenient to anything. Buses run only to downtown not to any other neighborhood. We also had a negative experience with the check in staff. We were early (like 10:30am) after flying in from Raleigh. I always ask to see if there’s a room available early. Most hotels check and the answer is either yes (and we check in) or no (and they store luggage until it’s available). This time it felt like it was a major effort for the staff to get up from their stool and check on availability. I was told repeatedly that she could get in trouble for even checking. Miraculously there was a room available and we were able to check in, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Check in was kind of a mess. We arrived early and hoped for a room because we drove from NY, but to no avail. Check in wasnt until 4pm and we actually didnt end up getting our room until after 6pm, but they did help us with amenities after this hiccup. The location was great. We had our young daughter with us and we felt safe where we were. The lobby was gorgeous and smelled amazing. Our room was incredibly clean. There was a bartender named Jaime and she was amazing with our daughter while we waited for our room. Overall it was a lovely experience and our daughter even loved the hotel. It was fancy but reasonable

Arrived at our hotel shortly after stated check in time only to find out rooms weren't ready due to the hotel being full. Had to wait about 2-2 1/2 hours for our room to be ready. When we came back to check in, the line was long and took us a good 20 minutes to finally get our key. Once we got our key, the room and other processes were fine. We had a suite that was nice and accomodating. Expect some road noise that could disturb your sleep if you are a light sleeper. Good location, Easy access to the highways to get to downtown and elsewhere. Think it is ridiculous to have ot pay $22 for parking in such a remote location. It's not like this was in the heart of the city. Looking past the process, we enjoyed our one night stay.

There are some hidden fees at this place, including parking, which was about $27. Also, the in-house restaurant is very good, but because it’s the only restaurant around this property, it’s a little pricey. There was a slight problem with my reservation when I arrived, largely due to a miscommunication given to me by the third-party booking app that I made the reservation through. While the issue eventually got sorted, the staff of the hotel didn’t seem very understanding and didn’t make me feel welcome at the property.

Nice room, clean, comfortable bed. We got to the bar at 9:30PM and the bar tender/waitress informed us that she just closed the restaurant early because they were "too busy". A man next to us said she was complaining about being so busy since he got there at 8:00PM and she was complaining the entire time we were there but there were only 8 people at the bar and 2 table of 2 people. She would most likely walk off the job if she was at an actual busy bar. She also called last call at 10:00PM. The hours for the bar/restaurant are not published and they didn\'t inform us at check in. Also, there is no "Review View" as there are buildings obstructed the view.
