The pool was not in working condition. Also, the $15 parking fee per night came as a surprise. I believe most hotels in the area have free parking. So a good deal on the room becomes less with $15 added per night.

I picked it for the jacuzzi by the pool. Most other affordable hotels in the area offered free breakfast, they did not. However, I was willing to fore go the breakfast for the jacuzzi. I paid to much for that place. I could’ve got a comparable room for like $180. The pool was closed & all tore up- a mess. No jacuzzi as marketed. Bartender couldn’t make a lemon drop martini. What I hoped to be a relaxing night - was not. . Also., only one elevator was working. No usb/c plug ins in room. No screen on window. It goes on. 🙄

If you want an elevator that works, a pool you can take a dip in or fountains that don’t have stagnant water due to not working this is the place for you. I stayed 12 days because I had to but never again!

This property is in need of a little reno: a new elliptical fitness machine for the workout room; solar heating to make the pool and hot tub warm, not just something to look at; cleaning products with essential oil or other natural aroma; functional printers in the business center; attention to air quality in the guest rooms and repair of heating system... Otherwise I will likely always be a return customer!

Hotel room and building was fine. Included breakfast was very good. But we stayed there because the pool looked nice and there were so many dead floating winged ants in the pool it was almost unusable. We reported a flying ant infestation in one of the pool skimmers to the front desk and to their credit somebody took care of it within 24 hrs, but that didn’t reduce the number of dead floaters in the pool, which we found unfortunate. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The stay was not what we were expecting at all. We went valentine’s day weekend in hopes to have a relaxing mini engagement celebration. The hot tub did not work. The pool was not and had not been cleaned it what looked like weeks. We chose this specific stay to enjoy the water and have drinks. We instead stayed in, tried to order room service for over an hour with no one answering. We tried calling for the front desk and after no response for more than 45 min I get a call explaining that there is only one receptionist (for more than 12 hours) and that the kitchen was now closed.

Stayed 5/18/2024 for 1 night upon arrival front desk said the pool, restaurant, and bar are closed with nothing noted on website when I said oh know my daughter is looking forward to swimming the front desk response was they can cancel my reservation & I can find a different hotel! RUDE! Next morning we wake up to ants from the bathroom to the window & no we didn’t eat in the hotel or have food. Ants were in all our stuff were in my suitcase, shoes, on the desk, and I found one in my hair. I called the front desk and I was told they will have someone spray, as though it’s normal and they didn’t say oh I’m sorry can we get you a different room, so we leave the room as they sprayed! After I asked if we could check out 1 hour later and I was told no they can not do that. Never have I stayed at a hotel with so many issues for a 1 night stay.

Ground floor room right off the lobby was dark and smelled damp. Some towels available in the bathroom reeked and were unusable. Lighting in the room and bathroom was horrible (first generation energy saving light bulbs). WiFi was free but unusable for typical business traveler (2 Mbps down/4 Mbps up). Hotel bar was a sad place with zero enjoyable ambience.

Stayed one night at the Crown plaza in Palo Alto. The check in was easy with good customer service. The property is a little dated but the room was updated. We stayed on the 1st floor and the bathroom was not cleaned properly ther was hair in the sink and in the shower. They also left a used wash cloth on top of the shower curtain, that fell on me, very gross. The walls of the room are paper thin, we came back to our room very late after visiting family and the person next door had a dog who kept barking and someone who was continuously coughing, making for basically no rest or sleep. One other thing when we got back my key would work to get us in the room, it was 2 am mind you. I went to the front desk to getva new card and confirm the.room number as it was about 2am. The person at the desk asked for my name and id and then said that my Id didnt look like me,Very unprofessional! So in closing will not stay here again and do not recommend.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had nice amenities and the lobby always had coffee and hot water available. We had a cabana room and it was very quiet, I'm sure partially due to the time of the year but we were able to enjoy our patio in peace. Unfortunately the wall paper was pealing in our room.

Check in was difficult as only 2 employees were helping one customer leading to a long line for the rest of us checking in. The employee was nice but took a long time actually completing the check in even though there was little to no information needed from me. The employee told and wrote down the wrong number of the room leading us to walk the entire property only to arrive at a room we couldn’t enter after trying the door multiple times and having to walk back to the front desk and were told our correct room was right in the front. The room signage and arrows were confusing and not helpful as some rooms are outside but the arrows say they are inside. The elevator was slow and hot. Once we actually got to our room it was clean and comfy but the AC didn’t work. It said it went down to 60 degrees but only actually got down to 75. And kept turning off so the room was stuffy and we had to keep opening the door to the hallway for airflow.

