Very nice all round with the exception of the bed (st Petersburg) which shook and squeaked at the slightest movement.

Stayed 2 nights

Had a lovely stay, staff were really laid back and super accommodating. We stayed in Casablanca which had lovely decor, ambience and was very clean, it's so nice to stay somewhere that has character! We stayed over the weekend and even though it's on a main road, the evenings were really quiet. We called beforehand and were able to check in early and leave our bags in a safe place as we were attending a festival. When we returned in the evening they gave us our keys and had already moved our things in to our room for us. They also allowed us to keep our cold drinks in the fridge downstairs, where there is a kitchen to help yourself to drinks and breakfast in the mornings or use the microwave. There is a smoking area out the back that backs onto the secure gated car park. We found the beds to be really clean and comfortable. The only downsides was the shower temperature was hard to control so it stayed very hot and the bathroom had a couple of spots that needed a deeper clean, just for those who are neat freaks. It's located in a great spot for shopping and eating, with the main shops and mall a few minutes walk down the hill, and a few minutes drive in the opposite way takes you to a street full of charity shops and restaurants. There is a great pizza shop opposite the hotel which is open till the early hours. We were really happy with our stay and special thanks to Jo for being so kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again :) xxx

Breakfast was underwhelming. No staff to be seen and nothing fresh apart from a few apples. Very much on a par with the cheapest hotels offerings. Room comfortable enough but plug in bathroom sink rusty. Just another budget hotel really. I found the themed rooms gimmicky and unnecessary.

Ideally placed, friendly and well ran hotel/inn. Contact was great from the start and the lady we dealt with was very helpful. I had enquired about early check-in, I had a call to advise this might not be possibly due to cleaning the room between the last guest and us but they would try to. We arrived early and the room was ready, which was a great help as we were going out for the rest of the day and not planning on returning until late evening. The room themes are brilliant, and the manager even showed us 2 of the other themed rooms so we knew in future if we stayed again to request those named rooms. The bed was super comfy too! Would 100% stay here again in future when we visit Nottingham! The only thing I didn’t know until the day off travelling up was that parking is £10 for a space at the back of the hotel. BUT it is a secure/gated car park, and that price is much cheaper than the other car parks local to the hotel.
