Liked the open area around the reception desk. The gym was clean, the staff was very receptive and went out of their way to accommodate us. Next time in Pittsburgh would definitely stay there again.

Even Hotel was well located and had everything we needed including gym, on site food, and in room amenities. Our room also had a great view of the nearby Union Trust building. We love the adaptive reuse of the Kaufman department store building!

Large open lobby and exercise room .. also ping pong table, bar and snack area. All very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fitness oriented with some exercise equipment in each room. Don't believe the web page where it says it's only a 14 minute walk to PNC. It's easily 25 to 30 minutes. If you need parking include it with your registration. Otherwise it's $30 extra .. parking is conveniently just across the street.

I always like the location, the room, the table tennis room and the spacious lobby. I had a chicken sandwich for dinner and it was delicious. It would have been better if you provided a bigger portion of the side salad.

Really nice property, very nice rooms. A little outside of the prime area of downtown. But there is convenient parking. And there are still good dining options nearby. The rest of downtown is only a short walk away. Really great staff who were super friendly and attentive to our needs.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, there is a parking garage across the street which made parking a breeze. The hotel it’s self was very clean, comfortable and offered a very nice lobby witch included plenty of seating, a small bar, nice state of the art gym, game room and the hotel is pet friendly! I would highly recommend staying here

The room we stayed in had what looked like dark yellow stains down the sides of the mattress and mattress cover on the one bed. Thankfully we were in a room with two beds, so we slept in the other. So gross.

The room was not cleaned. We had to wait 20 minutes to check in because they weren’t ready for us. The bathroom mirror was cracked and the bathroom smelled like mildew when the shower was on. One window lacked blackout curtains and we were blasted with sunlight at dawn. The room was not quiet and you could hear pounding all morning. It is close to PPG arena which was nice but all and all I wouldn’t stay here again.

I arrived Tuesday night on the 24rd never checked the water. Got up to take a shower on the 25th for no hot water called guest services they said were working on it. Came back after the game and the shower was barely luke warm. Woke up today to leave on the 26th still no hot water. Went down to the front desk they said they would have a manager look into it and try and refund me one night.

Although the hotel seems very comfortable and new, and the staff was nice, the room wasn't clean. The shower wasn't cleaned at all - there was hair from previous guests on the shampoo dispenser and on the soap holder. There was hair on all three towels that were in the bathroom and one of them was stained. When I went to sleep and moved the blanket, guess what? Hair on the bed. Very unpleasant.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel and room during our stay given the high rating on this site. The overall hotel had an unpleasant odor to it and didn't appear very clean. The individual room had holes in the wall, paint chip and rust stains in the shower. The staff was very pleasant and friendly but the cleanliness was left to be desired.

Staff was amazing but our room was 90 degrees when we went into it. The TV didn't work, the fridge was turned off, the shower drain was clogged and there was mold in the shower. They did give us 20k points.

I like Even hotels and in this one the room and bathroom was spacious but when we walked in room above one of the beds where hair and the bathroom floor and shower had hair on the floor and shower cabin had mold.

The food was good and the staff very kind and helpful. However, I got terrible sleep. The A/C unit in the room was very loud, the refrigerator also loud. And, I could hear everything happening on the street below from the 6th floor as well as every car horn and alarm from the neighboring parking garage.

Pros: The room was spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned. If you’re lucky enough to get an outward-facing room, the view is quite nice. Otherwise, be prepared for a rather uninspiring view into a plain courtyard that unfortunately resembles a prison yard. Cons: Check-in was marked by multiple issues. Most notably, a guest had a bathroom accident at the hotel entrance and into the lobby (on the 5th floor). While unfortunate situations like this can happen, there were no signs posted to alert guests, and the hotel was clearly understaffed to manage the cleanup promptly or thoroughly. Parking was another major challenge. We were given four different sets of directions by four different people, all pointing to different parking locations. Ultimately, the concierge—who was overwhelmed but remained professional and courteous—had to physically escort me to the correct location. Calling guest services was also frustrating, taking five minutes to reach someone who was ultimately misinformed. Calls should be routed directly to the front desk to prevent unnecessary delays and confusion. Overall: I’ve rounded up my rating slightly due to the front desk's effort to provide a partial refund at checkout (which wasn’t possible due to booking through Expedia). However, based on this experience, I would not consider this a true 4-star hotel.

Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Decor is fun and modern. You do hear the city noise since the hotel is only on the 5th and 6th floors so it’s not great if you are a light sleeper.

Had the most horrible checking in experience ever. The front desk clerk, Adam, cursed at my son calling him a “Dumb Ass” only because we missed the note that he could Not check in being he was 20 and not 21. We were given a refund by the level of disrespect experienced cannot be fixed with $134.

I was overcharged for my stay, and when I called to inquire about it, the front desk manager mocked me and I had to go to the management company. They admitted their mistake (they didn't modify my reservation when I asked them to when checking in) but refused to help and eventually I had to go through my own credit card company for a resolution.

I liked that the rooms had some work out equipment in them. I didn't use it, but nice idea. We waited a good 20 minutes or more in line to check in. It was already after 4:00 and the room wasnt ready. Had to wait probably another 15 minutes.

We stayed here for two night during Picklesburgh. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful with locally owned bars to visit and even loaned me some scissors so I could convert my t-shirt into a tank top. We would definitely stay here again. We parked in their deck and the car was safe.

Upon arrival at 2:45 desk staff said check in did not begin until 3:00. 2 other guests arrived at same time. All 3 of us had to wait until she decided to check us in at 2:55. Never experienced front desk staff person with as little customer service. Did not explain parking. Didn’t offer to answer any questions. Rude from beginning to end including on check out.

Had to change rooms because AC and TV did not work. Worst part was a fire alarm went off at 7AM. we evacuated the hotel with rest of guests. There were about 100 of us standing on the street at the entrance (lobby was on 5th floor) for like 15 minutes after the alarm stopped. Nobody from the hotel came to notify us that it was a false alarm and we could return to room. We had to learn from exiting guest.

Booked thru Expedia - two rooms for two nights. One room was able to check in on time, but I had our flight severely delayed and I wasn't able to check in until the following day at 9am. Upon arrival, we were told that we were marked as a no-show even though the staff had been informed of our flight situation the night prior by the group checking in and that we were still arriving. So the hotel cancelled our reservation anyway and took payment for the first night. The hotel staff (especially the supervisor) was incredibly rude, told us it was our fault for not calling the hotel about our situation even though they had already been told and half the rez was already fulfilled. Completely disrespectful management and ultimately we had to go thru Expedia to iron out the situation with the hotel. The EVEN hotel is nothing special, definitely recommend staying somewhere else if visiting PIT.

The hotel and staff are very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I did not like the location. Lots of homeless and sketchy looking people congregated on the street outside. Use your room key to enter the main floor, but people piggy back and enter behind you. There is no one on the main floor and no security. You do not need to use your room key for the elevator so anyone who gets in the main door could get up on the level where the guests are. I think they should have better security measures considering where they are located and the atmosphere in the city at this time.

Easy parking access nearby and the location of this hotel was great. Everything is within walking distance. We went to a Pirates game and we walked there and back. Will be back here again.

The hotel was fine. When I booked I prepaid for a hot breakfast for 2 both days, except they didn’t actually serve a hot breakfast while we were there. They set out some free bagels but there wasn’t even a toaster. They said they would refund me the $60 and didn’t. I was supposed to have a city view but the view was mostly just parking garage. Other than that, the room was fine and the location was convenient. Parking was across the street but an easy walk.

Room was in excellent condition. Alot of noise in room, might have been from the air conditioner kicking on but even so was pretty noisy OR from the heat kicking on but still was noisy and lasted a few minutes, pretty annoying. The water in shower was luke warm and actually cold at times. NO hot water in bath, very unacceptable and disappointing. Breakfast was ok but could have been better. Check-in staff was very helpful.

Everything was excelent except the front desk people. They were not kind at all. The lady who was serving the breakfast She dont even say good morning to us. My daughter and i saw her in bad mood all the time. If she is not.happy working there why she is doing it. Please find kind people for the benefit of the hotel to serve amd help the customers.