It’s an aging nice hotel. There are robes and room service but everything feels a bit dated. Not by a lot but just enough to take it from a great hotel to a fine one. Also, the AC isn’t that great so if you run on the warm side bring a fan.

Paid in full when I booked the room on hotels.com, upon check out I was charged AGAIN by Crowne Plaza themselves at their rate on a credit card I gave them for the deposit on the room. Glad I checked my statement and noticed. It has been 2 weeks since and still have not received the refund or confirmation from them. I’ve called multiple times on multiple days and they tell me it will be processed and they’ll send the email and still nothing. The hotel itself was nice, the breakfast included was average, and nice pool area for the family, but even with all that, it’s still not enough to makeup for a $364 charge that shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. And then to take this long to still not get any feedback is ridiculous. I got no apology from the staff or management each time I call the ask about what is going on. They just forward me until I get someone who tells me it will be processed. Very unprofessional on the hotels behalf.

The gentleman, Ron, checking us in was on a personal call while we were waiting to be attended to and also had an attitude. My husband and I do not share the same last name, so he would not allow him to use his credit card or ID although I added him on the reservation. He said you don’t have the same last name although he were checking in with our child. Rude to assume anything in 2023 world. We also mistakenly thought Hilton was a part of IHG and he rudely reminded my husband by showing a card and aging so you see Hilton anywhere on this list? My husband found his IHG number and then he said because we booked through Expedia he could t attach it at all. I have stayed before with other properties booking through Expedia and you can use your rewards number, they usually just don’t issue the points. Not a great first start to our check-in and won’t be back on our next trip for area. There was a Courtyard that looked nice and clean across the street we will try next time. Attitude goes a long way in a customer service industry and is very off putting.

We stayed in this hotel for our daughter’s graduation at Stanford. It’s expensive but we picked this hotel bec we wanted to have a nice stay. It’s ok except for 2 things. One, we waited for abt 30mins just to check-in bec there’s only 1 receptionist (name is Dayana) & she’s dealing with some lady with an issue checking-in (used her mom’s cc to book, mom not w her). So she called her mgr on the phone, talked for a long time, then handed the phone to the lady, who again explained her case to the said mgr. While she’s doing that, instead of Dayana at least greeting us, apologizing to us about the wait, she didn’t say anything to us, as if we’re not there. So we stepped in, tried to ask her if there’s anyone who can help us since we’re just checking in. She just told us it’s only her, no apology or offer to service us first since the other one’s still on d phone. We wouldn’t have minded the wait if she was smiling and offer us at least some water. We drove 9hrs to get there! More minutes went by & the lady was allowed to chk in anyway. Dayana checked her in, disappeared in the back bec the lady requested toiletries. When it’s our turn (still no smile or welcome from her), we gave her our check in info & it only took like 2 mins! Fast fwd, our family’s in our room. There were only 2 towels (we booked for 4). We called CS, asked for 4 more. We were surprised she even asked why 4? Just give em! We felt we weren’t welcome there. Cancelled our dinner reservn there & dined out.

Enrico did every job, all other staff members we unhelpful or I knowledge of the job. He needs to run the place!!! His customer service and professionalism was outstanding! Keep Enrico and hire new staff! There were 3 people at the counter when I checked in and all of them passed me me on to someone else until the last guy sighed and was like I guess I’ll help u. Nothing but lazy lazy people! I heard the entire hotel complaining at one point! Not worth the frustration, stay elsewhere!

When I made the reservation it included breakfast. When I got to the hotels and when down for breakfast everyone got a plate of food and then they asked for my room number and then told me my room didn’t come with breakfast and charged me $42 for three kids to eat a buffet breakfast! Not cool

We came up to Palo Alto to celebrate my wife's birthday, hook up with friends and clients, and take in the last Stanford Football home game of the season. Great dinner on Friday night at Sundance Steakhouse. Stanford Cardinal came from 14 points down i. The 4th quarter to win on a walk-off field goal to end the game. Saturday night was dinner at Giorgio's in Los Altos in honor of our late friend. The Crowne Plaza was perfect for getting to and from these activities and had all the necessary amenities, including a decent buffet breakfast and a bar for a nightcap. Looking forward to returning when it's warmer.

The pool was closed and we chose it for the fact that it had a pool, the food was horrible, the service was horrible. The buffet breakfast had nothing edible. I will never stay here again!!! We would of been better off at a motel 6. The bartender needs to be replaced he was so rude to us.
